Cosmetic Improvements/Additions
TerraForge is a unique digital trading card game that combines MMORPG elements with traditional TCG mechanics. In TerraForge you play as an Avatar, an icon of worship for the many creatures inhabitting the realm. As you play the game, you will gather experience, allowing your Avatar to level up and unlock powerful abilities which can be used to aid you in battle. In addition to typical TCG features, TerraForge allows players to team up with their comrades in order to face off against powerful raid bosses in their quest for epic rewards! To top this off, TerraForge is completely free to play!

Key Features
Customizable Avatar
  • Multiple Classes The first release of TerraForge will include three distinct classes for players to choose from: the Priest, the Warrior, and the Mage.
  • Level Up and Unlock Abilities Each class has three specialized skill trees for unique styles of play! As player's level up their Avatars, they will unlock more skills and abilities, providing further versatility to existing gameplay.
  • Customize Avatar Appearance Players can customize the appearance of their individual fully animated 3D Avatar models.

  • Can't Buy Power! All cards and items that affect the competetive nature of gameplay can be acquired through in game currency.
  • Cosmetic Monetization The primary means of monetization for TerraForge will be through sale of cosmetic items that broaden the visual experience without affecting gameplay, such as Avatar skins, board models, and animations.

Multiple Game Modes
  • Competetive Ranked Arena Players can face off against opponents of similar strength in a seasonally ranked ladder. Top players will be rewarded with unique one-of-a-king items such as Champion's custom Avatar skins and Card backings.
  • Casual Players can practise and test decks against worthy opponents in casual non-ranked format.
  • Team Competition Players can get together with their friends and face off against opposing teams in 2v2 and 3v3 casual and ranked formats.
  • Single-Player Campaign Players can go on solo adventures to unlock cards and epic rewards in single-player campaign.
  • Multiplayer Campaign Players can get together with their friends and face off against epic bosses in order to unlock powerful cards and epic rewards in multiplayer campaign.
  • Draft Players can open packs and draft cards to build decks that they can use to compete in this limited format.
  • Rotational Format We appreciate that the nature of TCGs will always have some element of Pay-To-Win associated with it. TerraForge incorporates a unique and revolutionary play format to combat this problem, which we have dubbed "Rotational Format". In this format, players must build decks from a common pool of 40 cards (multiples can be used) which they will use to battle worthy adversaries. Since, the pool is common to all players, someone who owns a larger collections of better cards will not be at an advantage, it is simply a test of deck building and playing skills. The 40 card pool will rotate on a weekly basis, thus ensuring a healthy and dynamic meta in this format.

  • Guild Chat Systems Players can chat with Guild members through dedicated guild chat systems.
  • Guild Banks Players can share cards and items with their Guild members through Guild bank systems.

Unique Game Mechanics
  • Strategic Resource Allocation There are five different resources in TerraForge. These resources are separate from your deck, and typically can be allocated at a rate of one per turn.
  • Dedicated Defense and Attack Positions Creatures can be placed in a finite number of defense and attack positions, meaning players must carefully place their creatures in order to ensure victory!
  • Strategic Battlefield Placement Some creature and spells affect mutiple positions of the board, this means that the strategic placement of creatures and spells is of paramount importance.
  • No RNG Mechanics Apart from the inherent randomness associated with drawing of cards, no cards in TerraForge have any RNG mechanics associated with them.

Reminds me of playing Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid and Magic when I got older. Looks really cool. I'll definately be keeping an eye on it.
It would be friggin sweet if your placed cards summoned the actual monsters onto the field and they had attack animations and such.

I don't like Trading Card Games, but this one looks awesome. And it's rare to see real game studios working on a real games nowdays. Keep going, you can succeed ;)

Hey, you people got a good thing going on and I'm happy to see at least some people trying to be original and I do hope you succeed with this game. I'm personally not a fan of TCG's but I am voting for this game because i have faith this indie studio will get at least some of the attention it deserves. I hope you make it in this industry!

@Samkiud Hey Samkiud, we're glad to see you're so eager to play :) means we're doing something right (hopefully). We're working hard at it, but honestly after all the Greenlight nightmares we've seen where half-finished games are released just to make a quick buck, we really do want to make sure we've done everything we can before releasing the game. We're almost there!
