Description

The C160 Transall is a german-french cargo plane used for a variety of things, from troop transports to cargo airdrops and vehicle transports

I recommend using high physics
It may be hard to hit the buttons on the tilted instrument panels. You should always aim for the top part/corner of the buttons to be able to enable them

How to get inside:

Locate the key on the either side of the hull
Once enabled, an entrance ramp should open
You can close the ramp using the button on the inside

Startup Checklist:

Turn on both Batt 1 and Batt 2
Set lights as required
Set throttle to 5~ using up/down arrows
Enable fuel pump front & back for engine 1
Enable eng 1 Ignition
When the green light is blinking, enable ignition master (L Engine Fail will flash)
Repeat procedure for engine 2
Arm G1, G2, G3 and G4

Taxiing Checklist

Set lights as required
Set collective to forward
Disable parking brake
Gently throttle up until you start moving
Once outside the hangar, un-fold the wings with the button behind the copilot seat

Takeoff Checklist:

*VERY IMPORTANT*Enable artifical feedback for roll, yaw and pitch!
You need to be lined up with a runway to safely take off
Increase throttle to its maximum setting
Actively steering using left/right arrows is required to keep the plane lined up with the runway!
Press S until the nose starts to tilt up. Keep the nose at a steady angle and dont overturn it

Airdropping Cargo

Bottom ramp needs to be set to ramp flat (lowering it doesnt work, button needs to be enabled) and top ramp needs to be fully opened
With the plane comes a variety of different air droppable crates and a water tank for firefighting (Can also be used as an additional fuel tank). All of them are compatible with the C160s air dropping system. Simply use the selection grid to put a maximum of 4 different crates or 1 water tank inside the cargo bay. Make sure all of the hardpoint connectors line up.
You can also use the base plate of the cargo crates to make your own cargo!
In the cockpit you can select which cargo position to drop (1-4) or drop all at once
When dropping a selected cargo crate it will automatically make sure to drop the cargo in the sequence 1 - 2 -3 - 4 as to not create as blockage.
