There are many engines in the game, but which one is better?

Introduction

Different engines have different characteristics and applications, so let's take a closer look at them.

Short review

Rocket Thruster is a very small and weak engine, I do not recommend using it at all.

UFO Engine is a good engine when you need to save power units, it has the most outstanding performance in terms of power to power unit ratio.

Tips

Why are engine parameters important? Sometimes it is possible, instead of one powerful engine, to install 2 or more less powerful or lighter engines and get better characteristics of the model.

For example, instead of 2 Dragon Jets, you can install 3 Propellers, the power will be the same, the same number of Power Cores, but the model will be lighter and the engines will take up less space.

Or Instead of 1 Large Jet, you can install 12 Space Thruster, the power will be greater, but the number of Power Cores will also increase.

Let's take my SR-71 as an example.
I filled its body with Dragon Jets, the number of power cores is 114, the number of parts is 465, and the weight is 1539.4 kg.
Its maximum speed was 1151 km/h.
I replaced the Dragon Jets with Space Thrusters, now the number of power cores is 267, the number of parts is 615, and the weight is 1761.8 kg.
Its maximum speed was 1475 km/h.

Finding the best engine

It would seem that there are many engines and it is difficult to choose the best one, but we will turn to science:
First we calculate the ratio of engine weight to engine power and best indicator here is UFO Engine.
Then we calculate the ratio of (power / weight) of engine to size of engine and best indicator here is Space Thruster.
Based on these numbers, we can make a clear conclusion - the best engine if we need to save power cores is the UFO Engine and the best engine if we do not need to save power cores is the Space Engine.
