I understand. It's a bummer that custom campaign makers work their asses off and gain nothing in return (well, aside from the feeling of making others happy). I don't understand why Valve never capitalized on custom campaigns. They could've easily made a program similiar to CS:GO's Operations where people get to financially support the map makers and play the campaigns in official servers. Would've kept the game fresh and mapping community more active / motivated. Why they never did that boggles me.

Anyways, thanks for the quick answer. Keep up the good work!

First of all thanks for your kind words! I've given some consideration to adding Versus mode but there are two main reasons why I never did. 1.) I didn't want to just make a half-assed attempt at it, I wanted it to be as polished as everything else in the campaign. However I never play Versus mode and know nothing about what makes for good human controlled special infected spawns and ambushes, so reaching the quality of implementation I'd be happy with would have taken a lot of work. 2.) As far as I know not that many people play Versus, and those those that do likely congregate towards the most popular official campaigns since that's where you're most likely to get a full 4v4 lobby. So basically, its a lot of work for relatively few players.

Absolutely amazing campaign. One of my all time favourites along with Detour Ahead. It might be a long shot since it's been almost 4 years since you released the map, but have you considered making it compatible with Versus mode? My friends and I like to play VS in add-on campaigns and this is one of the few of highest quality maps that does not support Versus.

(PS: sorry if you have already answered this question, I skimmed through 20 pages of comments but didn't find an answer)

@Nomight: I suggest that you have a boomer bile and a team mate has a molotov, as the author says keep it to that moment, if you can. You throw your boomer bile, then your team mate throws the molotov and don't waste your ammo shooting them (except for the hazmat zombies), jusl let them burn, then you can escape.

That part can be tricky but it's a lot easier when you know its coming. I'd recommend grabbing a boomer bile along the way and save it for that part...toss it down the hill towards the safe room when you first start running. Fortunately the rest of that chapter is easy and very short, so if you die during the panic event it only takes a couple minutes to get back.

is almost impossible to beat the part when you run to the safe room like 4 special infected spawn everytime, i have to kill almost all of them and yet more keep coming and then a tank came, and this is normal mode.

Excellent job on this campaign. Very well optimized, brushwork and other details were absolutely impressive, and the lighting looked amazing. Me and my friends loved this. :health:
