Description


Most information panel (the sidebar on the left) tooltips tell you nothing besides what the shortcut key is. As the panel is always visible, this is prime UI real estate!

This game has a lot of information to give you. Sometimes that information is buried under different windows, several layers of tooltips or in the 'current situation' drop-down list, which can feel cluttered to regularly get to the information you want.

This mod adds appropriate information to the information panel tooltips.
Specifically: Politics, Budget, Military, Diplomacy & Population.

This information exists elsewhere but is now much more conveniently also located in the panel tooltips.

I used to constantly open and close the politics window, checking my legitimacy to adjust my taxes if needed to ensure I stay in certain thresholds for the bonuses. No longer!

Additionally, the Population panel tooltip will tell you how many (if any) states in your country are in turmoil. This is something the game would not even warn you about.
Unfortunately though, due to limitations, it won't tell you which state.

Compatibility:
Compatible with anything that does not itself modify the improved tooltips.

I would strongly doubt this needs an update. But try it and let me know. Any issue would be minor, this is just a small localization mod and vanilla does nothing with these tooltips

This mod is incredibly lightweight. The data being shown is already being evaluated by the game and used in other vanilla tooltips. This mod just also has the panel button tooltips print it out too.

The mod seems nice, but does it have a performance cost or is the data evaluated only when the tooltips are opened?
