Description
Fill your adrenaline meter and mow down everything in your path in Slow Motion with Bullet Time X!

Overview

Bullet Time X is a gameplay mod inspired by Max Payne’s bullet time. Not only is the world around you slowed down, but also your weapons, movement, sounds and everything else!

This mod allows you to slow everything down when you need it most, provided you have enough adrenaline in your system to utilize this great power.

How to use
Press ‘B' to activate it (key can be changed in mod menu options).
Also press 'V’ to activate Shootdodge. Here you will make a jump and everything will go even slower while you are mid-air, make those shots count!

Tips
  • Enemies with more health will give more adrenaline when killed.
  • Shootdodging doesn’t require adrenaline to be activated, so go on Neo-style killing spree mid-air.
  • Slide / Dash + Shootdodge is OP; I absolutely recommend it.

Notes
  • This mods works with existing savegames; you do not need to create a new game for it to work. It just works.
  • Want to change sounds, have unlimited adrenaline or adjust how slow everything goes? you can do so in the mod options menu. Keep in mind that some settings need the ‘reload settings’ button to take effect.
  • If you had manually installed Bullet Time X before the steam workshop release, check the mod settings (default time multipliers values mostly) since I made some changes in the time multipliers for better gameplay.
  • To uninstall the mod on an existing savegame, first press the ‘remove mod’ button from Bullet Time X settings, save the game and then delete the mod.

I had the same issue in the Plant Cloning Facility. Dev Cockatrice's response to my bug post:

"It seems that the problem was caused by the Bullet Time mod which has a habit of wreaking havoc with some of the ACS scripts in this level, including the plant stamper and elevator.

This is not the issue we initially believed it to be. I haven't determined exactly HOW this is happening yet but I am still investigating."

This mod breaks the Plant Stamper puzzle for security clearance 6 in the Plant Cloning Facility. You will not be able to obtain it with this mod active.

Just posting again as a month on it's still an issue that isn't listed anywhere on this page besides Seel's comment, which I missed the first time I tried it.

hello! I would love to learn how you implement a mod menu into your mod (I helped put together the tactical lean mod) and also perhaps the functions in my mod could help this one to be more immersive, by diving and leaning at the same time you can get a better POV of diving if that makes sense. Send me a message and lets collab! :-)

Seel's right. This breaks the sequence where you need to use a barrel to cause a jam to get a security clearance card.

NOTE: DO NOT USE THIS MOD IF YOU ARE ENTERING THE PLANT CLONING FACILITY. IT WILL BREAK ONE OF THE PUZZLES AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OBTAIN THE SECURITY CLEARANCE CARD.

It's a shame that this mod is broken because it makes the game so much enjoyable with it.

@mangaas I think that is a general bug in the game. I only have the Tokyo visor installed and without using it I get persistent "plasma tracers".

anyone experienced the flying infantry (krieger iirc?) instantly dies if they spawn during slow-mo?

Also it's impossible to change weapons during a slide, which I suppose is an actual bug.

For some reason guns shoot faster while sliding; is this intended?

I think this is broken now, a lot of the FX and smoke stay permanent with this on, and some other errors with plasma FX and when shooting at those red shields the soldiers throw up.
