Satisfactory 1 tip at time guide, tip# 1
By Deep Thought
Tip #1 is below.

It's April 9, 2024 and this is day 2 of my experience with Satisfactory.
I spent 3 hours trying to figure something out yesterday and it prompted me to write this guide.
The in-game tutorial doesn't work yet and that's fine because you really don't need it.
Satisfactory is a DIY game and that means figuring out the game mechanics is part of the game. It can be frustrating at times though so if you're like me, you don't want the rest of the experience spoiled just because you hit a snag.

This is not a manual or even a list of tips. Each tip is a separate guide. It begins with the most basic yet most essential piece of information that might have eluded you - tip #1. As the numbers go up, more information is revealed about a specific topic, yet never more than is necessary to nudge you further down the path. The tip numbers will be listed in this guide, categorized by topic tags as they are created so you can come back to this page, "Satisfactory 1 tip at a time guide - Introduction to Early Access from v 0.8.3.3", for an update without learning the actual tip content. Each tip also ends with topic tags to the next tip in the sequence which they were created (as I played the game). Is this method comprehensive - no. That is intentional. Some tips will seem obvious to a few of you and that's fine. To others, they might be just the nudge needed to move forward. You can select them chronologically (by number) or categorically (by topic) - your choice. The idea is to minimize spoilers to game play while helping you out, if you want it. I didn't read any guides so these tips are all completely subjective to my personal experience as a RANK BEGINNER.
I hope you find it helpful, but not too helpful.

Each tip is titled - " Satisfactory 1 tip at time guide, tip# " and the number. Each one contains the introductory content above, followed by the topic tags(listed below) and their associated tip #s, and finally ending with the content corresponding to the guide title.

Did you know ..
Tip #1 - that you have a bunch of pre-built items in your inventory/backpack/whatever? Did you miss that? I almost did. The game tends to automate you to building things and sometimes that's what you have to do but you can get a big jump right from the beginning by just learning how to utilize what you were given at the beginning of the game. That's it. Tip #1 See Spoiler Alert in Guide Index for details - scroll down.

WARNING! This tip is a very low level spoiler as is the image.

Your inventory will look different. I've already put something that was there to use.
Do you see what's missing?
