How to do swap mode Online!!!!

I will tell you how to swap online!

remote play together

make sure you and your friend have a controller
Enter the shift tab menu by pressing shift tab
Right click on your desired friend
and press Remote Play Together
this will send them a message.
They will have to accept the remote play together.
This will start streaming your screen to theirs, and give them control over your game with a 2nd controller!

but this is the same as local co-op, in another person's guide on how to unlock swap mode, you said it wasn't just local, which made me think we didn't have to use the shitty steam remote play thing to play co-op, but when I get to this guide, I was disappointed that it was just steam remote play. No offense though.
