Drive, jump, steal vehicles and cause mayhem on the freeway! Freeway Fury is an action/arcade game inspired by games such as Just Cause, Burnout, Outrun and Spy Hunter.

Freeway Fury is already a very popular Flash game, with 2 sequels. The latest one can be played here:

In Freeway Fury the objective is to reach each checkpoint before the time ends. To do so, the player starts by driving a car, but he may jump onto other vehicles, and hijack them. There is a great variety of vehicles the player may control, such as different cars, motorcycles, trucks, speedboats, tanks, police cars, jet planes... even alien spacecraft!

There are many other features, such as bonuses for performing certain stunts, nitro boost, a special "fury mode", helicopters that drop bombs, areas with ice, lava, etc. The best way to get a feel for the game is to try the latest Flash version, from the link above.

For Steam, we want to create the ultimate version of this game, with the following improvements (when compared to Freeway Fury 3):
  • Full-screen high-resolution graphics.
  • High quality sound and music.
  • Reintroduce freeway exits from Freeway Fury 2.
  • Reintroduce "Free Ride" mode, also known as "cheat mode", from Freeway Fury 2.
  • Possibility of stealing a helicopter.
  • Possibility of using a jet-pack.
  • More levels and gameplay modes, to increase the game's longevity.
  • Better explosions and particle effects.
  • Whatever other crazy ideias come to our mind while we're making it.

This would be our first attempt at making a game for Steam, and we're very interested in knowing if this is something players want. If you have any other ideas let us know! Thanks in advance for your input!

I have played this game before and I must say it was very fun. There's many different routes you can take, and it brings a lot of challenges. I definently think this game should be on Steam for sure.
