Honorable Giant - 1943

Description
The finally of The Great War without American eyes on Europe drew in a new age, one that would pull the world in a completely different direction, so what if the timeline continued, and we see the aftermath of it all.

In the heart of Europe, Germany saw a radical transformation. The idea of a unified Germany was shattered, replaced by various states and republics. Notably, the Weimar Republic emerged as a central entity, alongside Bavaria and the Confederation of the Rhine. Moreover, a mandate for the creation of a Polish state came into effect. Germany's once-dominant position in Europe had disintegrated into a patchwork of smaller political entities, setting the stage for a delicate balance of power.

Austria-Hungary fared no better, as it underwent near-complete dissolution into a series of smaller states. The sprawling empire that had once been a powerful player in European politics was now fragmented, and the destiny of its former territories hung in the balance.

In Russia, the Tsar's grip on the nation continued to weaken. In response to mounting pressures, the Russian government granted increased autonomy to various regions. Many speculated that it was only a matter of time before Russia had to make a pivotal choice – either reassert itself on the world stage or disintegrate into smaller, independent states.

South of the United States, Mexico faced its own turmoil. The aftermath of the conflict revealed evidence of atrocities and crimes committed by various factions. In the absence of a dominant force, multiple factions vied for control, each claiming to be the rightful government of Mexico. It seemed only a matter of time until one of these groups would successfully unite the country under its banner.

In Africa, the scars of the war were still fresh, and colonial powers found themselves under increasing pressure. Calls for freedom and greater representation echoed across the continent. Some regions saw violent clashes between nationalist militia groups and colonial authorities as the struggle for independence intensified.

Finally, in the United States, the conclusion of the Great War marked the end of a period of unprecedented economic prosperity. American industry had become one of, if not the largest industry in the world, and the nation earned the nickname "The Honorable Giant."
