БТ-5 — советский лёгкий колёсно-гусеничный танк. Серийный танк семейства БТ («Быстроходные танки»). Принят на вооружение в соответствии с военной доктриной, определившей преимущества скоростных крейсерских танков, способных в кратчайшие сроки покрывать большие расстояния и действовать на оперативных просторах. Выпускался серийно ХПЗ в 1933—1935 годах. Масса 11,5 тонн. Экипаж 3 человека: водитель, командир, выполняющий обязанности наводчика, и заряжающий.
