Stormworm is still Alive!
Content Incoming!
Stormworm, the first game by Studio Stormworm, was created as a spiritual successor to the time-honored classic game Snake, with a 3D twist.
In this game, you must maneuver your snake around a sphere through hazards and eat colored cubes to gain points to ultimately achieve the highest score you can!

Stormworm made its debut at PAX Prime in September 2014 as a mobile game. Due to Stomworm’s popularity, we have ported the game to PC and want to get Stormworm greenlit!

Stormworm has numerous power-ups
  • Halve - Cuts your snake in half, giving you points for each cube you lose.
  • Invert - Flip the planet inside out, giving you more collectables.
  • Enlarge - Enlarges the planet you are on, giving you more space to move around.
  • Smasher - Allows you to eat certain obstacles that show up on the planet.
  • Boost – Gives you a temporary speed boost, increasing score gained for a short time.
  • Plus a few more that are still in the works!

The more you play the game, the more you will unlock such as levels, power-ups, achievements and skins to change the pattern on your snake.

The controls are simple and easy to master, with just two buttons that control the snake.

PC Controls
  • A and D
  • Left and Right Arrows
  • Left and Right Mouse Clicks

Native Controller support
  • XBOX - Right Bumper and Left Bumper
  • PS3 - R1 and L1

We are still working on Stormworm and will be rolling out updates for the game over the next few months!
The game is currently availible on Google Play and will be availible on iOS in the near future.

“We set out to make a game that was fun, expanding on a concept that we knew people already enjoyed and overload it with awesome stuff. We really wanted crank up the juice and I think its at a level that we’re happy with.”
David Clouton, Developer of Stormworm – Gaming Cypher[]

"It is ideal for mobile devices thanks to its fast gameplay that is quite addicting, but I loved it even more on a PC. There was just something very fluid about the controls, and I found myself being mesmerized by Stormworm’s high-score challenge."
Matt Heywood, Entertainment Buddha[]

Awesome! I saw this on Greenlight and liked the concept, but of course I haven't heard anything for about 9 months now.

I hope to see some new things!

awesome work, but i think it would be best to give the option of removing the green background grid and add some customizing options for the user (contrast change, color scheme change, glowing levels for the margins). sorry for being pretentious, i know it takes a lot of effort for creating a game, i just like the images to be a bit softer, that's why i'm suggesting an addition rather than a permanent change. best of luck, i wish it'll be greenlit :D
