SNES Reboot

Description
THIS MODULE REQUIRES GEEKED'S PROP PACK

Back in 1993 there was a Shadowrun game released on the Super Nintendo. It developed quite a dedicated following, and as a tribute to it I founded the SNES Reboot project.

The goal of this project is to remake (and improve) the SNES version for Shadowrun Returns.

Though this project is complete, we welcome your feedback. We know the project isn't perfect, but hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. And, time permitting, we'd love to continue enhancing it in the future!

This module is intended for either the default (Jake) or a new character. The module requires Geeked's prop pack which is available here: Workshop Link

Nobody I'm aware of has ever requested I (we?) watch them play before... We're still lurking around. Building one of these is too much work to just abandon and ignore them.

"Prop clipping" is usually a result of too large props and too small of a display window. Camera zoom, x,y,z dimensions of all the prop, bounding boxes, there are lots of factors that go into getting something to functionally show up in game.

You also need to copy the file into your art directory without the editor run ing or it won't import proprly. After it imports, you then need to set the detail layer, position, grid size, bounnding box, and facing(s). You should also have a 2x size identical file for the ho def toggle to behave.

Hmm... I don't think having a separate pack would make a difference...
That being said, I don't know for sure. Geeked was our prop expert who made pretty much all our assets.

It's been a long time if you don't remember I was making a ugc and i ran into an issue where my custom assets were clipping off the side of the map. Months later an idea popped into my head that yall use custom assets in a separate ugc Geeks assets or something like that. Do you think that might be what the issue is? l put my custom assets straight into a ugc and now i'm wondering if i need to just make a separate one for the custom assets! What do you think

I think one of the best (and worst) things about the original was how many ways you could get completely stuck for something silly. It was a completely different experience from today's games!

I was like.... maybe 5 or 6. I switched up equipment, mercs, etc. Must have had some 20-minute battles being slowly worn down. Figured it out by accident. Both a glorious and tragic moment. Feel giving away WHO the boss is would not be cool, but if anyone runs into a similar experience it may help.

No worries about doubleposting! Its nice hearing from shadowrun fans!
And I know exactly what you mean about that boss...
