Getting Started
Getting started with our Twitch integration for Survivor Mercs is super easy:

1. Install the game from your Steam library (duh!)

NOTE: the Twitch integration works with both the Survivor Mercs Demo and the full game!

2. Log into your Twitch account, set up your OBS, do everything you need to do in order to go live on Twitch

3. Start the game

4. Go to Settings -> Streaming

5. First "Link" your Twitch account to the game. You will be redirected through your browser. It will tell you when it successfully linked your Twitch.

6. Once your linked successfully, you can close the browser window and return to the game.

7. Enable "Streamer Features" and check that the little "live" icon appears at the bottom-center of the game screen

8. Start playing and have fun with your Twitch audience in chat

Using the Twitch Integration
Now that you're locked and loaded for some Twitch streaming, here's what you can currently do in the Twitch integration for Survivor Mercs:

NOTE: the feature list is growing over time. We are expanding the Twitch integration as we build new content and features for Survivor Mercs during Early Access

General Notes

Currently, the Twitch integration only uses Twitch chat features.

Random Encounters

Anybody in Twitch chat can be chosen randomly to appear as a mini-boss in the game.
Don't die to them, or they might rub it in your face for eternity 😆

Vote on Reinforcements & Upgrades

You can actively ask your Twitch chat to vote on your next choice for Mercs, Gear, or Upgrades.
The same polling feature can be used for level-up upgrade choices.

Once you click the "Ask Audience" button, a 15 second timer will appear.
During that countdown, chat can vote on the presented options with chat commands, e.g. !1 for the first option.

Don't worry, all options will be posted to chat as soon as you hit that poll button.
You will see the voting results in real-time in your game.
Of course, you can always select anything you want. Who said this is a democracy?

By the way: if chat votes for a re-roll and you don't have enough Blood Diamonds, the re-roll will be free. But please, don't beg 😊
