Odyssey is official content that comes included with Team Fortress 2.

Description

Prepare to embark on Odyssey - a four-point Payload map from the creator of Phoenix, Altitude, and Cascade set within the ancient ruins and neighboring marble quarry of a remote island in the Greek archipelago. BLU starts high on a hilltop archaeological site and must descend deep into the industrial quarry below to destroy RED’s enormous marble cutting machine.

Odyssey features a unique descending layout where the cart path never travels uphill. This flips the script of typical payload gameplay, providing attackers with abundant high ground, but requiring them to eventually sacrifice that advantage and push into the defending team’s equally powerful elevated positions in order to progress. The map concludes with BLU fighting for control of RED’s marble cutting machine, using its massive rotating saw blade to detonate their payload.

@Star Bright, would love to get the fixed nav mesh. Can you kindly send it to me? Thanks!

@Star Bright As someone who mostly plays bots, I'd love the nav mesh if you've still got it

hi c:
Great map, I was just wondering if you maybe had any ideas for that objective HUD? Even today, I notice people on servers not recognizing the cool last point gimmick, but I think something as simple (i think simple?) as another Payload point visualized at the end of the track, before the objective swaps to a capture point, could help a lot.
TF2 players can just be a lil ditzy qwq but they'll notice an extra circle or the plain text on Hacksaw or whatever imo imo worth trying but regardless thanks for fun map c:

Heya! The packed-in nav mesh is quite broken in a lot of places and leads to bots pretty frequently getting stuck. I've made a fixed nav mesh for the map if you're interested at all!

Visually stunning map, shockingly well designed when it comes to all points, having no major issues other than some areas that are just a bit too hard or awkward to defend for defense. The flank routes are plentiful yet not overwhelming and theres a lot of areas where specific classes can shine, such a demo in areas where the walls get tight but you can fire grenades or stickies over the walls.

I don't know if i'm the first one to notice, but yhere is a wind chimes sound in the background, reminding us of the Interloper HL2.
