Regarding finding all spirits (hidden achievements):

There is a total of 27 spirit companions (excl. DLC, see note¹ below)
The cat spirit 'Lenny' is automatically unlocked, others need to be found.

A spirit can only be found once you have its hint in the Spiritdex,
and the hint is received once you reach a certain Spiritographer Rank:
  • Level 3 (unlocks the hints for Earlybirb & Hedgelog)
  • Level 5 (unlocks the hints for Arachknit & Chapterpillar)
  • Level 7 (unlocks the hint for Moonpaw)
  • Level 8 (unlocks the hint for Drizzlefin)
  • Level 9 (unlocks the hint for Trashnuki)
  • Level 10 (unlocks the hint for Kettlebrew)
  • Level 11 (unlocks the hint for Sunquill)
  • Level 12 (unlocks the hint for Bulbee)
  • Level 13 (unlocks the hint for Vootodoo)
  • Level 14 (unlocks the hint for Inkster)
  • Level 15 (unlocks the hint for Bobapole)

  • Level 20 (unlocks the hint for Hexwing)
  • Level 21 (unlocks the hint for Twintail)
  • Level 22 (unlocks the hint for Bloomscale)
¹ Note: +12 new spirit companions with Cozy Kitchen DLC, +11 new spirit companions with All Aboard DLC and +13 new spirit companions with Enchanted Garden DLC, they have no achievements. Furthermore, 2 non-DLC spirit companions (Among Us Update & Lofi Girl Update) have no achievements. Sus.

How can the spirit companions be found?

Once you have the hint, finding the spirit companions requires:
  • changing some settings (specific lighting, activities and sounds)
💡 In the image above, I've marked these settings with minty-colored arrows.
Important for the spirit may be just one setting or a combination of settings: the time of day, where you are, what you are doing & what sounds can be heard (music does not count).

    Extra hints from me:
🍜 For Cozy Kitchen DLC spirits: some kitchen spirits require you to have another very specific spirit companion nearby, activated through the Wardrobe setting.
🚅 For All Aboard DLC spirits: decor (scenery out of the window) matters.
🌱 For Enchanted Garden DLC spirits: some garden spirits require you to have another very specific spirit companion nearby, activated through the Wardrobe setting.

  • patience (letting the game run for a while)
💡 When the Spiritdex shows the animation above, that means your settings are correct and all you need to do is wait for the spirit to appear.

  • clicking on the Spiritdex when it shows a red dot (important!)

Hints in the Spiritdex can help you find the hidden spirits.
If the hints don't help, do not worry, I will provide all solutions in a spoiler-friendly format.

@Grackopolis its a chill game. You open it and enjoy the tunes. Thought using the Pomodoro timer, to-do list, and daily log-ins helps in gaining exp. The game can basically be opened on your pc while you do other stuff.
Jul 10 @ 7:00pm
It would be additionally helpful to post how many hours you must accrue in sessions to get to level 50. After lvl 40 it is a VERY slow grind.
Jun 14 @ 9:01am
Really helpful guide, I’ve got them all now.
Jun 2 @ 10:21am
@iioxky no you do not. Every achievement is linked to an action or a spirit that are fully free.
Jun 2 @ 10:20am
@mychelle if it has a logo, it means it is linked to a dlc. Except for Crewmate and Pocky which are free, you'll need to pay the dlc linked to the cosmetic you want to unlock it.
May 31 @ 8:24pm
do you need the DLC to get all achievements?
May 27 @ 2:20pm
thank you for the info about pocky!!!
