SNES Reboot Beta Version

Back in 1993 there was a Shadowrun game released on the Super Nintendo. It developed quite a dedicated following, and as a tribute to it I founded the SNES Reboot project.
The goal of this project is to remake (and improve) the SNES version for Shadowrun Returns.

This is the BETA version. It is fully playable end to end.

We have extra features and enhancements to add, and welcome your thoughts, suggestions, and bug reports!

This module is intended for either the default (Jake) or a new character. The module requires Geeked's prop pack which is available here: Workshop Link

I think we've got a gameplan for the Minesweeper mini matrix update... And a few "Dave-isms" to needlessly over complicate things on our end, but I think will be value-adding to the mini-game.

More details to follow...

Good point.

Unless the farmable ones are repositioning... Or respawning...

*ponders* I think all the actors in the Caryards are stationary...

You can't save of any actors are moving... Wait a second and try it again.

To bypass the neutral turn bug, open the debugger console (CTRL + ~ (or F1)). Two buttons in the upper left, click on cmd. Type "endturn" (without the quotes) in the cmd text box, and hit enter. Then Ctrl + ~ or F1 to close debugger mode.

Small bug fixes going out... I removed the ability to save from the bed (since it doesn't work). No idea why normal saving is having issues too... Any scene transition should save though, so going to the arena or exiting it should save...

Losing your party on exiting Jester's shouldn't happen... My best guess is a trigger partially ran before the new scene loaded. I tweaked it a bit to hopefully stop that. There is no reason you should have lost your drone though...

For Drake Tower I removed the requirement that you be out of combat to use the elevator. It means you may end up stuck in combat, but you can at least proceed. I have plans to add persistence to this map, so I can properly fix the logic then...

I expect I'll be able to push a fix, but it won't be until late tonight.
Can you clarify the Jester issue? I'm trying to picture where you ran into the problem...

Another update: same thing happened after my disguise was blown on the fifth floor, this time. Blown disguise initiated combat, I killed all the guards on that floor, and there was no more enemy turn but there was still a neutral turn that prevented me exiting combat mode, and the elevator control icon is not visible in combat.

Update: the 3rd floor elevator bug doesn't trigger if I skip the optional back room on floor 2. Combat mode seems to result from the guards buying my lie and running off at the same time my cover is blown and they are flagged as enemies. They still run off instead of attacking me, so because enemies are still alive, combat does not end.

Thanks so much for replying promptly. If you can't push a bug fix, do you know of anything I can do as a workaround? I don't suppose there's a cheat or anything to force end combat, or to teleport my characters to the next floor?

Speaking of teleports and related bugs, when I left Jester's domain under the ship via the elevator portal, I lost Kitsune and my drone; I was able to use the "Reset Hired Runners" option in the bed menu to get Kitsune back, and the drone is no big deal to me (I wasn't using it much) but I thought I should mention it anyway. It seems like that teleport only relocates the protagonist, and for some reason leaves all other party members behind.
