Fixing OMORI on macOS

Is OMORI crashing whenever you launch it on macOS? Here's a solution.

Introduction

On Macs with Apple Silicon, OMORI has a tendency to crash on startup.

This guide will show you how to install a fan-made patch by Snowp[github.com] to fix it.

Full credit for the patch goes to Snowp and the other contributors behind the project.

Installing The Patch

1. Go to https://github.com/SnowpMakes/omori-apple-silicon/releases, and download the .command file for the patcher.
   
   
2. Once the file has been downloaded, open the Terminal app and paste the following code exactly:
   chmod +x
   (make sure there's a space at the end!). Now, drag the file into the the Terminal window, then press the Enter key. It will look something like this:
   
   
3. Go back to the Finder, right-click the file you downloaded, and choose "Open..". If you get an alert to confirm that you want to open it, allow it.
   
   
4. The file should open a new Terminal window for the patcher. One the patcher is done, feel free to close the window and launch OMORI via Steam.

uh people i accidentally did this on an intel-based mac and it did not solve the problem i have (game not showing up on the screen even though it says its running.) plz help

I tried this and now my entire game has officially crashed :D worse than before

I installed the patcher but I couldn't go fullscreen in my game so I decided to try reinstalling the game. Now I keep getting an error message that says

"Profile error occurred

Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of NW.js

Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use some newer version of NW.js"

Is there any way to fix this? Or is there any way to uninstall the patcher?
