[B42/41] BeNTheHunter's 1992 Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi Wagon

Description
---NOTICE 2025.01.18.: This mod has been updated to be compatible with both the Build 42 unstable branch and the the Build 41 main branch. If you're experiencing any bugs, please leave a comment in the comment section.---

In May 1992 after the success of the fifth generation Lancer, Mitsubishi Motors released a wagon type car which was based on the aforementioned Lancer sedan. On the Japanese market it would launch as the Mitsubishi Libero, while on the European and American markets it would launch as the Mitsubishi Lancer Wagon (or the Mitsubishi Lancer Kombi due to linguistical differences). Mitsubishi developed the Lancer Wagon to be a "multi-purpose town car", keeping the characteristics of the sedan (such as all the engine options except for the 1.6l V6), while making the trunk area much larger, thus making it fit more diverse roles. Due to changes in road safety regulations the Lancer Wagon was the first Mitsubishi car to come with a back fog lamp as standard and not as an optional extra.

Description
Just like in the sedan version of the mod, the car comes in 9 different colors, all of which are factory colors that were used by Mitsubishi in 1993. The wagon version also makes use of the in game random color selector (HSV) so you can occasionally find custom colored Lancers throughout the map. The car is ready to tow, or to be towed by other vehicles. With the increased trunk capacity, this car makes a truly reliable companion in the apocalypse, making you able to move a lot of stuff around with ease. I really hope it serves you well.

I can look into it, but to be honest I don't know where to start.

can you make this compatible with standardised vehicle upgrades so it can have armour added?

Uh the old Pajero, nice, thx for the quick answer, i'm already hyped for everything you bring out, i don't mind waiting for the Galant or an old L200, even if it is 1, 2 or even 6 months, i'm sure that it will come out great, no matter when it comes out.

The thought of adding a Galant has crossed my mind. However there are multiple projects that I'm in the middle of, like the 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero, or the 6th generation Lancer which was requested in the Sedan mod's comment section. However I won't have time to finish these until the holiday I'm affraid. (university exam period). I6632154j also requested I do some Proton cars, which are essentially just the Lancer GLXi body with some texture modifications. I do want to make the Galant though, and I could also try making the L200, but these will definitely take some time as I'll have to make them from scratch. So no promises, but I'm eager to do them

Found one of these in my world last night. Love it! Great job.

Thank you. The Proton cars' bodyshape looks about the same so they might only need texture edits. The Proton pick-up is needs a complete redo of the back however. The Mirage Lancer also needs a bit of model editing, but not that much. I'll see what I can do when I have the freetime

I6632154j you have quite the list there :-D. Could you show me some pictures of the different cars you would like to see maybe? For now my next project will be making a 91 Mitsubishi Pajero if my time allows but after that we'll see.
