To begin a match of Grimpath each player choses a warlord card to represent themselves on the battlefield.

Players will draw a hand of 7 cards from a 30 card deck, this is their warband. It's made up of minions to command, Relics to use, and Influence cards. On each of their own turns players will get to draw 1 card from their deck.

On your turn you'll recruit minions from your hand into play by spending a resource called influence. These cards appear both in front of you, but also as a fantasy miniature on the battlefield!

On your turn you may attack enemy minions that your miniatures are in range of and deal damage equal to your minions offense, reducing that much from an enemies health.

Damage is persistent, and when a minion is killed, you move its card from in front of you into your discard pile, and you'll also remove the miniature from the battlefield.

Players will use these miniatures, cards in their decks, and their warlords, in duels to the last warlord standing. Deal damage to the enemy warlord (player) and reduce them to 0 health, to win the game!

Like most TCG's each game will ramp up in intensity and should last you about 20-40 minuets depending on your skill level.
