╚═ Things To Know / Hints & Tips!

A SHORTER STEAM ACHIEVEMENT PLAYTHROUGH!

IF you want ALL STEAM Achievements you'll have to play through twice because of two certain achievements requiring you to get something from 1 of 2 stores, but you can't choose both on the same playthrough. I recommend that once you get to China, SAVE a game in a spare slot for you to come back to another time for the store item you never got the first time. These achievements are the ones that refer to the trading of Crystal Ores and the Mechanical Blueprints. Following MY guide takes you to the store in Chang'an City for the trades, so the 2nd time playing you'd go to Louyang Store instead for both trades.

PLEASE NOTE: This guide does it's best to get you STEAM Achievements BUT it in no way gets you 100% of them (I think). I have no plans to hunt them all down either and add them to this guide as writing this guide has been nothing but trouble for me really and I highly doubt I have enough room left for any additional info and pictures as I ran out of space and needed to delete another guide I was working on to get this guide to this point, Sorry !!

FAST AUTO WEAPON LEVELS!

There's a way to level weapon's proficiency faster but it requires you to have 'Li Jing' in your party and his skill: Sealing Stone learnt. You basically turn 1 monster to stone and have everyone attack that monster. Your hits will damage for 0 but that don't matter due to the weapon level exp is gained through per hit and not per battle. You must not kill the second monster or the battle will end. Keep the battle going for as long as you want by healing every now and then, then put it back on 'Auto Battle'.

NOTE: You can effectively teleport to Venice and use this method of levelling on a low level monster and have no damage done to you.


THE SECRET MERCHANT!

This guy is more trouble than he is worth to unlock, absolutely ridiculous the amount of stuff needed to be done to unlock him. You mess just 1 thing up AND you've had it, you won't unlock him. This 'Selda The Merchant' NPC appears in 'Chang'an West Market Street' walking about, so there's a LOT of things you must do to get him to sell his wares to you which are unique to him. He will also sell you STAT increasing items but ONLY the first time you open his store, any time after you can't buy them so you NEED to make sure you have over '1.6 mil' money to buy 99 of each the first time you open the store or else you won't get them again.


WARNING! You can break the game if you boost your stats over 999 or 9999 (can't remember which) so be careful when stat boosting your characters.

Here's everything (I think) you MUST DO to unlock this secret store..

• NEVER talk to 'Selda the Merchant' until you are sure you have done everything listed below. IF you have talked to him you will NOT unlock the store.
  
• Make sure you have done EVERY side-quest, puzzle, and NPC questions things.
  
• Get the 'Chinese Sword' and DO NOT ever trade it or upgrade it.
  
• DO NOT steal all items from the chest guarding side-quest, ONLY get the Emperor Helm.
  
• After talking to the Princess and she gets taken away to be sold as a slave, DO NOT go save her at the market, instead head to the 'Syrian Forest', give the NPC in here the healing item he requires, head back to Damascus and ask the same guy to save the Princess, then return back to the market to see him rescue the princess.
  
• Defeat Osman in the pot.
  
• In Baghdad, help the guard get the machete back, (you can find or buy the machete)
  
• On the way to Tianshan be sure to stop off and talk to Yuwen Dadi's family members first.
  
• Before meeting Xuanyuan the Immortal Sword, you have to talk to Taoist Yang Tongyou in Tianshan.
  
• Talk to Taoist Yang Tongyou again after returning to the real world.
  
• After all this you finally have to head back to Yuwen Dadi's family and speak to them again.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS SECRET TRADER!
In my walkthrough I actually don't upgrade the sword, BUT I wish i did now, so my advice would be to upgrade it to Veined for the later side-quest. The Secret Trader is absolutely pointless because of the stuff needed to do to activate him and the sacrifices needed to be made for later equipment. The use of the 'Chinese Sword' for example, if you turn it into 'Veined', later in the game you can trade that with a few other weapons that activates another side-quest where you hand over 2 more weapons, you'll get 10x pieces of nice armor, worthy of wearing end game. So for the sake of sacrificing a trader who sells stat potions only once for end game gear, it to me just don't seem worth it, and it's NOT like you can't farm stat giving items anyways. Just to note here too, there's NO Achievement to activate this Secret Trader either so yeah, up to you what you want to do.


STEAM'S MAGIC WEAPONS ACHIEVEMENT (SUTRAS)

IF you are going for the two Magic Weapon Achievements on STEAM, DO NOT trade the 'Sack of Universe' and 'Thunder Count's Hammer' in Dongping's Mansion to the Pot and Chest for two Character Skills. I'm saying this here because in my guide I trade them for the skills and you will actually NEED these two Sutras in your items along with the other 23 (25 total) for the achievements to activate once they are all collected and all 100% Proficiency. The backup save at the start of china i've suggested you make will also help with this situation too.

🧭 WALKTHROUGH! 🧭

The sections below is my text/picture guide for the game. I have set them out into regions to make things easier but are set in order as you play. I have put markers throughout the guide for easy finding, using CTRL+F you can search different things, so if you are looking for something specific you can use your own words or use the words... NPC, PUZZLE.

NPC - Will find all NPCs I cover that have side-quests.

PUZZLE - Will find all the sections where I cover a game's puzzle.

MONSTER TAMING - Make sure you TRY to get at least 5 cards of every tamable monster in the game, you'll need some of them for side-quests, others for crafting. NO matter what though, MAKE SURE you always keep 1 of each card. You should however be trying to 100% all monsters in the 'Monster Bestiary' any hows for the STEAM Achievements.

PROFICIENCY - You should also try and get every Magic Weapon (Sutra) to 100% Proficiency for another STEAM Achievement. This is not only for the achievement though, this also gives bonus stats to each weapon when they reach 100%. In the case of Sutras, stats raise as you'd expect except for the elemental stat boosting Sutras, those are given to you at full power even at 0% proficiency.

╚═ 749 AD Europe (Part 1)

VENICE (PIAZZA)
Items: 2x Headscarf, Bunch of Grapes, Antidote Herb, Plume Poppy's Root, 2x Unleavened Cake, Heartless Cat Glove, Lute, 2x Magic Leaf, Herb, Spirit World Indicator'.
Enemy: Merovingian Soldier.


After the cutscenes you are pushed into a fight against a guard in the BAR. He's pretty easy to kill, just use auto fight or manually kill him, he's not a boss. After the fight you leave the BAR and soon enough you have control, we are now to search for the captured people but first let's do some exploring for items and Gold.


Outside the BAR, search the pots just to the South-West of you for an 'Headscarf'. Head Left down the street and then North to see a red flower on your Left, pick it up for 'Bunch of Grapes'. Now head all the way South to find a green bush flashing on the left side of the grass, pick it up for a 'Antidote Herb'. Just a little ore South and on the Right side is a red flower, pick this up for the 'Plume Poppy's Root'.


Okay, head Up, then all the way Right to reach the Bell in the center of town, just to the North-East of this you can go between two houses, it leads to a man and a chest, open it for an 'Unleavened Cake'. Head back to the Bell and from behind it keep searching (or maybe ringing the bell) until you find the 'Heartless Cat Glove'. Now, from the Bell head South a little and on your Right you can head down an alley between two houses to reach a dock and two open houses, enter the bottom house first.


Search the chest just in front of you, near the picture, to find a 'Lute'. Speak to the woman then head upstairs. Search near the white giant pot for a 'Magic Leaf', then search the note on the table to your Right for a 'Herb'. Leave this house and enter the house just North of you. In here speak to 'Pandora', who is Fisherman Pyne's Wife, to learn about Pearls, this is important. Leave the house and head back to the bell at the center of town.

ABOVE NOTE: "in your section above you miss a step, you have to speak to Pyne in the street wearing a white vest outside of the ally that connects to his house first before his wife will sell anything" -Ekajaja

From the bell, head into the house just to the North-East of you, The Tribune's House. Open the chest to the North-East of the room for another 'Headscarf', and the chest on the far Left side of the room for another 'Magic Leaf'. Upstairs search the giant pot for an 'Unleavened Cake', and the small sack in the small room on the Right for a 'Spirit World Indicator', search the bookshelf just to your Right also for an 'Inspiriting Fruit'. Head back to the Bell.


From the Bell, enter the Equipment Store just to the Right, the red bricked houses. In here speak to the girl to learn of the sword her father makes. Now talk to the guy to buy new equipment, I recommend you buy the 'Court Sword', and the 'Armor and Helmet' and equip those straight away. You'll get a 'Longsword' later for free and the 'Wooden Bow' will be equipped on your first team member so don't waste Gold on those.


INFO: You can raise most weapon proficiency to 100% which I recommend doing for bonus stats when grinding, plus also there's two achievements to get, 1 is to have every magic weapon, and the other is to raise them all to 100% proficiency, keep this in mind.

Head back to the Bell and then head all the way North into The Cemetery.


VENICE (CEMETERY)
Items: 2x Herb, 100 Gold, Rose.
Enemy: None!

First examine the lone tombstone to the North-West, now.. there's two puzzles to do in this area for freebies.. you can read on for the answers or try do them yourself.


NPC 1: Talk to the woman at the grave, she asks you to help with her land sharing problem, the answer is: 7, 4, 2, 1. You'll get '2x Herb', and '100 Gold' for helping her.


PUZZLE 1: Examine the North most cross and it'll ask you to solve the dead guy's age after giving a bit of information about his life, the answer is: 84. The guy then tells you he left something at the Cathedral for you, examine the grave again though for a 'Rose'.


Okay, we have nothing else left to do in this area so head back South into town and back to the Bell.


VENICE (PIAZZA)
Items: Bunch of Grapes, Cotton Garment.
Enemy: None!

Okay, there's two people we can help in this area for a few free items and such so we are going to do that now.

NPC 2: Head Left from the bell past the Equipment Store, and talk to the guy in a grey tunic with a brown beard. He'll mention a love letter, and a tulip but he don't know what it means, so head Left into the next area (Venice: Residential Area) and speak to the girl with purple hair just over the bridge. She tells you the meaning and then head back to the guy and tell him. For your trouble you get a 'Bunch of Grapes'.


NPC 3: Head a little South down the path from the guy you just helped out to find a guy in a blue top walking back and forth, talk to him and he needs 'Rubies' to make rings but can't get any. So, the guy we need to talk to is the one by that chest we looted earlier between two houses near the bell, see the pictures below. Once you pay '80 Silver' for the 'Rubies' head back to the blue-topped guy and hand them over for the 'Cotton Garment'.


Next, head all the way North and enter the next screen, to The Cathedral.

╚═ 749 AD Europe (Part 2)

VENICE (CATHEDRAL)
Items: Copper Ring, 2x Herb.
Enemy: None!

So, in this new area search the nearby well for the 'Copper Ring', then pick up the orange flower just to the Left for a 'Herb'. Head all the way right and pick up the leaves just South of the boy for another 'Herb'. Head to the Cathedral's entrance and a scene plays out, speak to the guards after and you'll need to find another way in. Speak to the little kid on the Right to learn of a secret entrance into the cathedral.


Our next stop in the story is 'The Cemetery' BUT we still have the East side of town to explore first for items, Silver, and to help a couple of people. So exit to the South, head South then West over the bridge into 'The Residential' area of Venice.


VENICE (RESIDENTIAL) / WORLD MAP / FRANCIA'S PASS
Items: Snakeberry, Antidote Herb, Harvest Powder, 150 Silver, Herb, Magic Herb, Unleavened Cake.
Enemy: Wild Monkey, Slime, Dodo, Creeper, Venomous Toad, King Kong, Venomous Scorpion, Snake, Bear.

So let's search the outside area first, from the bridge head over it, and all the way West past the INN, pick up the red flower here for a 'Snakeberry'. Now head South-East and then South down the road, over a small bridge and search the barrel behind the tree just on the Left for an 'Antidote Herb'. Time to help another person.


NPC 4: Speak to the guy stood just by the bridge and he's trying to figure out something to do with his dog, help him by choosing the answer: One Minute and Fifteen Seconds. You'll receive a 'Harvest Powder' for your time.


NPC 5: In this same area, speak to the old man walking around near the East side and he'll ask you to fetch him a 'Pearl' for his wife. Head back to the central Bell and head South, speak to the guy walking around in a grey top with a brown beard, you'll ask about pearls. Next head between the two houses to where the dock is and two open house doors, enter the top house. Speak to 'Pandora' in here and she will sell you a 'Pearl' for '50 Silver'. Return back to the old guy and hand over the 'Pearl' for your money back and a 'Herb'.


Now, time for some shopping! Head into the Item Store and buy yourself a 'Leather Glove', and a 'Cap', equip these on yourself, don't forget to equip anything else also, such as the 'Copper Ring' you found in the well. Leave the store, head Left to the INN and enter. Head upstairs and enter the room with two people in, a scene plays out, leave the INN. Head South-East and then South to the little bridge but don't cross it.


You can see a few small boats linked up to each other, you can cross these. Enter the middle house, Jessica and Beth's House. There's nothing to do in here right now but the locked door will lead us somewhere a little later so remember this house, leave. Back outside, head Right across the boats and enter the next house.


NPC 6: Speak to the old man in here and he talks of his worry for his Nephew, then leave. Head out of Venice to the World Map. Just to the North-East of 'Venice' is a building, enter here. This is 'Francia's Pass', pick up the leaf just North a little for a 'Magic Leaf', and then talk to the guy stood on the Left side of the area, this is the Nephew of the guy we just spoke to. After talking to him, return to 'Venice' and speak to the old man again for '100 Silver'. Now return back to the guy at 'Francia's Pass', talk to him again to receive an 'Unleavened Cake'.


INFO: Now would be a good time to do some levelling on the World Map. When you defeat monsters they also have an amount for you to kill in the 'Mysteria' book in 'Systems'. These should all be collected and fought to 100% if you want all the STEAM achievements.

Any hows, when you are ready to continue head back to 'Venice' and head to 'The Cemetery'.


VENICE (CEMETERY)
Items: None!
Enemy: None!

Head to the solo cross at the North-West of the area and examine the cross, you find a lever that opens up a passage, SAVE, and then enter the dungeon.

╚═ 749 AD Europe (Part 3)

VENICE (SEWER)
Items: 20 Silver, Antidote Herb, 2x Herb, Longsword, Light-Seeking Rock, Bunch of Grapes, Sword of Sealing.
Enemy: Vampire Bat, Giant Frog, Venomous Spider, Zombie, Water Snake, Giant Moth, Wraith, Gnome, Amon (Boss).

Okay, this is a pretty simple cave system, follow it forward until you reach the first intersection, where you can head trough a door or carry on right, head through the door first to find a small cave with two items in.. '20 Silver' and an 'Antidote Herb' at the edge of the water in the grass. Leave the room and carry on through the cave to the Right. Head into the next area and follow the long corridor full of Zombie monsters into the next area. Open the chest for a 'Herb' and continue on to the next area.


You'll be outside but on a ledge, walk left slightly until you are behind the waterfall and search to find the 'Longsword', then exit out to the Right. In this next area head South slightly and pick up the 'Light-Seeking Rock' out of the chest. Exit to the South and follow the next room to the West and into the next room. Follow this long passage North-East and half way through it pick up the 'Herb' from the green plant then carry on forward and enter into the new area.


In this next area, open the chest just near the water for a 'Bunch of Grapes', then carry on to the floating sword, examine it to pick up the 'Sword of Sealing'. Moving on, you'll start off a cutscene that leads to your first major boss.


NAME: Amon
HP: ??? Weak: ???
Exp: 25 Silver: 20 W.Exp: 3

This boss is easy, a few hits and it'll go down without a problem, especially if you grinded a few levels when I suggested. There's no tactics for this one, just attack it a few times or put it on auto battle if you're too lazy to press a button a few times.

After the battle make your way North out the exit to appear at the back of 'The Cathedral' area.


VENICE (CATHEDRAL)
Items: 2x Magic Leaf, Antidote Herb, 3x Bunch of Grapes, Herb, Copper Ring, Chain Gloves, 2x Unleavened Cake, Healing Dose, 50 Silver, Leather Gloves.
Enemy: Clergy, Merovingian Soldier, Monk.

From the sewer steps, head North a little and pick up the grass for a free 'Magic Leaf', then pick up the orange flower to the Lower-Right before crossing the bridge for an 'Antidote Herb', then head to the Left side and pick up the flower here for a 'Bunch of Grapes'. Cross the bridge and pick up the orange flower for another free 'Herb'.


Head South-East and talk to the monk that's stood there minding his own business, he'll tell you that you need to ascend both towers and activate switches to reach the heretic prisoners. When your done, search in the tree to find a 'Copper Ring' then head South and then Left into the side of the tower to enter the cathedral.


Inside, head up the stairs you see just to the North of you. On this floor open t he chest for a 'Bunch of Grapes', then head up the stairs again, pull the lever here. If you get into a fight on this floor with a Clergy and Soldier and kill the soldier first you'll get a scene where you can let the clergy flee for a hint, all he tells you is about the two levers. Once the lever is pulled head back down to the ground floor.


Now head Left into the next area, head to the North-East section of this room and open the chest for a 'Magic Leaf', and then search the middle painting for a 'Bunch of Grapes'. In the center of the room head up onto the stage and search the red altar for the 'Chain Gloves'. On the Left side of this area search the middle large painting for an 'Unleavened Cake'. Now head South and exit out the Left side.


Open the chest for a 'Healing Dose', then head up the stairs to the top floor and pull the lever to open a hidden door somewhere. Head back to the central area where you found the 'Chain Gloves' and a door will have opened behind it now you've pulled the two levers, head down there into the cathedral's catacombs. Inside, kill the two guards and then search the table for the 'Unleavened Cake'.


Open the gate on the left Cell and loot the chest for '50 Silver', then open the right side gate for a cutscene. Loot the chest in their cell for the 'Leather Gloves' then go talk to the old guy in the other cell. Next head to the bucket of water in this room, fetch some water and take it back to him. A cutscene take place now where you get introduced to your first party member but you dont get her just yet.


Okay, after the scenes head South and exit out of the cathedral for another scene, then leave to the South into 'Venice - Piazza'.

╚═ 749 AD Europe (Part 4)

VENICE (CENTRAL)
Items: None!
Enemy: Meravingian Soldier, Miles (Boss).

INFO: It's worth pointing out here you can now equip your new party member with equipment and such that you may have, so do that now before moving on.

Head towards the Bell and you'll see people gathered there, talk to a few people and a scene takes place. After a lengthy chat with the Golden Knight heretic hunter, you are forced into battle.


NAME: Miles
HP: ??? Weak: ???
Exp: 18 Silver: 20 W.Exp: 20

Another easy fight. Take down the two soldiers first then the battle ends for a cutscene, then the battle with Miles starts. Use your best skills or just attack, he's a weakling.

After defeating Miles another scene takes place where a girl rushes in to help Miles. After the next scene takes place head to each person tied up on the stakes and free them by examining them. Another scene takes place where you all leave and you take 'Lillian' with you.



WORLD MAP / PIRATE SHIP CAVE / SPIRIT GARDEN
Items: Spirit Fusion Pot.
Enemy: Wild Monkey, Slime, Dodo, Creeper, Venomous Toad, King Kong, Venomous Scorpion, Snake, Bear.

From 'Venice' head directly South and cross the small bridge, then head East to the cave and enter it for another scene to take place. We now need to save the other accused heretics from a new location. Head up onto the deck of the boat you are on and a scene plays out where you are introduced to your hidden land within your family heirloom pot, learn all you can from your demon friend, get the 'Spirit Fusion Pot' off her then leave the pot and then leave the cave. Back on the 'World Map' head back to 'Venice'.


NOTE 1: You can now enter 'Venice' again to stock up on items, gear, or rest at the INN, I certainly recommend getting some gear for your partner if she hasn't got any stuff.

NOTE 2: You now have a new option in SYSTEM menu, Jiuli Bottle.. this will teleport you to the Spirit Garden whenever you like. For more information on this place read it's section further below in the 'section menu' on the right.


VENICE (CENTRAL)
Items: Emperor Boots.
Enemy: None!

So, the pub that you started the game in has now opened it's doors, so head there and enter, search the pot in the back room to find the 'Emperor Boots', equip these on 'Septem'. There's nothing else to do in 'Venice' so leave and then head North-West(ish) to find 'The Monastery', SAVE and then enter.

╚═ 749 AD Europe (Part 5)

THE MONASTERY
Items: Agave, 3x Healing Dose, 2x Soul Pill, Blank Talisman, 5x Spirit World Indicator, Secret Key, 3x Herb, 220 Silver, Tiger Fur Garment, Antidote Herb, Light-seeking Rock, Bunch of Grapes, Steel Boots, Magic Leaf, Hunting Bow, Court Sword, Sword of Sealing.
Enemy: Gnome, Centipede, Stony Fish, Water Ghost, Gusion, Venomous Toad, Vampire, Venomous Spider, Red-Tailed Scorpion

Time for quite a big dungeon to explore filled with treasure, puzzles.. and monsters! Head North-East to see a monk stood in some trees, pick up the flower nearby for an 'Agave'.


NPC 7: Talk to the monk and he will ask you who it was that betrayed Jesus, the answer is: Judas. For getting the answer correct you get - '2x Healing Dose'.


Now, enter the monastery and head Left to the chest but DO NOT examine it yet, this is a puzzle.

PUZZLE 2: When you examine the chest you can choose to listen to a tune that plays, the idea here is to replicate the tune by standing on the square tiles just near you and pressing the examine button, the floor will play a musical note sound. You need to choose which tiles plays the correct tune in order. (thanks to 莫古大哥 for giving me the idea to show the puzzle this way)
Chest 1 Solution: 533422 1234555 - Reward: Soul Pill.
Chest 2 Solution: 1155665 4433221 - Reward: Blank Talisman.


Once the puzzle is complete and you have the two chest items.. head all the way Right and enter the door to head into the monastery's catacombs. Head down the steps and into the next area, run across the planks in this room to the end and exit into the next area. This is a huge stone room with a few passageways to explore.


So, ignore the Left and Right paths, they are dead ends with nothing much there to see, so head North into the next section where a small scene plays out. Nicole gives you a clue, so examine the lower left pillar just to the Left of you and it's a secret demon store, make sure you at least buy 1 thing off this store to receive '5x Spirit World Indicator' items for free.


Now, follow the path to the Left from the store statue and speak to the woman in the last cell, she asks you to set them free and how to do it. Head back to the store statue and examine the top right statue to pull the lever and set them free, the answer is: VI VI VI. A scene takes place where they all gather around you, one of the woman will give you the 'Secret Key', we'll be using this soon enough for a small exploration area for treasure.


Okay, Follow the path North to reach two doors, take the right door first, head North and go through the next door. In this room it has paths Left, Right and Up.. plus the way you came, head Left first to find a 'Herb' in a chest. Then head all the way back Right to find '50 Silver' in another chest. Now head all the way North into a small room and open the chest to fight 'Gusion' after the fight you will obtain 'Tiger Fur Garment'.


Now head all the way back South a few rooms to the room with the two doors, and this time take the Left door. Head all the way North and open the chest just to your North-East for '20 Silver', and continue on to the Right to find another chest containing a 'Herb'. Now head all the way Left, open the chest for an 'Antidote Herb', then go through the door on the Left.


In this next area, head Left and open the chest for another 'Herb', then head all the way North into the next area. Head a little North and open the small chest for '50 Silver'. Follow the path North and then head Right, open the chest for a 'Healing Dose', the carry on Right into the next area. In here, open the chest for a 'Light-Seeking Rock'.


Head Right a bit further then North slightly to open another chest containing a 'Bunch of Grapes'. Carry on North to find ANOTHER bloody chest with 'Steel Boots' inside it, exit through the North door. Head North to the chest, open it for a 'Magic Leaf', head North through the door and open the chest in here for a fight against some monsters to receive 'Hunting Bow'.


Exit the room, head back South, then head West and exit out the door. Head all the way Left and open the chest for a 'Soul Pill'. Now follow the path North and outside. You come to a bridge, cross it and go down the steps to the chest for a 'Court Sword' and '100 Silver'. Next examine the floating sword for another 'Sword of Sealing', then SAVE. Now follow the path onward to reach your final destination, a scene takes place then a boss battle ensues.

Another easy fight, but some tactics required. Only 1 of the three is the real abbot, so you must manual fight and try attacking different ones to find the real one. A couple of hits and he should fall.

After the battle the Abbot eventually hands over what you came here for.. 'Chart', and the 'Hexagram'. You get an explanation about what the latter is and learn how to use 'Spirit Fusion Pot', see it's guide section about more on that. So there's nothing else left to do here now so return back to the bridge and go through the now open door near the exit and leave this dreaded place

╚═ 749 AD Europe (Part 6)

WORLD MAP / PIRATE SHIP CAVE

As you leave The Monastery a scene takes place, where 'Nicole' summons a hell beast and it nearly wipes out the entire area. Once you come too 'Miles' is gone and you can leave. On the World Map, head back to 'Venice' first before heading back to the 'Priate Ship Cave'.



VENICE (RESIDENTIAL) / JESSICA'S CELLAR
Items: 2x Blank Talisman, Healing Dose, Silver Necklace, Saturn Thorn Ring, Spirit World Indicator, Blank Talisman, Emperor Gloves.
Enemy: Red-Tailed Scorpion, Foul Spirit, Black Scorpion, Stony Fish, Stony Flying Fish, Wraith.

With 'Nicole' in our party she's able to understand dog-speak so there's actually a Side-Quest we can do here.

NPC 8: Head to the dogs stood around a streetlight and examine one, 'Nicole' translates. It seems you are being sent to the cemetery, so head there. In the cemetery, head to the rock at the right side of a cross and search it for '2x Blank Talisman', this ends the side-ques.


Next we are going to explore a cellar for some treasure, head back to the residential area, and walk along the few boats and enter 'Jessica's and Beth's House'. Walk up to the locked door and head on in, SAVE.


Head Right to the 4-way intersection, then head North into the next area. Follow the path North and then East into the next area. Now head Right to find a chest, open it for a 'Healing Dose'. Head back a little and follow the path South into the next area. Head down the wooden stairs and into the next area.


Head South and then East to find a chest with a 'Silver Necklace' in it. Now make your way all the way back to the 4-way intersection at the cellar's entrance hall. Head South and exit into the next area, head South to the 4-way intersection.. West and South are dead-ends so head East into the next area.


Head East and open the chest for the 'Saturn Thorn Ring', head back a little and then exit to the North into a room with two chest. Open the one chest for a 'Spirit World Indicator' and 'Blank Talisman', and in the other chest.. the 'Emperor Gloves', DO NOT throw these away, keep them like the 'Emperor Boots'. Now we are done here you can leave 'Venice' and head back to the 'Pirate Ship Cave'.



PIRATE SHIP CAVE / WORLD MAP

Once back in the cave head Right and up onto the ship, a scene plays out.. it seems two scouts have not returned so you need to go look for them. Leave the ship and the cave, then head all the way West to the cave in the mountain, SAVE and then enter.



MOSS ROCK CAVE
Items: Bunch of Grapes, Unleavened Cake, Magic Leaf, 40 Silver, Earthflame Jade, Herb, 3x Soul Pill, Light-Seeking Rock, Magic Leaf.
Enemy: Vampire, Snake, Foul Spirit, Ghoul, Red-Eared Bat, Wraith.

Once inside, head through the door and you'll notice your visibility ain't that great, which sucks for me writing this guide.. but not for you.. HA! From the open door head South-East to find a chest containing a 'Bunch of Grapes', return back to the open door. From here, head all the way North-West to find a small chest with an 'Unleavened Cake' inside it.


From the small chest head North-East through open door 2 and carry on North-East to a chest with a 'Magic Leaf' in. Head slightly back then North-West through open door 3, to another chest with '40 Silver' in. Follow the path North-East to a dead-end with a chest, open it for the 'Earthflame Jade' sutra. Make your way back to the cave entrance door 1 and from there follow the path North-East and go through the door into the next area.


n this new area head North-East to the first 4-way intersection, remember this place. To the South-East is a dead end, so first let's head North-West to find a chest containing a single 'Herb'. Now head back to the 4-way intersection and head North-East to the 2-way intersection, loot the small chest just o the Right of you for '3x Soul Pill'. Now head North-West to another 4-way intersection with the SAVE spot nearby.


SAVE then head South-West first into the small room for a chest containing a 'Light-Seeking Rock', head back to the save spot. From here, now head North-East up the long corridor to another single chest that has a 'Magic Leaf' in it. Head back and SAVE, then lastly head North-West up the stairs to find 2 men tied up, examine them to start off the scene and your final boss fight for Europe.

Just go all out on your skills and make use of your 'Ultimate' skills too. Solar Blinding on Septem works well here too, it blinds the Boss easily. Remember to heal if needed.

After the boss falls...head back to the SAVE spot, heal, SAVE, then leave the cave and head back to the 'Pirate Ship Cave' in the far East cave.


WARNING! Once you enter 'Pirate Ship Cave' you'll finish this chapter so do anything you need to finish off now!!

Inside the cave, head up onto the ship and a scene takes place, you'll eventually leave Venice and Europe and head out into the open ocean.

╚═ Naval Battlefield / The Island (Part 1)

ABOARD THE NAVAL SHIPS
Items: Healing Dose, Martial Bracelet, Snake Scale Garment, Iron Ring.
Enemy: Merovingian Soldier, Venice Navy.

WARNING! Make sure you get 100% on the Venice Navy kills in your 'Mysteria' book before talking to the guy in green mentioned below, because they stop attacking you after you talk to him and choose 'YES', choosing 'NO' they will still attack you but I am unsure if this changes anything in the future, I did test it up until you leave the boat and nothing seemed to change.

A scene plays out with Moray, once you have control head down the steps to the South and then head West across the plank to the next boat. Head up the steps and on this upper section open the chest for the 'Healing Dose'. Speak to the guard stood in front of the guy in green on the Right and a scene takes place, choose 'YES' when prompted to help him. Head back down the staris, back East across the plank, and head East across the next plank to the new boat.


On this boat, head to the Right side and then follow the path up North to the SAVE point, SAVE if you wish and heal. Now head to the Left side and then Down to the plank, cross it to the next boat and then head Left again and cross the next plank. On this new boat, head Left once again across another plank and then follow the path up North, West, all the way South, and cross the last plank to the final boat.


Okay, head up the plank, then up the stairs and down the stairs to the South of you to meet the cleric you seen in Venice at the heretic burning crowd as you left, a scene takes place. The boats have crashed, after your done talking you jump down off the boat, head South and follow the boat East past the rudder, then North between two boats, enter the Right boat from the entrance that's hidden from you, see picture.


Inside loot the two shining spots and the chest for.. 'Martial Bracelet', 'Snake Scale Garment', and an 'Iron Ring'. Now leave the boat, head South and exit the area to the World Map.

Okay, there's no battles out here for now, I think it might be a good idea to do the hidden cave NOW as it becomes locked a little later and you won't be able to get in once we hit Iceland. So, From the ships head North-East to find the hidden 'Cave', SAVE and then enter.



HIDDEN CAVE
Items: Light-Seeking Rock, 300 Silver, Silver Flute, Argus Card.
Enemy: Medusa, Odontotyrannus, Evil Ghost, Vampire King, Witch Cat,

NOTE 1: Make sure you capture monsters in here, you'll need them if you are going to fuse for better gear, and some have great stats. Also, be sure to 100% every monster in here for your book because you'll lose access a little later to them, any monster you 'Tame' will be 100% complete instantly so keep that in mind too.

NOTE 2: You can learn the skill 'Spiral Cut' off 'Witch Cat' if you have 'Blank Talisman' in your bag and the 'Vermilion Brush' Sutra equipped. Make sure to un-equip the blank talisman once you learn one, as you'll keep learning the skill and wasting blank talisman's if you only want to get one, I believe you should only have about 4/5 at this point if you haven't been making them.

So, from the entrance head North and open the chest for a 'Light-Seeking Rock', then carry on into the next area. Open the chest in here for '300 Silver' and then continue on into the next area. Follow the path Left and head into the next area again. Follow this next section around to the bottom and pick up the chest for a 'Silver Flute'. Exit to the South into a new area.


Head Right into the next area again and follow the straight path North-East into the next room. This is the end of the cave, so examine the chest and choose 'YES' as your answer. He requires that you bring him a Tamed 'Witch Cat' and 'Odontotyrannus', so go catch them and return. If you already have them then the chest will thank you and you will get a tamed 'Argus' card. Now head back to the World Map.


NOTE: If you previously tried to make the 'Argus' card you might have noticed it was locked, now you've done this part of the quest it is unlocked so you can make more if you wish using two 'Gnome' cards.

Okay, so next up is the long-ass dungeon that's MASSIVE! Looking at the castle on the map you can enter it from below, or the left side, each will take you to different sections of the castle for you to explore.. so get ready for a lot of text and pictures, here we go. Enter the castle from the front, moving up into it.

╚═ The Island (Part 2)

MOVING ISLAND CASTLE (FRONT)
Items: 3x Sword of Sealing, Bunch of Grapes, Ambiteri Crown, Shell Powder, 4x Herb, Corydalis Flower, Magic Powder, Soul Pill, Dissolution Compound, (Holy Pomegranate or Blackness Bow), Healing Dose, Light-Seeking Rock, Emperor Armor, 300 Gold.
Enemy: Norse Wolf, Vampire King, Evil Ghost, Agris, Graeae, Amon, Medusa, Cerberus, Centaur, Cornelius (BOSS).

F1: When you enter a scene plays out, eventually head North into the castle. Follow the corridor North-East, go through the door into the next area. The statue in front of you is an INN. This entire room is a trading post. Head Left and pull out the sword for the 'Sword of Sealing', and SAVE if you wish. Stand on each red mat and examining will open stores for you to buy new stuff, don't forget the purple tentacles too. When you're done, SAVE and head up the stairs on the left side.


F2: Okay, on this floor you might encounter 'Graeae' with a wolf, he'll ask you to give him a 'Light-Seeking Rock', if you do.. you'll receive 'Healing Dose' as a gift and they'll escape. I recommend you capture 'Graeae' instead, for fusion purposes. From the entrance head North into the next room, then head Left into another room and loot the chest for a 'Bunch of Grapes'. Now head back and continue North into the next room.


Head all the way North until you hit the wall and then continue West and follow this path all the way to the end room to find another chest containing the 'Ambiteri Crown'. Now head all the way back to this floors entrance room, and from there follow the path East to the 3-way intersection. Now head South to the 4-way intersection. Head South to outside and head Left to the chest and open it for a 'Shell Powder', now head back to the 4-way intersection you was just at.


Inside, head North and loot all the items here for '4x Herb' and a 'Corydalis Flower'. Now head back a little and follow the path back West then North to the intersection. Head all the way North and then East to a new floor.


NOTE: In this entire area you might come across a scene happen in battle where you meet Agris and Centaur, from that point you'll fight Centaur up here also. If you kill/tame Centaur first Agris will run from battle, what a chicken wuss!!


F3: On with exploring this floor, head North first for a 'Magic Powder', then head all the way South and then East to find a 'Soul Pill'. Now head back down to floor 2.


F2: From the stairs up to floor 3, head South and you'll see the path just outside the room going West, follow this path to find the heal/save spot, pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', then SAVE. Now follow the path North up to the 3rd floor once again.


F3: Follow the path to the 4-way intersection. First head West into a small room open the chest for 'Dissolution Compound', head back to the intersection. Head all the way North to a room with 3 chests in, SAVE!!!!! These 3 chest has 2 items or a fight but you can only get 1 randomly, you wont be able to open the other two, this is why you saved.. so you can reload if you don't get the best item..'Blackness Bow', but if you bought one in the castle's weapon store then i'd go for the 'Holy Pomegranate' as it's probably the rarer of the two at this point.


Okay head all the way back South to the original 4-way intersection and now head East and then North to find a chest in the corner of a room containing a 'Healing Dose'. Okay, head East and follow the path North up to the next floor.


F4, PUZZLE 3: Time for fun.. LOL! In this room you have a pillar just North of you which will reset the puzzle platforms, the buttons on some platforms will swing platforms around. SO there's 4 items to collect in this area each at.. North-East, North-West, South-West, and the final at the door to the North.

S-W Chest: Click the statue once, head Left, then Up, click the button, walk Left and press the next button, head to the South-East and open the chest for a 'Light-Seeking Rock', head back to the last switch you pressed but don't press it.


N-W Chest: Head Right 1 platform and press the button, cross the plank, press the button here next and then you can head Left to the next chest, open it for the 'Emperor Armor'. Head back 3 platforms, press the switch, cross the plank on the Left and press the switch, now head down to the pillar.


N-E Chest: Press the pillar switch to move the right plank to you, cross it, go up one platform and push the button, cross the plank to the Right, step on the switch to make a plank appear above. Go back 1 platform, press the switch, head North to the next switch, press it, head Right and pull the lever. Now head back Left, the South then back East to find the next lever, pull it. Now you can head to the North-East chest and open it for '300 Gold'. Head back 3 platforms and press the switch, walk Left, press the switch, walk North to the Save spot.. examine it for the 3rd 'Sword of Sealing' in this place. SAVE and then head on up the stairs.


F5: When you enter you see a slaughter, head North and a scene takes place. You are then thrust into a Boss Fight!

Don't waste time applying debuffs, just go all out, 'Ultimate - Aquiline Scar Sword' works well. If you have Septems - Stonefall, use that.. it does huge damage. Other than that any mid-level (not dark element) skill will work nicely too.

╚═ The Island (Part 3)

MOVING ISLAND CASTLE (FRONT) CONTINUED...
Items: Court Sword, Key, Shell Powder, Magic Powder, 300 Silver, Soul Pill, Arcane Stone.
Enemy: Agris, Graeae, Cerberus, Centaur, Witch Cat, Highland Skeleton.

After the battle another scene takes place, when you have control again.. search the cross on the floor for a 'Court Sword'. Now head up the stairs to the left and then follow the corridor South-West to get outside, head down these stairs and then leave to the World Map, re-enter the castle from the front.


Talk to the guy in green again, and another scene will take place, then the people enter the castle for safety and the guy in green wonders off South. IF you did not do the Hidden Cave, North-East of this castle i'd go do that now, as it'll get locked soon.. if you done it then let's continue on. Head back into the castle and back to the few stores room. The door to the North-East is now open, so SAVE and then enter it. Follow the path onward into an outside area to the side of the castle, a scene plays out.


During the second cutscene you'll gain a 'Key', and you'll be asked to do two tasks. Time to get these done.


TASK 1 - HUNT THE ARCANE STONE: Head back to the shops room, head up the Left stairs, then head Left and then South to outside the upper castle. Move Right to the locked door and you'll use the 'Key'. Inside, head Left first and open the chest for a 'Shell Powder'. Now head all the way Right and follow the path North to find another chest containing a 'Magic Powder'. Head back to the entrance area and then head North to the 1st 4-way intersection.


At the intersection head Right to find '300 Silver' in a chest. Head back to the intersection and head North to the 2nd 4-way intersection. Head all the way North first and open the chest for a 'Soul Pill', then head back to the intersection. Now follow the path West and then North into a room containing the task item - 'Arcane Stone', first you'll have to fight a 'Highland Skeleton' before gaining it. Now return back to the statues and speak to one of them for a scene and be given another task.


TASK 2 - HERO OF THE FUTURE: So, choose 'YES' to awaken your time travel skill, and you are sent to the past. You end up at the scene where Nicole summoned a hell beast to help with 'Miles' but things aren't quite the same and you'll end up fighting a boss.

Water and stone spells work best. Nicole's 'Frost Stone Fall' and Septem's 'Stonefall' are the best two skills you'll probably have at this point to use. Make sure to heal up with items or magic if need be.

After the battle, another scene takes place then you end up back in the proper time. Talk to one oft he statues to start another cutscene, eventually Nicole demands the statues move the island to Arabia. Another bunch of scenes take place and when you can control 'Septem' talk to the guy you are stood by three times to move the story on. Head back to the statues and talk to one of them, or Nicole, they'll send you to the area where you unlocked the door for 'Task 1' above.


At the area, head to the South wall and another scene plays out. Head down to the shop area, speak to 'Ardan', to receive the 'Crystal Mirror'. Head back up and outside, and to the South wall again and you'll see a huge iceberg crash into the island. Head back to the garden and speak to the statues again for another scene. Head to the shop area and you'll see a lot of 'Kelpy' freezing stuff, tame or kill them all and another scene will take place.



WORLD MAP

Head South-East and you'll see steps up onto the iceberg and a single ship at the beach, ignore the boat, there's nothign there at the moment, so enter the 'Iceburg'.

╚═ The Island (Part 4)

ICEBURG
Items: Magical Bread, 10x Herb, Blank Talisman, Water Orb, 2x Healing Dose, Spirit World Indicator, Light-Seeking Rock, Poseidon Statue.
Enemy: Water Leaper, Odontotyrannus, Undine, Snowball, Amphora Maid, Witch Cat.

Inside, head up the stairs, speak to the guard, then head North, enter the cave. Head North to the 1st 4-way junction. Ignore the West path for now, head North, East, then North into the cave to a chest, trade it '10x Herb' for a 'Magical Bread'. Head back South then East and open the chest for '10x Herb'. Head South and then East into the next cave area.


Head all the way East and South into a cave, open chest for a 'Blank Talisman'. Head back to the entrance of this area, head North. Just before the stairs move Left into the alcove and search for 'Water Orb', then head into the new cave. Head North then go West at the junction, follow it to a 'Healing Dose'. Head back and then go as far north into a cave to find a 'Spirit World Indicator'.


Now head all the way back South, back into the previous area, down the steps and South to the area exit on your Left, exit it. Head all the way West and enter the dark cave entrance. In this new area, head a little Left to the 4-way Intersection, first head West ad follow it to a chest containing another 'Healing Dose', now head back to the intersection.


Head North, ignore the path going west for now (where the save point is) and continue North through the cave door. Head North first, open the chest for the 'Light-Seeking Rock', then head back and go West, then North to find Lillian. Choose 'NO' to her answer and you'll do battle with an 'Amphora Maid', (you can sometimes get an 'Unleavened Cake' as a drop), if you choose 'YES' to help, you just do battle but 'Septem' is dead for the fight.


Head back to the SAVE point in the previous area, rest/save and then head west into the next area. In here, keep moving Left until you are attacked by a few 'Kelpy', after killing them head into the next area to the Left, then head back Right the way you just came. The statue has moved, a scene plays out and you eventually get the 'Poseidon Statue'. Head back to the castle's garden.



MOVING ISLAND CASTLE

Enemy: None!

Back at the garden, a scene plays out where you return 'Poseidon' to the other statues. After the cutscene the attack on the iceberg has opened a new path, so return back to the iceberg and enter.



ICEBURG
Items: Shell Powder, Fairy Wheat Flower, Soul Pill, Wistaria Leaf.
Enemy: Kelpy, Undine, Cyan Witch (BOSS).

Head North up the stairs, where the guard was is now a tunnel, enter it. In the new area a scene takes place. Head East then North to find a chest, open it for a 'Shell Powder'. Now head back and go West, then North into the next area. Follow the path into another new area. Move North and at this 3-Way Intersection head West then North to find a chest, spend '300 Silver' for the 'Fairy Wheat Flour'.


Head back to the 3-Way Intersection and carry on North then take the path East just before the North Door to find another chest containing a 'Soul Pill'. Head Back and then North into the next cave area. Pick up the leaves just North of you for the 'Wistaria Leaf', then head Left and then North. Just before the North door SAVE and then get ready for a Boss Fight in the next room. Enter the room, examine the top-right body and a scene plays out before the battle.


NAME: Cyan Witch
HP: ??? Weak: Fire and Ultimate Skills.
Exp: 400 Silver: 500 W.Exp: 20
Drops: ???

This battle takes time, Cyan has good defence so damage is low unless you use Fire skills. Dark element works okay, 'Ultimate Skill' attacks use those too. Keep on top of healing also, some of the boss skills hurt.

After the battle, you are given '5 MINUTES' to escape the 'Iceberg', if you fail then it's game over. I recommend just running from all the battles you encounter. Once outside you'll see survivors around the boat on a beach, after a lengthy scene you end up at the island's castle.



MOVING ISLAND CASTLE

Enemy: Widad (Ice Demon) (BOSS)

After a short scene you need to lead 'Widad' to the statue garden. When you enter the Right door a scene happens on the beach. At the statues another scene takes place and the 'Cyan Witch' takes her revenge on the statues. The witch moves over to 'Widad', possesses her, then attacks!

Again, use your strongest skills and stay healed, there's not much else I can say about this fight.

After battle, a scene takes place where 'Widad' offers to take you to 'Arabia', talk to her in the shop area when you want to leave, This means we are now done here.

╚═ Boat To Arabia / Beirut (Part 1)

BOAT TO ARABIA

During your travels a scene takes place aboard Widad's Ship. After Widad leaves you are suddenly pulled into the pot garden.. HA! Talk to 'Nicole' to move things on and then leave the garden. Another scene plays out on the boat and eventually you arrive in Beirut.



BEIRUT - DOCK
Items: Magic Leaf, Jade Ring.
Enemy: None!

After the scenes at the dock, you gain control of 'Widad', but not as a full party member yet, she just leads you around whilst 'Septem' and 'Nicole' does the fighting. So, first enter the lower house and loot the pot for a 'Magic Leaf'. Talk to 'Minna' in this house also to reveal to her the situation of her husband. Leave the house and enter the top house.


In here, the guy in orange is a weapon's dealer but only sells the 'Crescent Sword', buy one for 'Septem', it has great attack power. Do tthe NPC task below then leave the house and then leave Beirut - Docks to the South-East.

NPC 9: Talk to the guy in the store and he'll ask you for help in working out the days and hours he needs to meet his friend, Answer: Two Days and Two Hours. When answered correctly you'll receive 'Jade Ring'.



WORLD MAP

Enemy: Panther, Brown Bear, Red-Maned Ape, Tiger.

NOTE: In this portion of the World Map, it's a good area to level the 'Vermilion Brush' because none of the animals here have skills to learn, so you won't waste any 'Blank Talisman' items.

Head South and then cut through the mountain gap heading South-East to reach the new town.



DAMASCUS
Items: Chinese Sword, Lavender, Snakeberry, Emperor Helmet, (possibly Spring of Youth Water, Essence Potion, Magical Bread, and Chakra too), Magic Feather, Magic Crystal Ore A, Camel Boots.
Enemy: Osman (BOSS)

Okay, first thing to do is talk to the fat man in grey walking about a few times and buy the 'Chinese Sword' off him for '1500 Gold'. This sword can be sold back to him later on in Baghdad for '3000 Gold', BUT if you don't sell the sword back to him you can than later have someone change it into a more powerful weapon 'Veined' sword, in 'Chang'an'. There IS something else with this sword too, IF you don't sell it or upgrade it you will be able to complete a side-quest that requires this sword, BEST to save it for this side-quest.


In the 2nd house you can talk to the store owner and choose 'Have A Drink', he'll move out the way. You can then head down into the basement and buy 'Wine' off the woman there if you like, buy at least 1 for your item stock.


PUZZLE 4: Enter the 3rd house in town, Jeweller Store, and speak to the three women here, they need help on how to divide their Pearls. Answer: 9, 6, and 2. Once done you'll receive a 'Snakeberry' and 'Lavender', though the reward pop-up says 'Spices and Tea'.


Leave, ignore the next house to the Right unless you need items, it's an item/Accessory store, instead enter the next house after and DO NOT open the chests in here yet.


NOTE: It is entirely possible to get everything listed below BUT I am unsure if this effects the game in any way. To get everything wait for Ali to leave then open them all, eat all the items and equip the helm before he gets back. I'm an honest person so didn't do this myself, NOT like i'm not overpowered right now any hows.

NPC 10: Speak to Ali and he needs help with the chests, agree to stay and just stand still until he return. Once he's back he will allow you to choose 1 of the chests as a reward, here's the rewards from left to right..

• Far Left: Emperor Helmet. (Side-Quest Item, IMPORTANT!)
  
• Left Top:Spring of Youth Water. (Increases max Stamina by +5)
  
• Left Bottom: Essence Potion. (Recovers 100 HP and 50 Vitality)
  
• Middle Right: Magical Bread. (Increases max HP by +30)
  
• Far Right: Chakra (Recovers K.O. and restores 60% HP)

Take the 'Emperor Helmet', because this item is part of a larger side-quest and a requirement for it. The rest is nice but not worth losing the side-quest reward over. Once done, leave the house.


Okay, enter the last house with the star of David above the door and speak t o 'Rosinni', seems she's worried about someone in the forest to the East. Leave this house and head all the way back Right to the 1st house and take the road South into a new part of Damascus.


NPC 11: Enter the house on the Left of the ground floor and keep speaking to the girl in the corner until she freaks out and a scene plays out. When 'Ozman' is stunned search him for a 'Magic Feather'. After, enter your 'POT', head to #Ozman' and speak to him then the dog, then speak to 'Nicole' up on the roof. Talk to her again and she'll tell 'Borr' to sit, then speak to 'Ozman'. Now speak to 'Nicole' again and she freezes 'Borr'. Now head to the Left side of the garden and speak to 'Ozman'.


NAME: Ozman
HP: 400 Weak: Stone and Ultimate Skills.
Exp: 50 Silver: 100 W.Exp: 20
Drops: ???

Just use an Attack, Ultimate Skill or Stone magic to make quick work of him, he's not tough at all.

After you defeat him you return back to Ozman's house, talk to him and then leave. Okay, for this next part you should know that there's two ways to do this section, i'll list them both as 'NPC 12a' and 'NPC 12b' I recommend you do 'NPC 12b' because it won't require you to give up an item that you need to do another side-quest later.

╚═ Beirut (Part 2)

NPC 12a: There's a large building with a woman 'Gulu' stood outside, talk to her to start off the side-quest. After a chat she is arrested and to be sold in the slave market. Head back into the top area of Damascus and then head Right to find a group of people stood near steps. Talk to the guard at the top of the stairs to start of the auction.


NOTE: IF you did not get the 'Chinese Sword' off the guy at the entrance.. at the end of this auction you can talk to the auction guy and buy the sword off him instead.

So, once the auction is over, head back to the South part of Damascus and enter the house nearest to the 3 guards at the end of the area. Inside, talk to the 'Lia' in the green clothes and you ask her to release the Princess. Lia says she will if you give her a 'Sword of Sealing', agree and the Princess thanks you and runs out.


NPC 12b: There's a large building with a woman 'Gulu' stood outside, talk to her to start off the side-quest. After a chat she is arrested and to be sold in the slave market, leave Damascus, head South across the little bridge and then West into a forest. In the forest, (ignore the chests for now as we'll return here in a few minutes), follow the path onward to find a guy stood in the forest with a blue top, talk to him a few times and give him a 'Healing Dose', he will give you the 'Magic Crystal Ore A'. HE then runs off.


Now return back to 'Damascus' and head Right to the crowd of people stood near steps. Talk to the guy at the top of the steps to start off the slave auction scenes. During these scenes the guy you helped in the forest turns up and saves the Princess. Talk to the Princess once everyone leaves and they thank you for helping, the Prince then gifts you the 'Camel Booots'.


Now you have done that NPC side-quest, (hopefully 'NPC 12b'), we are free to continue on with the journey. Leave 'Damascus' and head back to the forest.


SYRIA - FOREST
Items: Shell Powder, Blank Talisman, Magic Leaf.
Enemy: Tiger, Red-mained Ape, Silverback Gorilla, Panther.

Follow the path and open the first chest you see for a 'Shell Powder', just a little further on you can find a chest behind the trees for a 'Blank Talisman', see pictures below. Carry on Right and then North for the last chest in this area, 'Magic Leaf'. Carry on Right to exit out of the forest.



WORLD MAP

Out this side of the forest, head North to see a lone house near a mountain, this is your next stop.



MASTER KENDHI'S ESTATE

Enemy: None!

When you enter a scene plays out, once you have control of 'Septem' search the tree to the top-left for a 'Sea Mango'. Enter the large middle door and a scene plays out, turn out the person you're here to see died a while ago. When everyone leaves, talk to the kid twice to start a cutscene that shows you studying and time passing by.


When you can, head outside for another scene. After the Guards move into the house.. head on in after them, another scene plays out. Eventually the kid joins your party to help you find the next location found in the desert. Head outside and speak to 'Sashi', choosing 'NO' moves the story on, examine the camels and you'll leave the estate.

Enter the desert and head South-East to find the abandoned town. SAVE and then enter.

TADMUR

Enemy: Mummy, Witch Bat, Agassiou, Salamander, Cannibal Flower, Amphora Maid, Undine, Snowball, Fiery Toad, Flamehead, Red-Tailed Scorpion, Black Centipede, Mummy King, Atar, Monkey Golem (BOSS).

A scene takes place as soon as you enter, after head to the back of the building on the right side to find a 'Magic Powder', now enter the building. A scene plays out, now pull the lever to your Right in this room too and then exit North. Head onward and in the smallish room another scene takes place with some guards and the leader. Press the yellow tile switch on the one wall and the door forward will open, head on through.


PUZZLE 5: In the next room, listen to the explanation of the zodiac signs by choosing 'YES'. The idea here is to light 3 symbols that share the same element, Fire, Earth, Air, Water. This has to be done once for each element. When it is correct one of the four doors in the next room will open. I think i'm going to give the answer to all 4 doors and open them all first, this'll be easier. So just light the buttons in the numbered order in the picture below. When you light 3 symbols you'll need to press it a 4th time to clear the wall after the door has opened in the next room to carry on.

Once done and enter the next room. You'll see 4 paths to follow, N-E, N-W, S-W, and S-E. The idea here now is to enter the four rooms and push 4 yellow brick switches to open the door in this room's middle pillar. So, head into the South-West room first, loot the two chests for 'Essence Potion', and a 'Heart Pill'. Push the yellow brick switch on the wall and then go back to the middle room.


Now head into the North-West room, head up the middle path to reach the only chest for a 'Snakeberry', go back and take the right path up to the brick switch, press it then head back to the central room area.


Next head into the North-East room, Follow the path Left and then Up to find the chest with a 'Light-Seeking Rock' then head into the middle of the room to find the switch, press it then head back to the centre pillar room.


Next, the final room, head into the South-East door. Open the chest in the room for a 'Boomerang' and then press the switch on the nearby wall, Head back into the central room and you'll see the door open, a scene plays out, SAVE and head on in.


In this next area, head down the steps and into the door. In this large room search for 3 chests containing.. 'Burglar Mask', 'Emerald Gold Hairpin', and 'Shell Powder'. Hit all three wall tile switches and then leave the room. Follow the steps around and enter the door shown in the 6th picture below.


Loot the chest in this small room for the 'Eaglearrow Helmet' then head back and exit out the South-West door. Open the chest to your North-West for another 'Shell Powder', and run though the South-West wall and then head North-West to find a room with a 'Royal Jelly' in a chest. Follow the area onward to find a chest containing '400 Silver', then carry on into the next area.


Head North reading the two graves on the way, and then at the end a scene takes place. Head through the door where the guards went and you get locked in. After the scenes, examine the sarcophagus up on the altar for another scene. Once you have control, head North-East up the corridor and exit into the new area.


In this new area, head North-East and pick up the 'Sword of Sealing' from the SAVE point, then SAVE. Search this huge room for a 'Soul Pill' in the chest. Head South-West back to the little alcove and go through the wall and then North-West to a hidden room with a chest in, open it for the 'Spring of Youth Water'. Head back to the SAVE point and head North-East to the exit, head on through it.


Outside, a scene takes place with 'Nicole' and 'Kama' arguing over 'Septem', eventually you have to take on the area's Boss.


NAME: Monkey Golem
HP: ??? Weak: Wind and Thunder
Exp: 600 Silver: 1000 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Magic Water

Use your best Thunder and Wind skills on Kama and Nicole, and have Septem attack normally and heal when it's needed. This boss can hit hard at times so be prepared to heal using two people.

After battle a scene takes place where 'Kama' asks if she can join you on your journey, and you agree to have her along. Leave the area to the South-West and head to the camels, a scene takes place where you see a shocking scene in the desert. When you can.. head Left and talk to the guard still alive, then talk to the little kid with you to move to the next dungeon area.

╚═ Beirut (Part 4)

HADES
Items: Evil Blood Gown, Devil Flute, 500 Silver, Magic Powder, 2x Shell Powder, Cuscuta Bud, Ivory Earrings, Cloud Picker, Magic Water, Soul Pill, Sword of Sealing.
Enemy: Witch Cat, Mummy, Mummy King, Vampire Lord, Hell Ghost, Murloc, Flamehead, Fiery Toad, Atar, Corneilus (BOSS), Dread King(BOSS).

When you enter the portal a scene plays out, once you have control head Left to the pile of bones and loot them for the 'Evil Blood Gown', then head Right to the Save Spot, SAVE. Head up the stairs and you'll have to fight a 'Witch Cat', kill it. After, a scene plays out then you can leave through the door to you North-East.


Next, head all the way North and search the wall for a 'Devil Flute'. Head back slightly and go West to the end, open the chest for '300 Silver'. Head North and open the chest here for 'Magic Powder'. Head back and all the way East to find s chest with a 'Shell Powder' in it. Now follow the nearby path North and then all the way West to another chest, 'Shell Powder'.


Now head North and then all the way east (ignoring the 1st path North) and take the 2nd path North to find a chest, 'Cuscuta Bud'. Now head back South, West, North, and then head West to find another chest, 'Ivory Earrings'. From this chest head West then North to find the next chest, it IS a trap (100 damage) but not sure if it effects anything if you leave it. Head back South then head West through the door into the next area of Hades.


In the next area a scene takes place, you run into 'Cornelius'. you'll end up waking up in a cell. Talk to the cat once you have control and you'll end up back in the past again. After the few scenes you'll return back to your time and be freed by 'Widad'. She joins you once again, SAVE and head South out the door.


Head South and then East and open the mini chest for the 'Cloud Picker', continue as far East as you can and go North to find another chest, 'Magic Water'. Head back South, West, then South, follow this path to the end until you can go North or South, head North to the chest first for '200 Silver'. Now head all the way South to the 3-way junction (North, South, or East), South leads you to the entrance of Hades, head East.


Pick up the chest as you head East for the 'Soul Pill'. Carry on and as you head North you'll enter into the 'Underworld - Commercial Street (C.Stores). First get the 'Sword of Sealing' from the Save Spot, then SAVE. The three cloaked guys are stores and an INN guy of the far Right. When you are ready, head North two screens to reach the end and two boss fights.


NAME: Cornelius
HP: ?? Weak: ??
Exp: ?? Silver: ?? W.Exp: ??
Drops: Nothing!

He's easy, just use regular attacks and save your 'Ultimate Skills' for the 2nd boss. Heal when you need it also.


When you've damaged Cornelius a certain amount he'll take a moment and transform into his true being, Dread King!

NAME: Dread King
HP: ??? Weak: Earth, Thunder.
Exp: 1000 Silver: 1450 W.Exp: 40
Drops: ??

Again.. easy, just use any saved 'Ultimate Skills' and your best magic skills. If you need to heal them use items of your healing assist spells. Eventually he'll fall.


After the battle Dread King has his dying speech and the scene plays out. When you have control, step onto the circle and examine it to be teleported out of Hades.



DAMASCUS / DAMASCUS MOSQUE
Items: None!
Enemy: None!

You're in the Mosque in Damascus, everyone's dead. Outside the Mosque the streets seem empty, Talk to the guy in blue just under the arch and he'll head home, follow him into the house below and talk to him again, they will decide to leave Damascus. Head North into the upper section of Damascuss and hten head all the way Right for a cutscene, head up the stairs.



DAMASCUS PALACE
Items: Shell Powder, 800 Silver, Cloud Picker, 4x Healing Dose, Magic Crystal Ore B, Rain Cloud Bracer, Magic Water, Magic Powder, Mana Absorbing Pot, Sword of Sealing.
Enemy: Clockwork Shadow Mantis Hybrid, Clockwork Tri-monster, Umayyad Caliphate Soldier, Tang Army Infantry.

After the short scene, head on up the stairs and into the Palace. Another scene plays out where you are introduced to 'Master Hui-Yan', then a battle ensues.


NAME: Master Yui-Han
HP: ?? Weak: ??
Exp: ?? Silver: ?? W.Exp: ??
Drops: Nothing!

It seems you can't hit the guy at all, after a few Attacks a scene plays out.

The battle ends with him taking no damage, after a short scene another boss turns up and attacks.


NAME: Clockwork Shadow Mantis Hybrid
HP: ?? Weak: Earth Skills
Exp: 160 Silver: 500 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Nothing!

This boss has nothing to steal. He's pretty easy but usually hits multiple times. Just use your best skills, heal if need be, and it'll eventually fall.

After the battle another scene takes place, head through the door to the North-East and then head East for yet another scene. A battle ensues and then you're drawn into one yourself.

╚═ Beirut (Part 5)

NAME: Clockwork Shadow Mantis Hybrid
HP: ?? Weak: Earth and Thunder Skills
Exp: 730 Silver: 800 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Nothing!

This boss hits HARD! and has nothing to steal. Your best bet for survival here is have Nicole heal with her 500 HP spell, have then Septem and Kama go all out with their best skills and Ultimates.

After the battle, the bad guy will do a runner 'cos he shat his pants at your awesome power. After the short chat with the others.. head Right and into the next area. This is the dungeon portion of the palace so here we go. Head Up to the 1st 4-way intersection, head Left first to find a chest containing a 'Shell Powder', head back to the intersection and head North to the 2nd 4-way intersection.


At this 2nd intersection head Right first and collect the nearby chest for the '300 Silver', and continue on to the end to find another chest with a 'Cloud Picker' in it. Now head back to the intersection and head all the way Left to find a chest at the end near where the path heads North, open it for the 'Healing Dose', then head North and open the chest for another 'Healing Dose'. Carry on Left and at the end open the two chests for 'Magic Crystal Ore B', and the hidden one behind the wall for the 'Rain Cloud Bracer'. Return to the intersection.


From here, head North to the chest, open it for a 'Healing Dose', then carry on to the 3rd 3-way intersection. Head Left first and at the end open the chest for a 'Magic Water' and then go back to the intersection. Now head Right, open the chest on your way for a 'Magic Powder', and then head North to the 4th intersection.


Head Right first and search the wall at the end before going south to find a 'Mana Absorbing Pot', at the South end of this path open the chest for '500 Silver', head back to the intersection. Now head Left and moving slightly North you can pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', and then make sure to SAVE. Head North for a lengthy scene, then make your way back out.


Outside, a soldier walks up the steps and greets you, HAIL!



MASTER KENDHI'S ESTATE
Items: None!
Enemy: Widad.

Eventually a cutscene takes place over the span of a year, where you train and 'Septem' learns a new skill. Once you gain control again, head down to the outside courtyard and speak to 'Widad' for another scene, a battle ensues between you and Widad, you end up defeating her and your free to leave the country.

Exp: 300 Silver: 100 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Nothing!

She's easy, just use your best skills and Ultimates to end things quickly, you probably won't even need to heal either.

After the battle, a small scene takes place and you eventually leave for the next part of your journey to China.

Okay, cross the desert to the North-East and exit out to the East, a small scene plays that shows you crossing into Mesopotamia.

╚═ Mesopotamia (Part 1)

WORLD MAP

When you first cross into this region a scene plays out, and with the crossing comes a whole new slew of monsters in some areas but not on the World Map, which don't make sense from a developed point of view. So, head South and enter the tents.



BAGHDAD
Items: 200 Silver, 2x Scimitar, 100 Silver, Crescent Sword, (3000 Silver if you sell the Chinese Sword),
Enemy: None!

Enter the big white house (INN) just by you at the entrance, talk to the girl near the counter to learn of the area's affairs, this will also give you a discounted price at the INN. Once done, leave the INN. Back outside talk to the guy to the left in the stall, you might want to buy some 'Hearth Figure' items, these will allow you to fast travel to other regions and locations you've visited before. MAKE SURE you buy 1x 'Tanpura', you'll need this later as a side-quest item. Carrying on Left, the next two tent guys are equipment sellers, buy what you need, Weapons first before Armor.


Carry on Left and enter the first tent you see, inside talk to the soldier for an NPC side-quest.


NPC 13: So, it seems some thief stole a 'Scimitar' off the soldier, choose 'YES' when prompted and you'll gain '200 Silver', to buy a 'Scimitar' at the weapon store. SO! there's couple ways to complete this side-quest..

• 1. If you have a 'Scimitar' in your bag already, just talk to the soldier and hand it over to him. This will end the side-quest and you receive: '100 Silver'.

• 2. If you decide to find the original scimitar, a scene plays out outside, follow the kid to the Right, at the gate near the two camels search in the grass for the 'Scimitar'. Head back to the soldier in the tents and you'll receive: '100 Silver'.

• 3. Do the quest properly, buy a 'Scimitar' from the store.

• 4. Head to the last but 1 tent and search the back rack for a 'Scimitar' then give that to the guy for the reward of: '100 Silver'.

Done? Leave the tent and enter the next tent on the Left. In here talk to the Commander a few times and watch 'Ada' the soldier mess up. Outside, ignore the next tent to the Left between the two guards, that's moving the story on which we don't want to do just yet. Enter the 4th Tent to the Left, search the shelf for a 'Crescent Sword' then talk to the guy in this same tent for a puzzle.


PUZZLE 6: The old guy in this tent will ask a question about the rivers of this region. Answer: Ganges. You'll receive: 'Talon Boots'.


Outside the old man's tent, head Left into the next tent, if you speak to the guy in grey just outside it.. DO NOT sell him back the sword he sold you in Damascus. Inside the tent there's 4 guys who are waiting for a tournament, and they do nothing but ♥♥♥♥♥ about each other. In the next tent to the Left search the rack for a 'Scimitar', if you didn't pick it up for the 'NPC 13 Side-Quest'. In the last tent on the Left, there's nothing to do but laugh at two drunk soldier.


Okay, try to now enter the middle tent guarded by two guards, it seems a banquet is taking place and you're not allowed in. So, you have two options here.. stand still for 5 minutes then get a scene where you'll be sent to the cave to the North-East for an item, OR.. we can go explore the dungeon right now.. let's go explore a new dungeon for items. Leave 'Baghdad' and head out to the 'World Map' and enter the volcano looking place just to the North-East.



FLAME LABYRINTH
Items: Golden Salve, Magic Water, 2x Shell Powder, 2x Harvest Powder, Holy Pomegranate, Chakra, Dulcet Fruit, Magical Bread, Asura's Anvil.
Enemy: Frosty Jade, Synna, Kutah, Chikk, Fiery Toad, Salamander, Gallu (BOSS).

At the entrance you start at the 1st 4-way intersection, South leads out so first head all the way West to the wall and then North to the 2nd 4-way intersection, pick up the chest on the West side for a 'Golden Salve'. Now take the path North and then the path East to find a chest with a 'Magic Water'. Now head back to the entrance but don't leave.


Now head all the way East to the end and open the chest for a 'Shell Powder', head back slightly and take the North path to the 3rd 4-way intersection. North and West are dead ends, head East, North, then West to reach another chest, 'Harvest Powder'. Head North to the 4th 4-way intersection, West is a dead end, head East first to find two chests, 'Harvest Powder', and 'Holy Pomegranate', then head back to the 4th intersection.


From the 4th 4-way Intersection head North and then follow the path as far West as you can until you hit the wall, open the two chests here for 'Chakra' and the 'Shell Powder'. Now head South, then East to the next chest and open it for 'Dulcet Fruit'. Head South and the wall you hit has a chest behind it (see picture) loot it for 'Magical Bread'. From there, heal up, SAVE, and then head South to the area's Boss, which is inside the chest.


NAME: Gallu
HP: 2300 Weak: ??
Exp: 500 Silver: 800 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Nothing!

This boss hits hard. Make use of your Ultimate Skills and best skills, also keep on top of healing if needed. You can also steal a 'Magic Powder' off this guy too.


After the battle, you gain 'Asura's Anvil'. When you're ready, make your back through the dungeon and head back to 'Baghdad'.

╚═ Mesopotamia (Part 2)

BAGHDAD
Items: None!
Enemy: Abbasid Caliphate Soldier.

Head to the tent guarded by two soldiers and try to enter it again, a scene plays out, then enter the tent. You pass to another area, after the scene move North and the guard will ask for you to get the 'Ashura's Anvil', we got it already so you'll move on into the tent to meet the Prince. The Prince then tests your metal against four of his guards. Don;t bother trying to steal off them, they hold nothing.


After the battle, Miles turns up, enter the North tent and another scene takes place. Eventually you leave the tent and on the way out your are stopped and thrown into battle.


NAME: Miles, 4x Abbasid Caliphate Soldier.
HP: ?? Weak: ??
Exp: ??? Silver: ??? W.Exp: ??
Drops: Nothing!

Don't waste time stealing, just kill one of the Soldiers and Miles wipes you out in 1 hit. This is a battle you are meant to lose. You then end up waking up at some oasis area.




SMALL OASIS
Items: None!
Enemy: None!

Some time has passed and you awake in an oasis, seems you were rescued and at the same time captured the Prince. Some people turn up and say there's some type of ghost town appeared on the 'Sik Road', and leave. You decide this is the next stop. Leave the oasis.



WORLD MAP / TOSHKENT
Items: None!
Enemy: None!

Enter the area just to the Right of the Oasis, and carry on moving Right, you'll eventually start off a cutscene. It seems it IS 'Toshkent', the Prince's hometown, head Right further to enter it. Run to the end of the Right side of town and a scene plays out. Eventually, SAVE, then head to the nearby well and you'll head down to the next dungeon area.



TOSHKENT SEWER
Items: 2x Harvest Powder, Magic Water, 2x Shell Powder, 2x Golden Salve, Healing Dose, Miraculous Berry, Sword of Sealing.
Floating Items: Magic Crystal Ore C, Fairy Wheat Flower, Dulcet Fruit.
Enemy: Synna, Kutah, Frosty Jade, Crocodile,

NOTE: Keep an eye out for floating chests in the water, i'll try and notify you of areas for floating chests, if it's not there just wait a little while for it to float around to you. MAKE SURE you get the 'Magic Crystal Ore C', it's needed for a side-quest.

This place is a huge maze, i'll try my best to lead you. Head East, cross the bridge South, then head West, cross the bridge North, head Right and open the chest for a 'Harvest Powder'. Head back West and head North to another chest containing a 'Magic Water'. You might get a floating chest around here too with 'Dulcet Fruit' in it. Head back to the 1st bridge you crossed, from there head South, then West to another chest, 'Shell Powder'. You can find the floating chest around here containing a 'Magic Crystal Ore C'.


Head back East,cross the bridge East, head North to another chest containing 'Golden Salve'. Okay, follow this side path all the way South, then West, South, East, cross the bridge going East, then head South, cross the bridge going West and open the chest here too but its a trap, (100 dmg), you might see a floating chest around in this area containing 'Fairy Wheat Flower'. From the trap chest head North, West, South, West, North, West, South, cross the bridge West, North, cross the bridge going North, then head East to the chest for 'Harvest Powder'.


Head back across the bridge then carry on West, then South to a chest, 'Shell Powder', get the next chest on the opposite side for a 'Healing Dose'. Head North, cross the bridge going North then head East to the chest to open it for another 'Golden Salve'. Now head all the way North, East, then South and open the trap chest, (200 dmg). REMEMBER THIS CHEST!


OOPS! ! missed a chest.. MY BAD! Luckily we can escape battles. Head back North, West, South, cross the bridge going South, cross the bridge going East, carry on East, cross the next bridge going East, head North, East, cross the fixed bridge going North near the broke bridge, head East, then North to the top, head West, cross the bridge going North head East, then North to the chest, it has some monsters in it. Now return back to the 2nd trap chest I said to remember above.


From that trap chest, head North, cross the bridge, head West first to open a chest containing a 'Miraculous Berry' in it. Head back East, then go North and pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', then SAVE.


TIP: This is a good place to level up a little, you can use the SAVE point to heal and save your progress.

Head East, cross the bridge North, talk to the Prince. After a lengthy scene you are pushed into a Boss Battle.


NAME: Mirage King

Don't bother stealing, start this fight with 'Ultimate Skills', this guy hits HARD, and you'll definitely want to heal. He can double strike with 400+ dmg each hit.


When the boss has had enough a scene happens. When you have control, leave the area by going West and enter the Oasis for a departure scene.

After a lengthy cutscene, head East and head in between the two mountains to enter a new area.




TALAS

After a brief chat with a guard, head North-East and a shocking scene takes place. When you have control head further North-East for yet another scene with a group of people. Soon enough another Boss fight ensues.

TALAS MOUNTAIN PASS
Items: 2x Magic Leaf, Antidote Herb, 3x Dulcet Fruit, Sword of Sealing, 2x Keel Wood, Blank Talisman, Mount Jade Stringy Stonecrop, Cedar Leaf, Herb.
Enemy: Abbasid Caliphate Soldier.

On the mountain a scene takes place, the Master leaves you, and then you're next task is to make it over the mountain. From this entrance platform, head up the steps cross the bridge East, go down the steps and pick up the flashing herb for a 'Magic Leaf'. Head Up two sets of stairs, cross the bridge going East, then down the long stairs and pick up the flashing flower for an 'Antidote Herb'. Head up two flights of stairs, head East across the bridge, down the stairs and head East to the end to find a 'Dulcet Fruit'. Return back to the entrance platform.


Head around to the SAVE point and pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', then search the grass for the 'Keel Wood'. Head up three flights of stairs and open the chest for a 'Blank Talisman'. Head down a flight of stairs and head Right across the bridge, go up the stairs here and loot the shiny bush for the 'Mount Jade Stringy Stonecrop' then pull the branch on the floating rock to lower it don to make a platform.


Cross the lowered platform, cross the bridge East, and pick up the red flower for a 'Cedar Leaf'. Head up the steps and pick up the next red flower for another 'Dulcet Fruit'. Now head up the stairs to reach the next section of the mountain.


From the bottom entrance, head on up the mountain and a scene takes place. After, head up the right side stairs first to the top and move Left for another cutscene, the master will then rejoin your team. Head Left and pull the lever on the floating platform. Head back Right, down the steps and pick up the bush for a 'Dulcet Fruit'. Head down two sets of steps, head Left, then up a set of steps and pull the lever here too.


Head down two sets of stairs, then Left, pick up the red flower for a 'Herb', then make your way around to the orange flower above you and pick that up for a 'Keel Wood'. Head up the stairs, head Left, go up two more stairs for a scene. After a while.. 'Whidad' turns up and yet another scene takes place. With Widad as leader, pick up the orange flower to the right for a 'Magic Leaf', and then make your way down to the SAVE point of the area. un-equip 'Nicole' of all her items and give her a crap weapon that's 100% proficient and you have more than 1 of.. (like the 'Wooden Bow'), SAVE, and then exit out.


At the bottom another scene plays out, AGAIN! Eventually the game skips 5 years ahead after 'Septem' collapses.




BAGHDAD - AMIR'S MANSION

You awake in some strange room, it seems A LOT has changed in 5 years, including your social status. Attempt to leave the room and you'll ask for your old clothes, search the top left area's shelf for your belongings then leave the room. In the corridor, it seems the statues are here, head Left and into the open garden area, keep heading Left into another corridor. Head Left again and at the end enter the door.


In this room, speak to 'Moray' in the red hat on the Left to start off the meeting. When you can, SAVE, and then talk to Miles or try to leave the room to the South, choose 'Let's Set Off', then you make your way back to 'Talas'.




TALAS / WORLD MAP

A scene takes place when you enter, seems 'Septem' has a crisis of morality and then on the 'World Map' chooses to head to 'Tian Shan' first. BE AWARE! There's a monster in this region - Mountain Ghost, it can stone everyone and end the game so SAVE often. When ready Head into the tents on the map just West of 'Talas'.

A scene takes place as soon as you enter. Enter the first tent and talk to all three of the family members here a few times each, this is a requirement for a side-quest a little later on. Stop off and do some shopping at the merchants, they have some nice items available. Talk to all the other people if you wish, then there's nothing else left to do here, so leave.

From Toshkent, head South across the small bridge, then head East and then North across another Bridge. Then head North-East to an arched gateway, SAVE and then enter.

When you enter head to the lower wall of the arch and pick up the flashing spot for the 'Imperial Blade - Blue Fang', a weapon for 'Kama'. Head Right and speak to the guy stood there.


NPC 14: The guy asks about some mountains, answer him with: Taihang Mountain. You'll receive an 'Emerald Gold Hairpin', then the guy rushes off.


SAVE after helping the mountain guy, you have two boss fights coming up. Continue on Right and you bump into Huang Lei, and his new Clockwork.

After the fight Huang Lei does a runner again.. SUPER CHICKEN WUSS!! SAVE, and then I suggest heading back to 'Toshkent' to rest at the INN, then return as another boss fight is coming up. From where you fought the first boss head on Right into the next area, pick up the herbs just near you for a 'Dulcet Fruit'. Cross the bridge and meet your next Boss.


NAME: Cornelius

An easy fight unfortunately! He's weak against Holy but Earth does well too. I'd just attack normally on auto to gain valuable experience gains on your weapons.



After 'Cornelius' is defeated he runs off like his chicken wuss friend previously and a scene plays out. Head Right and pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', SAVE, and then enter the cave. Head Up and into the little cove to find a chest in the water containing a 'Blank Talisman'. Head on further into the cave and into the next area.


Head Right to the intersection, don't go North yet, instead head Right to a chest containing a 'Light-Seeking Rock'. Now head South into the next area and search the two pathways for two chests containing 'Golden Salve', and 'Assassination Catalogue'. Now return back to the junction that was going North, and follow it into the next area.


Head South to the chest and open it for a 'Dissolution Compound', then head Right and open the next chest for a 'Holy Word Stone'. Just to your Right is two paths going North and South, head South into the next area and search for 3 chests containing 'Chakra', 'Feather Leaf', and a 'Blazeray'. Now head back an area and take the North path into the next area.


HINT: In this next area you can find monster - Mrs. Shangyuan, because she heals herself often she makes for good levelling for weapon proficiency. You can also steal 'Tian Shan Snow Lotus' off her that heals SP 100%, worth getting some stock of those too. Make sure to catch a few of her cards also, you'll need at least 1 for a side-quest later.

Open the chest just near you for the 'Magic Crystal Ore D'. Head on up further and open the next chest for 'Gold Ore'. Head up the next level and open the chest for 'Mechanism Design Blueprint 1' then head through the door. Outside you run into 'Nicole', a scene takes place. After.. head Left and pick up the flower for the 'Tian Shan Snow Lotus' then head Right into the next area.


Move right and so far to the Right in the clouds you can search for the 'Ghost Cloud', then exit to the Right. A scene takes place with 'Widad', then she'll attack you.

Just attack her on auto, get some weapon exp, she don't hit hard or anything.

╚═ Mesopotamia (Part 5)

After battle she's unconscious, a small scene happens and then you can leave to the Right of the area. Head North along the narrow path into the next area, you end up in a caved town-like place. Talk to the kid at the entrance, head Right and enter the lower cave near the SAVE point. Inside, search the right wall for the 'Arhat Robes', then speak to the NPC here too.


Outside, enter the cave above the one you just left, loot the Left wall for a 'Heaven Lotus Seed', and then talk to the guy in here as part of a later side-quest requirement. Leave the cave and then head to the cave on the far Right and enter, examine the sword to start off a scene. Head outside and all the way Left for another scene.


NAME: Satan Miles

So, don't bother stealing, he has nothing. Just go all out on Miles with your best skills and magics until he falls.



After the battle, Miles uses some skill on you that wipes you out in 1 hit. A long scene takes place now that explains a few things and the five years. Back at 'Tian Shan', when you have control again talk to everyone then head all the way Right to the end cave and enter. Talk to the master in the corner and you receive the 'Sarira', eventually you'll also receive the 'Investiture Altar'.


Head outside, and another scene takes place with 'Nicole', she eventually rejoins you. Speak to the kid to learn about the 'Swords of Sealing' and what you're collecting them for, you should have 11 now (10+1 equipped?). After, head all the way Left and speak to 'Widad', she eventually leaves, and Kama rejoins you too. Make sure to re-equip 'Nicole' and the others with new stuff before leaving.


Make your way all the way back down the mountain to the base and try to leave to the World Map, a scene plays out and you eventually make your way into China.

As soon as you enter the new Region, a scene plays out. You will eventually be told to head to the South-East to find the city - Chang'an, enter it.




CHANG'AN CITY / BAI LIANYI MANSION
Items: Golden Salve, Magical Soaring Oil, Wind God Figure.
Enemy: None!

Enter, a scene takes place, you are directed to find 'Bai Lianyi' on the West side of the city. Head North-East through the gate and into the city. You'll be displayed with a map of sorts of the city, there's a few places you can enter. Head Left to Bai's mansion and enter. A scene takes place just outside the area, when it's finished head North, East, then North into the mansion near the guy tending the garden.


Inside, open the box on the upper-left side of the room for a 'Golden Salve', then enter the room on the Right. Follow the wooden flooring around to the Right and up to the end, search for the 'Magical Soaring Oil'. Now enter the small room and search the books for the 'Wind God Figure'. Now speak to the old guy in this room for a lengthy scene.


After the scenes and some time passes from studies you eventually decide to visit the 'Shaolin Temple'. So for now, leave the mansion and we are going to do some exploring for items first.




CHANG'AN CITY / WEST MARKET STREET
Items: Magical Bread, Lightstream Shoes, Celestial Liquor, Mechanism Design Blueprint 2, Dazzling Sun Pearl, Light-Seeking Rock, Athens Boots, Sarira, Snakeberry, Royal Jelly, (Veined sword, if you choose to upgrade the Chinese Sword) Spirit World Indicator, Corydalis Flower, Pearl Ring, Miraculous Berry, Fattenizer, Fish Crisp, Fruit, 3x Gold Nugget, Mo Ye.

Head North two blocks and enter the 'West Market Street'. Search the stall nearby for the 'Magical Bread'. Just a little to the left enter the house with the flagpole just outside, the Tavern, search upstairs for the 'Celestial Liquor'.


NPC 15: On the top floor of the tavern speak to the guy in blue in the bottom room a few times and answer his riddle..'780', and you'll receive the 'Lightstream Shoes' for Kama. Now leave the tavern and enter the next house to the Left.


Inside this 'Orchid Workshop', open the little chest just to your Left for a 'Mechanism Design Blueprint 2'. Now search the shelf for a 'Dazzling Sun Pearl'. In the back room also open the small chest for a 'Light-Seeking Rock'.


NPC 16: Talk to the old man in this orchid shop and answer '3' on the first question and then '14' on the second question to receive the 'Athens Boots' for Nicole.


By now you SHOULD have all the 'Magic Crystal Ore A to D', the guy in orange in this shop will take them, trade for the 'Mo Ye', a powerful weapon for Septem. You CAN also trade the Ores with 'Boss Chang' in 'Luoyang' but it's not worth it for 1x 'Dirt Centipede Gown', not to mention gaining 'Mo Ye' is part of a side-quest unlock task.


NPC 17: Talk to the guy in the green clothes to the far left and answer him with 'Empress Jia Nangfeng' and then 'Empress Wu Zetian' you will receive the 'Sarira' as a reward.


Head Left into the next area. Enter the house near you, 'The Pharmacy', search the back for a 'Snakeberry', then open the small chest for a 'Royal Jelly'. Outside, speak to the guy by the weapons he will offer to sharpen your 'Chinese Sword' for 2000 money ONLY ONCE, this turns the weapon into the 'Veined' sword for Septem.


NOTE: This sword can be levelled up for the Achievement and used for the Mysterious Trader Side-Quest if not sharpened, OR, traded for Veined for the Weapon Dealer Side-Quest later, up to you. I kept it.

Enter the house on the left side of the weapon merchant, 'Grocery Store'. Search the back for a 'Spirit World Indicator'. Outside, to the left is a flower, pick it up for a 'Corydalis Flower'. Just to the left is a giant pot, search it for a 'Pearl Ring', then enter the building just nearby, Joyluck INN. Search the INN for.. 'Miraculous Berry', 'Fattenizer', 'Fish Crisp', and the 'Fruit' upstairs.


NPC 18: In this INN, talk to the guy on the stairs, help him and answer 'Princess Jincheng' first then 'Princess Xianyi' second and you'll receive '3x Gold Nugget'. Once got, head back outside.


PUZZLE #7a: Speak to the two women on this market street to learn about some treasure, then head Right a screen and head onto the red stage, search for the note and read it. We can't continue with this puzzle just yet so continue on with the game until you come to PUZZLE 7b.





CHANG'AN CITY / ZHUQUE GATE
Items: Jasmine.
Enemy: None!

Enter this area and the gate is closed and many guards about, head up the steps and right you can pick up the flower here for a 'Jasmine'. Now leave the city to the World Map.

From Chang'an City, head East to find a small building surrounded by a mountain, this is the
'Shaolin Temple', our next stop, SAVE and enter.




SHAOLIN TEMPLE
Items: Inspiriting Fruit, Chakra, Mechanism Design Blueprint 4, Golden Salve, Mana Pill, Sword of Sealing, (Vajra Bamboo Hat, Millennium Fleeceflower Root, Black Tortoise Shell, Mana Pill) or (Sacred Light Tower, and Divine Tree Essence) or (Golden Salve, Sea-god Helmet, White Tiger Fang, and Millennium Fleeceflower Root)
Enemy: Iron Golem (BOSS), Clockwork Monk.

As soon as you enter head North and speak to the monk blocking your way. You now examine the Pagoda on the Right and find a switch, pull it to open the way into a forest. As soon as you enter the cave you will be pushed into a Boss fight.


NAME: Iron Golem

Exp: 300 Silver: 500 W.Exp: 20

So again, another easy boss fight. Just attack it with your hardest skills and it will eventually fall. It has a skill that hits around 500+ damage and only uses it when its HP is low, just heal if needed.



After the battle, a scene plays out then examine the pedestal in the middle of the room to find an 'Alchemy Ash', SAVE, then enter the North door. In the next room you reach a four-way intersection, first head Left, Up, Left to find the 'Inspiriting Fruit' in a chest, head back to the intersection.


From the first intersection now head Right to find the 'Chakra' in a chest, head back to the intersection. Now head Up, then Left to find a chest containing 'Mechanism Design Blueprint 4'. Now head Right, down the stairs and Right, Up, Left, and then Up to find another chest containing a 'Golden Salve'. Now head back slightly, then Left up the stairs and into a large room, take the North passage to find a chest containing a 'Mana Pill'.


Head back down to the room and follow the path Left and around into a new area. Head onward to find a 'Sword of Sealing', pick it up and SAVE. Okay, you'll need to make a choice now, one of three path routes, each with their own unique items that you can only get for that path, you'll lose the other items. Each path eventually leads to the same room.. here are the path choice items...


Up Path: Follow the path defeating the enemy and collecting the Vajra Bamboo Hat, Millennium Fleeceflower Root, Black Tortoise Shell, and the Mana Pill. Once you get the 'Mana Pill' head down through the door.

Down Path: Sacred Light Tower, and Divine Tree Essence. Once you get the 'Divine Tree Essence' move up into the room to close the path behind you.

Right Path: Golden Salve, Sea-god Helmet, White Tiger Fang, and Millennium Fleeceflower Root. Once you get the 'MFR' move Right into the large room.

MY THOUGHTS: Down path offers less items, the 80% Light protection Sutra and no Boss or enemies use Light on you and would be pointless for end game. Choosing Up or Right path is your better option. So for the better helm, this depends on if you want a helm for Septem or Li Jing. Take the Upper path if you want the helm for Li, or Right path for the helm for Septem. Also, take into account the two other Sutras available and what they offer.. 80% protection from Wind (White Tiger Fang) and Earth (Black Tortoise Shell), the choice is yours, I'm going with the Right path, for Septem's helm.

So at the end room that shuts all it's doors on you, head Right into the next area. In the next room head all the way up the stairs and at the top you enter a scene. Move towards the iron men and they eventually disappear. Now follow the path onward into a temple room. Head Left and outside, then speak to the monk here. When you have control, head South and exit to the World Map.




WORLD MAP

Next we are heading to the town located North of the 'Shaolin Temple' to get there though we need to head back towards 'Chang'an' and then come back on ourselves from behind the mountain. Once at the new town, SAVE and then enter.


NOTE: With the Monk tagging along with you he will attack in battle, so if you have any weapons that need their proficiency levelled up its a good time to do it now because of the extra damage through just attacking normally.

LUOYANG
Items: Cuscuta Bud, Divine Flavor III, Divine Flavor I, Plume Poppy's Root, Chef's Clever, Three-Leafed Mulberry, Ruby Earrings, Herb Holy Knot, Mirror of the Three Doctrines, Qilin Ribbon, Wine, Divine Flavor II, Power Ribbon, Rat Mallet, Lead Pill, Dwarf Umbrella, Lightning Gloves,

As soon as you enter a scene takes place between you and the monk. After its finished pick up the flower just on the left side grass for a 'Cuscuta Bud'. OKAY! There's a lot of things to find in this area and also people to help before we continue on with the story, with events coming up we will need to do this now or we'll lose the chance to get everything. Head North into the market area and search the big gold pot for the 'Divine Flavor III'.


Head North a little and search the pot between the two houses for 'Divine Flavor I'. Head left and pick up the green bush near the red gate for the 'Plume Poppy's Root'. Just to the South-West of the bush we just picked up search the baskets for the 'Chef's Clever'. That's the five items got, we now need to do a few things for the NPCs.


NPC 19: Talk to the guy sat down between the two North houses, give him '600 Coins' and he will give you a 'Three-Leafed Mulberry'.


NPC 20: Next speak to 'Zong Chuke' underneath the lanterns outside the brothel and he needs a few items to give as a gift, say 'YES' and help him out. He needs Jade Bracelet, Green Jade Earrings, White Ascension Pendant, Jade Ring, Longxi Jade Sword, Emerald Gold Hairpin, and the White Loong Pendant. You should already have the required items gathered from other places previously. IF you need White Ascension Pendant or Green Jade Earrings you can buy them in the 'Grocery Store' from this town. When you hand everything over to him you'll receive the 'Ruby Earrings' for helping him.


Okay, head into the 'Grocery Store', the right Northern house, and search the back wall for 'Holy Herb Knot' and a 'Mirror of the Three Doctrines'. Speak to the orange robed guy in the white turban and hand him all the 'Emperor' gear you should not be wearing by now and you'll get the 'Qilin Ribbon' for 'Kama' as a reward. Leave this store and enter the building to your left.


This is the INN. Search the left pot for a 'Wine', then head upstairs. Search the back wall for the 'Divine Flavor II', then speak to the guy in the Right side room, 'Arbu'.


NPC 21: The guy will ask you to help him out, answer him with '107' and you will receive the 'Power Ribbon' for helping him out. Leave the INN.


Enter the upper house on the Left side of town, 'Antique Store', and open the small chest for the 'Rat Mallet'. The guy behind the counter here will trade you the 'Ore A to D' if you didn't trade them back in the city, you'll get the 'Dirt Centipede Gown' here off him for the trade. Leave this store and enter the next house below this one.


This is the 'Rejuvenation Hall'. Search the back wall for a 'Lead Pill', and a 'Dwarf Umbrella'.


NPC 22: Speak to the guy sat down on the raised area and answer 'Classic of Music' and you'll receive 'Lightning Gloves' for helping him. Now leave the store.


Time to continue on with the story. Head to the Brothel and try to enter, the monk won't enter but you will. Talk to the man just by the entrance as you enter the building and then talk to the woman stood at the top of the stairs, you'll learn the location of the guy you're trying to find. Leave the Brothel and after the scene leave Luoyang and head back to Chang'an.


CHANG'AN

Head to the East side of the Market and talk to one of the grouped people to start a scene, you'll learn of your next destination, a cave just to the East. Leave the city and head East to the cave, SAVE, and then enter.

Okay, this is a HUGE dungeon with many chests to find, expect lots of battles and SAVE often. Inside, pick up the shining spot for a 'Spirit World Indicator' then enter the cave. Inside, a small scene takes place at the 4-way junction. Open the chest just to the Left for a 'Golden Salve'. Now head as far East as you can go to the chest, open it for the 'Singer's CD'.


Don't take the path near you North, head back slightly West and take the 2nd path North to a chest, open it for a 'Soul Pill'. Head North more and enter the doorway to a small room, open the chest for 'Saltpeter'. Leave the room, head East then North to another 4-way junction. Head left first and open the chest for a 'Cornucopia', then at the junction head North and then East into another room, pick up the shining spot for the 'Divine Flavor V'.


Back at this dungeon's entrance 4-way junction head all the way North and enter the cave door, pick up the red flower for a 'Dwarf Umbrella'. Leave the room, head Left then go North, then East and open the chest for a 'Toner'.


Head back West, then South, Left slightly and South to the chest, open it for a 'Holy Pomegranate'. Carry on South then West into a small area, pick the green leaves for a 'Thorowax Herb'. Leave the room and head North, you'll hear a scream, a scene plays out where you'll end up doing battle with Master Huang.


NAME: Master Huang
HP: Weak: ??
Exp: 400 Silver: 500 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Nothing!

Huang has nothing to steal so don't waste time with that. IF you have Ultimates saved, use the toughest hitting ones you have to defeat him quickly, if not.. melee attacks work okay. Keep on top of healing if needed.

After the fight you decide to follow the girl, enter the room just near you, search the Left shelves for the 'White Gourd', then leave the room. Head Right, North, then West into another small room, search the table for 'Mechanism Design Footprint 3'. Leave the room and carry on North into the next portion of this huge dungeon.


In this North Section area, you enter at a 4-way junction choice path, head all the way East first and open the chest for a 'Golden Salve'. Head back Left a little and go North and through the cave door, examine the shining spot for a 'Star One's Eye', leave the room. Head East, North, then East and open the chest for a 'Sea Mango'.


Head North to the junction and first head Left, search this area for a 'Bamboo Tube' in a chest and in the cave room a 'Club Member Card'. Head back East and then go further North, search the desk for the 'Sack of Universe' then enter the room to your Left. examine the glowing spot for the 'Mechanism Design Footprint 6'. Now head back to this north dungeon section's entrance, at the 4-way junction.


As you make your way there a scene plays out with a girl, which breaks out into a fight with 2x Taoist. After defeating them, continue back to the junction. From there, head all the way North into the cave room and loot the chest for 'Sulfur'. Head back to the junction just South of this room and SAVE.


Head Left and search the glowing spot on the wall for the 'Premier's Gut'. Cary on Left then go North to the chest, open it for the 'Wave Armor'. Carry on North and DO NOT take the path East yet, carry on North for the brown chest containing 'God of the Land Talisman', and the 'Sixth Sense Blade' in the North room hidden in the wall.


Now head back slightly and take the path East (the one I said previously to ignore) to the 3-Way junction, Head North into the room and pick up the green leaves for 'Cedar Leaf'. Okay, head back to the very entrance of this entire dungeon. Form here, head all the way North to the door, Left and then follow the path North, and when you can.. head East to find the girl, and a cutscene. You are told where to head next to continue on, see pictures below.


Considering we've explored this entire dungeon and gathered all 4 items needed we can now head back to Chang'an City.

CHANG'AN
Items: Dynamite.
Enemy: N/A

Back in the city, head to the West Market area again, enter the grocery store and speak to the guy just to your Right. wait 3 minutes and he'll make you some 'Dynamite'. Now head back to the dungeon and to the spot where you met the girl previously.

╚═ China (Part 5)

HAN CHANG'AN RUINS
Items: Fan of Cosmos, Sword of Sealing,
Enemy: Starved Ghost, Hung Ghost, Wronged Ghost, Master Huang (Boss), Plagued Ghost, Ghoul.

Back at the dead end where you spoke to the girl, examine the back wall for a scene. Head North through the newly opened cave entrance. Open the chest in this room for the 'Fan of Cosmos', and continue North into the next section. In the next area a small scene plays out, then head Right and pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', then make sure to SAVE. Head out the North door, a scene takes place and then a Boss Fight!


NAME:Disciple Wu-Yuan (Yaksha)
HP: Weak: Fire or Light.
Exp: 800 Silver: 1000 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Nothing!

As with the last boss, don't bother stealing, he has nothing. This guy has a nasty multi-strike attack, thankfully it'll only target 1 person, hopefully you have KO items. I recommend having your Light and Fire characters, Septem and Li Jing use their skills and Ultimates and have the other two heal and melee.

After the battle another scene takes place, you decide then to visit the girl's house back in Chang'an, make your way back to the city and enter.


CHANG'AN
Items: White Ascension Pendant,
Enemy: N/A

Head to the good Samaritan's Mansion and enter. A scene takes place and then asked to enter the house. Inside, another lengthy scene takes place and eventually you head back out to the garden where a pretty cool scene happens, I wont spoil it but you do get an 'White Ascension Pendant', during these scenes.


After the really great scene, head out of the Samaritan's Mansion and head to 'Bai Lianyi's Mansion and speak to Master Bei (the old guy in green) in the main room of the house. Once you have control again, head back to the main room and speak to Master Bei again, seems the Emperor wishes to meet you. Head out and to the Zhuque Gate, SAVE and enter.


Inside, a scene takes place and it seems the Emperor is else where. Leave the area and then the city. Head East to the mountain and enter.


MOUNT LI PALACE
Items: Golden Salve, Portrait Album, Miraculous Berry, Mana Pill, Elephant Helmet, Sword of Sealing, Billhook Spear,
Enemy: Sylph, Witch Bamboo, Bewitching Demon Fog, Evil Yu of Pestilence (Boss).

Another scene takes place when you enter, once you have control head North up the stairs between the two guards and then Left across the wooden walkway into the next area. Battles take place here. Head Left to the green plinths and just before reaching them search behind the tree for a 'Golden Salve'. Now head South and open the brown chest for a 'Portrait Album'. Then pick up the 'Miraculous Berry' a little to the Left behind the trees, exit to the Right.


In this new area, head North first and behind the trees on the Left side search for a 'Mana Pill'. Head back South and in the trees to the Southeast of the 'Sword of Sealing' pick up the 'Elephant Helmet'. Now pick up the 'Sword of Sealing' also. Now head towards the brown chest and a scene plays out and then also a Boss Fight.


NAME:Evil Yu of Pestilence
HP: 12000 Weak: Light.
Exp: 1270 Silver: 3090 W.Exp: 23
Drops: Dark Demon Vessel, Tian Shan Teleport Rune.

First thing, be sure to steal the 'Asura's Anvil' off this boss. This guy is weak against Light so use your best Light element skills, and he will also summon some minions to battle too. Try and protect your team from Poison attacks also, this guy uses a Poison AOE.

After the fight another scene takes place, when you have control head back South and open the brown chest for a 'Billhook Spear'. Now exit to the North and a scene plays out at the top of the mountain. When you have control, speak to the guard just by you, then speak to everyone multiple times until they repeat the same thing, speak to the guard near your table again, then the Emperor, the scene should continue.


You leave the banquet to the South and another scene takes place, then it switches to a camp. When you control Septem, talk to everyone at least once then leave the tent. In this area exit to the Left, and then talk to the guy in purple.


NPC 23: When you talk to the guy in purple he'll ask you two questions, the answers are as follows: Lingnan (for 1st question), Jiannan (for 2nd question). NOTE: IF you don't answer correctly or give up you'll lose '100 Silver' each time. Unfortunately though you don't get anything for answering both questions, unless you count a STEAM Achievement as a reward.


Carry on through camp to the West 2 screens to leave and head back to Chang'an City, and head back to the destroyed mansion.

╚═ China (Part 6 - THE DOMO STUDIO)

CHANG'AN (DOMO STUDIO)
Items: Singer Boots, Fur Beast Coat, Blank Talisman, Gangster Gloves, Asura Armlet,

Inside, head to the South-East corner and enter the Pavilion to the DOMO. First let's get the 4 hidden items before I explain what the DOMO is. So, loot the crates just to your Right for the 'Singer Boots'. Search the waterfall for a 'Fur Beast Coat'. Head all the way Right to the water and search the chest for a 'Blank Talisman'. Lastly, open the chest that's half submerged in the water just to the Southeast of you for a 'Gangster Gloves'.



WHAT IS DOMO STUDIO?
So DOMO STUDIO is a secret area where you can deliver requested items to the Production Staff of the game for a certain item. By talking to each individual you can learn what item(s) they want. Some of these items are easy to find, whilst others are quite hard to find and require multiple steps to obtain them.

WHAT'S THE REWARDS?
As rewards go, you'll get 1x Signature Board off each person, and there's a total of 16 to collect. Once you have all 16 you can talk to Alan Kuo who'll trade Cat and Dog Dolls to you for them.


WHAT ARE CAT & DOG DOLLS?
The Dolls are equipped items with some very nice stat bonuses for your characters. Some are better than others but you will only get 3 out of a possible 5 Dolls, these are randomly chosen by 'Alan Kuo' but you can Load a save game to change the ones you want. It's HIGHLY recommended to make sure you get the Lele Doll, and True Dream Doll. So make sure you save before receiving the dolls from him, if you don't get the one's mentioned then reload.

IMPORTANT!
There's some items you'll need to obtain before the rebellion happens in China, otherwise they'll be lost forever. Luckily, IF you've been following my guide you should have most of the missable ones by now, these are.. 'Singer's CD', 'Club Member Card', and the 5x 'Divine Flavor', though you should only be missing 'Flavor IV'. We'll get this one soon. Also, the 'Pipa' and 'Modified Car' can only be got AFTER the rebellion, so don't bother even looking for those two items at this point of the game.

Okay, so once you've had fun and spent some time at the DOMO, it's time to carry on with the story. Leave the Domo, the ruined mansion, and then head to the World Map and head all the way East to the Shaolin Temple, SAVE and then enter.

SHAOLIN TEMPLE

When you enter, head North and speak to the monk in the garden area. After speaking leave this area and head back to your army camp.


YULIN GUARD'S BARRACKS
Items: Mechanism Design Blueprint V.
Enemy: Clockwork Wether Hybrid.

As soon as you enter a scene takes place, and then a Boss Battle unfolds.


NAME:Clockwork Wether Hybrid
HP: Weak: Ice, Light, Electric.
Exp: 1200 Silver: 2000 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Mechanism Design Blueprint V.

Make sure to steal the 'Mystical Fungus'. This boss is weak against Light, Ice, and electric type attacks so use your strongest skills of those elements.

After the fight the boss will drop your last Blueprint you need. Another scene now takes place in the main tent of the camp, once you have control of Septem speak to Huang Lei to move him on out of the tent. Speak to everyone else and then leave the Barracks completely. Now we have all 6 Blueprints we can go exchange those. If you did the same as me with the Crystal Ore then we need to return back to Chang'an Market.


CHANG'AN MARKET
Items: Clockwork Crab Hybrid.
Enemy: Nothing!

Enter the Orchid Workshop, speak to the guy in orange behind the counter, hand over all the Blueprints. He will now tell you to come back in a little while. IF you went to the other store and traded the Crystal Ore there instead then you will need to go to that store instead. Wait around for a couple of minutes then talk to the store guy for the 'Clockwork Crab Hybrid'.


NOTE: It might be worth me mentioning now that there are now new items in stock in Louyang. You might want to pop there and buy a few 'Divine Dew', those will come in handy later.

WORLD MAP
Items: Nothing!
Enemy: Wangliang, Witch Bamboo, Demon Spinning Top, Starved Ghost, Great Iguana.

Okay, on the World Map a new area has appeared, head there, SAVE, and then enter. See picture below for exact location.


BEAN PIT / DEMON LORD FORTRESS
Items: Nothing!
Enemy: Zhang Ke & Exorcist (Boss)

As soon as you enter a scene takes place and you are told the Bandit's Hideout is at the top of the area. Head to the top and when you get to the fort area first head South to the pool for a small scene. Now head into the fortified area and you'll get a new party member. Carry on right and into the cave. a scene takes place and you end up in a Boss Fight.


NAME:Zhang Ke & Exorcist
HP: ??? / ??? Weak: None / Fire or Poison
Exp: 3000 Silver: 2000 W.Exp: 40
Drops: Nothing!

Don't bother stealing, neither has any items. Zhang has no elemental weakness but Exorcist does, Fire and Poison. These two are mostly melee users, so just go all out with your best skills and heal if needed.

After the battle another scene takes place and then another battle ensues, LOL!


NAME:Bandit Septem
HP: ??? Weak: None!
Exp: 1000 Silver: 3000 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Chakra.

Don't bother stealing, he has nothing. This guy is easier than the previous fight, just use the same tactics and your best skills to end this quickly.

After the battle, you guessed it.. MORE scenes, LOL! It eventually leads back to base camp, and more scenes take place.


YULIN GUARD'S BARRACKS
Items: None!
Enemy: Congregation Elder, Lantern Monster.

Head North into the main tent and another scene takes place. After, a Guard rushes in and screams attack, but don't exactly tell you where, towards the exit screen of the camp base a few battles will take place, then the scene changes to the Palace Mountain area, then switches inside the pot. Here, talk to your team members and you'll head to the red door, another scene takes place and then you end up back at the Palace Mountain.


Some more scenes take place, turns out the Emperor was sent to hell, LOL! After the scene Septem jumps into the circle and heads to hell. Eventually a few other people follow you in to help.

╚═ China (Part 8)

HELL - BLOODY MAZE (RETURNED)
Items: Devil Flute, 30000 Sil, Magic Powder, 2x Shell Powder, Cuscuta Bud, 10000 Sil, Magic Water, Cloud Pricker.
Enemy: Atar, Fiery Toad, Flamehead, Hell Ghost, Mummy, Murloc, Vampire Lord.

Okay, so all the treasure have been replaced with new ones, luckily the map hasn't changed, so more exploring for juicy items. Head Right and SAVE, then head up the ladder and through the cave door into the area's main dungeon.


Head North to the 4-way junction, head North first and search the wall for a 'Devil Flute', then head back to the junction. Now head all the way West and open the chest for the '30000 Sil'. Head North to the chest and open it for a 'Magic Powder', now return back to the 4-way junction. Now head as far East as you can go and open the chest for a 'Shell Powder'.


Now head North to the 2nd 4-way junction, and head all the way West to a chest, open it for a 'Shell Powder'. Head North at the nearby path and follow it as far East as you can go. From there head North to a chest, open it for the 'Cuscuta Bud'. Head South, West, North, and West to the 3rd 4-way junction, head West through the door into the next area.


When you enter a scene takes place with Cornelius, and Siyue's Father, Master Wang, after a brief chat you attack Cornelius.


NAME:Cornelius
HP: ??? Weak: Light
Exp: 800 Silver: 600 W.Exp: 20
Drops: Nothing!

He has nothing to Steal. This boss is weak against Light, so use your strongest Light skills and anything else that's high level. Melee works but will make it a longer battle. The boss has a few hard hitting AOE skills so keep on top of healing too.

After the battle, another scene takes place, examine Master Wang around the corner for another scene. Once you have control, make your way back to the SAVE spot in the 1st room. SAVE, then try to enter the door where the General and the Guards went.


Head North and you'll come to a 3-Way junction, remember this place, i'll say return here shortly. So, take the path as far North as you can to find a chest, open it for '10000 Sil'. Go back slightly and head East, then North to the 2nd 3-way junction. Go East then North to find a chest, open it for a 'Magic Water'. Now head South, and follow the path all the way West to a small chest, open it for the 'Cloud Pricker'. Head Left and follow the path North into the next area.


In this small room a scene plays out. Okay NOW return all the way back to the 3-Way junction I told you to remember earlier and head East to the chest, open it for a 'Soul Pill'. Carry on East and then North into a large room. Head Northeast, then North into the next area, then North into the next area once again for a scene and you'll do battle with 3x Congregation Elder.


Once they are dealt with you end up in some small housed area and a scene plays out, you'll then have to fight another 3x Congregation Elders. After, Evil Yu is killed in 1 hit and another scene takes place again, you eventually end up back in Chang'an.


CHANG'AN
Items: None!
Enemy: None!

Okay, in Chang'An head for Duke Dongping's Mansion, SAVE, and then enter. A scene plays out between two guys on the bridge, seems they are wanting to take the Throne.


PUZZLE #7b: After the two guys walk off, examine the Right side stone lantern to find a note that directs you to the next note. PUZZLE #7c is coming up shortly.


Now head to Bai Liyanli's Mansion and enter. A scene plays out where you find out someone's been kidnapped. When you are ready leave Bai Liyanli's Mansion and head to Luoyang.


PUZZLE #7c: Examine the Left side statue to find yet another note. So this note refers to finding something at the body of a dragon, or something, which is the location of the treasure. We will however have to wait a short while before being able to actually get it in PUZZLE #7d.

╚═ China (Part 9)

LUOYANG - TAOIST TEMPLE
Items: Divine Flavor IV, Imperial Blade - Heavenly Yama, Bead, Flavour God Certification, Heaven Fan, Chang'e, Water of Mirun, Singing Walnut, DOMO Game Software, Tai-Chi Figure, Bamboo Leaf Garment, Yaksha Ribbon, Golden Salve, Thunder Vambrace, Herb, Corpse-Control Figure, Sword of Sealing, Chakra, Raksha Cymbal of Eclipse.
Enemy: Lantern Ghost, Congregation Elder, Silkworm Maid, Fairy of Music, War Ghoul, Wang Siyue (Boss), Evil Yu (Boss).

In Luoyang, exit to the Northwest of the market into the Taoist Temple area, you'll meet Master Hui-Rong at the steps and a scene plays out. When you enter you'll notice the two guards that are now gone. Head all the way North onto the outside balcony, head Left first and then South, then open t he chest just on your Right for the 'Divine Flavor IV', at last. Now head South to the chest and open this one for the 'Imperial Blade - Heavenly Yama'.


Now head to the right side of this floor and open the chest here for a 'Bead', DO NOT head upstairs yet. Head back to the central market and speak to the guy at the stall looking for Divine Flavor Books, trade him the ones you have for the 'Flavour God Certification'. We will return this item to the DOMO STUDIO later, it was just important we got that now otherwise the guy won't be there later on. Now return back to the Taoist Tower.


Make your way around to the Right side and head up the stairs. Head Left and examine the huge bowl to learn how to open the three doors, you need Bead, Tai-Chi Figure, and Heaven Fan. So, head to the Upper-Right side of the floor and open the chest for 'Heaven Fan'. Head South and try to open the chest, it will ask for a 'Divine Dew', choose "Yes" and you'll get the 'Chang'e'.
NOTE: The Divine Dew can be bought in Louyang Market Store if you need one.


Search the top door on the Right side for the 'Water of Mirun', the search the door on the Left for the 'Singing Walnut'. Now head Left to the chest and open it for the 'DOMO Game Software'. Now make your way South and in the bottom-left corner search the hidden chest for the 'Tai-Chi Figure'.


Head back to the giant bowl and offer up the three items to the picture on the wall to open the door to the South of you. Head South through the door, head Right first and open the chest for the 'Bamboo Leaf Garment' and then head West to the stairs, head up them to the next floor.


On this floor, make sure you TAME a few 'Fairy of Music' for cards, you'll need them later, 5 should be enough. Open the two chest on this side of the room for a 'Yaksha Ribbon' and a 'Golden Salve'. The weird yellow switch type things in the room will transport you over to the other side of the room. Take the bottom one over and open the chest just to the Northeast for a 'Thunder Vambrace'.


Use the teleport switch just to the Left of the chest you just opened and then on the Left side take the teleport at the very top back over to the Right side of the room. Head onward to the stairs and head up them to the next floor.


On this floor, Examine the Clockwork statue in the middle or far Left of the room first, then examine the Pyre of sticks next, then examine the shelf of fortune sticks to get the 'Corpse-Control Figure'. You can actually get other items from the sticks too if you're lucky, 'Herb', you can even lose '100 Silver'. Now head to the Far Left of the room and examine the clockwork statue once you have the 'Corpse-Control Figure'.


Move the statue to one of the two switches and place it on it. Repeat the stick process above to get another control item and do the same on the 2nd statue, the door below them should open once both statues are on the switches. Head through the South door, SAVE, and head up the stairs to the next floor. NOTE: IF you keep using the sticks you can fight 'War Ghoul', you can Tame it.


On this floor, make your way around the area going anti-clockwise to find the 'Sword of Sealing', pick it up. Carry on and before heading into the small room where the guy is painting, pick up the chest at the back side of the stairs for a 'Chakra'. Now enter the room to start of a scene and then a Boss Fight.


NAME:Wang Siyue
HP: ??? Weak: Light.
Exp: 300 Silver: 495 W.Exp: 15
Drops: Nothing!

Don't bother stealing, she has nothing. She seems to be weak against Light but after a few melee hits a scene takes place in battle so don't waste items or skills yet until the scene reveals the real monsters. It's a LOT of ghosts around her, kill those instead.

After the battle another scene takes place in the Pagoda, after a while you'll battle Evil Yu.


NAME:Evil Yu
HP: ??? Weak: Light.
Exp: 3340 Silver: 5480 W.Exp: 32
Drops: Raksha Cymbal of Eclipse.

Don't bother stealing, he has nothing. He seems to be weak against Light so make use of those type skills or you best skills. Make use of your Ultimate skills too. The Boss will summon Bewitching Demon Fog minions to battle also. He also makes use of a Poison AOE, so prepared to heal.

╚═ China (Part 10)

NOTE: I am unsure if the minion's Exp etc adds onto the Bosses Exp and stuff so above is what I got at the end.

After the battle a scene plays out, you learn more about the 'Xuan Yuan Sword' and then decide to leave the Pagoda. The quickest way out is to use a 'Light-Seeking Rock', now make your way back to the market area and a scene plays out on the steps. After that, it's time to make your way back to Chang'an City - Master Bei's Mansion.


CHANG'AN - MASTER BEI'S MANSION
Items: None!
Enemy: None!

Once you arrive, head into the house and a scene plays out. Head back to the main room and speak to everyone, then leave the mansion and head to Duke Dongping's Mansion, SAVE and enter.


CHANG'AN - DUKE DONGPING'S MANSION
Items: Azure Dragon Orb, Honey-Sap Juice, Gold Nugget, Flexibility Elixir, Mystical Fungus, Vermilion Guard Jade, Uprising Plan, Cangmang Snake Garment, Imperial Blade - Green Scar, Heaven Bead Armor, War Lion Bracers, Purity, Lucent Gauze Garment, Vermilion Feather, Anti-Petrifying Statue.
Enemy: Heavenly Maiden, Weaver Fairy, Flowery Maid, Fairy of Music, Medusa & Death Knight (BOSS), Cornelius (BOSS), Empress E'huang, Empress Nú'ying, Clockwork Mantis Hybrid.

NOTE: MAKE SURE you TAME at least 4/5 each of the 7 fairy monsters in this area for the DOMO Side-Quest requiring them. They also have some useful items to steal, so make sure to get some of them if you wish.

When you enter a scene takes place in the garden with the group, it'll switch back to Bei's house. Back at the Duke's Mansion it seems the guards have been killed, so enter the door.


PUZZLE #7d: Head to the top of the stairs and a shining spot here on the dragon statue is the last phase of Puzzle 7. Search it for the 'Azure Dragon Orb'. SAVE and move to the next area.


Now for the dungeon part of this place, head North to the large picture stand and a scene takes place. Head North and examine the picture on the wall to teleport to a small room, loot the area for 'Honey-Sap Juice' and 'Gold Nugget'. Now head back through the picture and move back South to the large picture stand.


Now head all the way West and speak to the woman there, she can now be talked to whenever to heal your party. Search the bookshelf near her for the 'Flexibility Elixir'. Head all the way East and search the shelving for a 'Mystical Fungus'., the search the pile of gold at the end for the 'Vermilion Guard Jade'. Examine the wall picture between the gold pile and the shelving to teleport to a room, loot the room for 'Uprising Plan', and 'Cangmang Snake Garment'.


Head back through the painting, and enter the painting on the Left side of the shelving to a new room. Loot the room for the 'Imperial Blade - Green Scar', and 'Heaven Bead Armor' then leave the room and head back to the healing woman. Heal, SAVE, and then teleport using the picture on the wall near her. In this new room, a scene plays out and then a Boss Fight.


NAME:Medusa & Death Knight

Steal off then both if you like first, then take out Medusa first with Fire & Light skills, also melee but keep all your Ultimate Skills for Death Knight. He's not that tough, I killed it in 2 Ultimate skill uses.

After the battle, the scene continues then you can loot the room for the 'War Lion Bracers'. So, there's two statues in this room, the Left one will return you to the large picture stand, and the Right continues you forward, examine the Right statue. In this next room, search the gold pile near you for 'Purity', then the gold pile on the far Left of the room for 'Lucent Gauze Garment'.


NOTE: The pot in this room requires an item, IF you hand over the 'Thunder Count's Hammer', you will get in return..

There's 3 statues to choose here, the Left and Right ones go to previously visited rooms, so SAVE and choose the middle one to carry on. As you step in move right and DO NOT examine the three stone statues yet, examine the right shining spot for the 'Vermilion Feather' first, now examine the stone statues for a scene, the 'Anti-Petrifying Statue', and then a Boss Fight.


NAME:Cornelius
HP: 12500 Weak: Light

Don't bother stealing, he has nothing. It's best for you to go all out with this guy, he has a lot of health. Use you best skills and also Ultimate Skills to down him fast.

After the fight, fight around this room for some new enemy monsters, TAME a few, STEAL some of their items, and so on. You might want to steal a nice stock of 'Saturn Peach' off 'Empress E'huang', these restore 100% health. The point in this room also is to get everyone's Ultimate skills ready for another Boss Battle coming up soon, you will need then, trust me. When ready, head into the Right statue to teleport to the next area.

CHANG'AN - DUKE DONGPING'S MANSION Cont...

There's 4 statues in this room, loot the shining spot at the Right end of the room for the 'Chancellor An's Military Order' and then examine the statue just above the item you just looted. Pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', and loot the pile of gold on the Left for the 'Emerald Ruby Bracer', SAVE, then head through the North door.


A scene takes place when you enter the room, after search the bookshelf in the lower-right of the room for another scene and then a secret stairway is revealed, head down them to the next area. Head Right and prepare for a Boss Fight in the chest, after defeating it you'll get a 'Monkey King Bar', a nice weapon for Li Jing.



NAME:Winning Buddha

Drops: Monkey King Bar

Don't bother stealing, he has nothing. This boss is pretty simple, he does make use of an AOE skill that does a couple hundred damage so don't really put you at risk. Just use your best skills and heal if you need to and he'll eventually fall.


After the fight, head North then Right and open the chest for the 'Cangmang Snake Gloves'. Now head all the way Left and open the chest here for the 'Violet Gold Crown'. From here head North to see a cutscene with Huang Lei. Now carry on as far north to a chest, it will ask for the Sutra - 'Sack of Universe'. IF you decide to trade it MAKE SURE you've maxed it's proficiency first to 1500 for the achievement. In return for the trade you will unlock 'Kama's Skill - Blustering Gale'.


NOTE: This area is a one time visit area so the option to unlock the two skills above/below with the sack/hammer is a one time area unlock, if you don't do it now you'll not be able to get it again once you get to the end of this area and fight the Boss.

Now, head all the way Right and then South to a chest, open it for the Sutra - 'Thunder Count's Hammer'.


NOTE: So, further back in the mansion there was a pot that was asking for this item. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you level the hammer first in this area around the chest to '1000' for the requirement of an achievement and then head back to the pot and trade it in for the 'Ji Ling's Skill - Torrent Tidal'. IF you don't do this now you'll lose the chance to do it after the main Boss.


Now, once you've levelled the proficiency of the Hammer and Sack and traded them both for the two skills head back to the chest that had the hammer inside it. From here, head all the way North up the stairs and through the door into the next area. When you enter a scene takes place. As the scene moves on you are confronted by 'Miles' again, and a Boss Battle ensues.



NAME:Satan Miles

This is one tough battle, expect to die at least once or twice if you're not prepared skills wise. There's two phases to the fight, once you've dealt with the first form just let the 2nd form win. I first used skill - Physical Substitute, then used my Ultimate Skill - Sirius Blink, then used skill - Fire God Descends, then used an item to fully restore my MP, then cast Physical Substitute again. I then cast a few more Fire God Descends. I DID get a chance to use Sirius Blink again, so did. After a certain point Miles transforms and just let him kill me without wasting any items or anything.


After the battle another scene takes place, you say goodbye to your fellow gang members and peacefully die. Seeing a cutscene of your past flash by your eyes you appear in a new location as a ghost.



Yangtze River Bank
Items: Xuan-Yuan Sword.
Enemy: None!


After the chat with the guy, follow him into the tent. After another lengthy scene you are handed the 'Xuan-Yuan Sword' and then suddenly warped to another location, Tian Shan, where another scene takes place. Once you have control, head outside and speak to Kama and Ankh just on the level below you. After another scene the two will rejoin your party. Head into the teleport jus to the Right to head back to Chang'An.



Chang'An

Enemy: None!


Okay, a scene takes place and you learn that Master Bai has died. Head into the first room and speak to the guy here a couple of times if you want to learn what happened to the girl you left here five years ago. Leave the area and on the city map head to the West Market place, the stores here have upgraded their equipment and weapons, including the weapon guy outside the Grocery Store. When you are ready, leave the city and head Left to the cave, SAVE, and enter.

Han Chang'An

NOTE: This is the final dungeon but we need to come here now to get some new items and get Nicole back. All the chests here have been replenished with new stuff. MAKE SURE you capture cards here too, you'll need some 'Xuannú of The Nine Heaven' cards for one of the DOMO side-quests, I recommend at least getting 3 cards of every monster in this dungeon.

From the entrance's 4-way intersection head East, North, East and open the chest here for the 'Pipa'. From here head North, East, then North to the 2nd 4-way intersection, open the chest just on the Right for the 'Imperial Blade - Crimson Leaflet'. Now carry on North and then East into a room, loot the shiny spot for a 'Cursed Ring'. Now head back to the entrance 4-way path.


From the entrance again, head all the way North to the chest and open it for the 'Gan Jiang', then enter the door just to the left of the chest and open the chest in here too for the 'Mirror Dance'. Back outside the room, head West slightly and take the path going North into another door. Pick up the flower in here for the 'Five-Color Erica Carnea', now exit the room.


Now head East, then North to the 3-way intersection and you'll run into Cornelius, a scene plays out. After the scene, REMEMBER this 3-way junction, now head North and then West and into the room here for the chest, 'Titanium Shoes'. Leave the room and carry on North into a room, loot the shiny spot for the 'White Fox Cloak'. Now head back to where you got the 'Gan Jiang' above, from there head West to the wall where the path goes South or North.


First head South and open the chest for 'The Earth', then head West into the small room and open the chest here for the 'Golden Bell Manual'. Now head back outside and follow the path going North, head into the door you come to and loot the shiny spot for the 'Modified Car'. Exit the room and open the chest just to your Right for the 'Five Thunderbolts Revolver'.


From this chest you just opened, head North to the 3-way intersection, head West first and into the room, loot the shiny spot for the 'Sacred Beast Crown'. Leave this room, head back slightly and then head North into the next huge map area. Here you will be at the 2nd entrance 4-way intersection.


From this 2nd entrance intersection first lets head all the way North and open the small chest for a 'Loong Helmet'. Head back to the 4-way intersection of this area and head all the way West, open the chest here for the 'Hell Binding Gloves'. From here head North to another chest, open it for the 'Buddha Bracelet'. Head all the way North and into a room, loot the chest for the 'Embroidery Leaf Shoes'.


Exit the room, head South slightly and follow the path East. North, East, follow the South path first to the chest, open it for the 'Underworld Armor'. Head back slightly and now follow the path North into a small area, open the chest for the 'Celestial Garment'. Now head back to this area map's 4-way entrance junction.


From the entrance head all the way East and open the chest for the 'Cyan Light Gloves'. Now head back slightly and take the path North, ignore the room, East, North, East, and North to a 3rd 4-way intersection. Open the chest just to the Right for a 'Unicorn's Eclipse'. Now head all the way North and into the room, loot the shiny spot for 'Giant' then go back to the 3rd 4-way path and follow the path West this time.


Open the chest you come to for the 'Blank Talisman', then carry on West into the room. Loot the shiny spot for the 'Wind Fire Wheels' and then leave the room, that's nearly the entire dungeon looted, minus the next area we must head to. Head back to the entrance of this entire dungeon, or use an Assist Item - 'God of the Land Talisman'.


From the dungeon's 1st 4-way intersection head back to where you met Cornelius, head North to the opened chest and doorway, West, then North, East, then North to the 3-way junction. Now head
East then North into the next area. Open the chest in the water for the 'Heaven-Inciting Spear', then head Right into the next area. Open the chest just to your right for the 'Nine Loong Armor' and then pick up the 'Sword of Sealing', then SAVE.


Okay, just to the North-West of the SAVE is a chest in the water, THIS is a choice chest, you can get 1 of three weapons for Septem out of it by choosing..

• The First One = Loong Deep - +250 ATK, ?? at 100% Proficiency.
  
• The Second One = Titan - +240 ATK, ?? at 100% Proficiency.
  
• The Third One = Needle - +230 ATK, ?? at 100% Proficiency.

I suggest going for 'Loong Deep' as it's got the highest ATK from the start though to be honest, you're gonna unlock Septem's best weapon very soon that;s double the attack power. Once you are readym SAVE and then enter the cave door for a scene and then a Boss Fight.

╚═ China (Part 12b - The Final Dungeon)

Go all out with your best attacks, DO NOT use Dark element, he absorbs them for healing. Just keep using your best Skills and Ultimate Skills plus heal when needed and you can't go wrong.


After battle DO NOT go back into the cave, you'll end up fighting the last boss of the game if you do and we don't want to do that yet, there's things we need to do still. Once the Boss has fallen Satan appears then makes a dash for it. Another scene takes place, when you have control again. go SAVE at the Save point.


With the end of the cutscene you will also unlock the 'Xuan-Yuan Sword', Septem is able to equip it now. So now we have a few things to finish off before heading back into the cave again to face Satan, so leave this dungeon completely to the World Map and be prepared for a lot of other things we need to do next.

╚═ China (Part 13 - Finishing Extras)

Okay, some of these we'll be able to finish and some we won't be able to because of choices made throughout the game, this is why you need to play twice to gain all the achievements IF you're after STEAM Achievement. Here we go...

NOTE: IF you've been following my guide then you probably won't have the 'Veined' weapon this time around for unlocking the Secret Store Seller, don't ask me why I did that 'cos I messed it up myself *sad face* I talked to the secret store guy before I should have and saved, oops !!


1. In Chang'an, just as you enter, head to the left and there's a guy there that's looking for some weapons, hand them over you'll gain 10x Gold Nuggets. Hand over the next two he asks for and you'll get 10x Earth Mud Robes. He asks for..

1st Time Request

• Cyan - Can be bought in Chang'an.
  
• Purity - Found in Duke Dongping's Mansion.
  
• Just - Bought in Luoyang. (Off the market weapon seller near end game).
  
• Veined - In Chang'an, speak to the market weapon seller and he'll offer to upgrade the Chinese Sword to Veined. He will ONLY offer to do this once, the first time you ever speak to him.
  
• Giant - Found in Han Chang'an (2nd time visiting there, near end game).

2nd Time Request

• Gan Jiang - Found in Han Chang'an (2nd time visiting there, near end game).
  
• Mo Ye - In Chang'an Market, trade the guy Crystal Ore A to D for it.

2. Stores in Chang'an and Luoyang have upgraded their items with new stuff, be sure to buy what weapons you don't have first, then armor and items last.

3. In Chang'an, head to the ruined mansion and head into the DOMO STUDIO. SAVE! We can now finish off the five NPCs here that we didn't previously. So hand over all items for 5 more Signature Boards. Once done, head to the far right and speak with Alan Kuo, he will give you 3 random Doll rewards out of a possible 5 Dolls, the Dolls are as follows..

• Rice Doll - Generates single Physical Attack, consumes 150 Vitality.
  
• Bliss Doll - Generates single Physical Attack, consumes 200 Vitality.
  
• Tom Doll - Generates single Physical Attack, consumes 150 Vitality.
  
• Dream Doll - Generates all Light Health, consumes 300 Vitality.
  
• Red Coral Doll - Generates Wind AOE Attack Magic, consumes 150 Vitality.

NOTE: The Dolls you WANT are Dream, Bliss, and Tom. Reload your saved file until you get them, these three dolls will make the last few Bosses a million times easier.


4. In Luoyang, the Weapon Dealer will request 4 weapons, make sure to 100% proficiency then before deciding to turn them over to be made into the 'Quadruple Emperor's Tyrant', Kama's best weapon. Once you've made this weapon, the Weapon Dealer will put up for sale a new weapon for Nicole, her best weapon.. 'Multi-Bow of Divinity' for 10,000 Silver.

╚═ China (Part 14 - The Hidden Bosses)

1. Secret Boss - Demon Chiyou!
By now you should have either 17 or 18 'Swords of Sealing'. You only require 17 to be able to activate this Boss. A little preparation before hand for your party, try and protect them all from Dark Element before taking on this boss. With all the items you have collected you should be able to get 100% or more on all four characters for Dark. I recommend you also start battle with your team all having full Ultimate Skill bars to start, everyone max level, 60. MAKE SURE Septem is equipped with the Xuan-Yuan Sword.

To find Chiyou, head to 'Tianshan' by either teleporting there through the painting in Master Bei's Mansion in Chang'an (better option), or use a 'Hearth Figure' on the World Map to get there. Now we need to find a kid in this area, he is located in the room above the SAVE spot. SAVE, then enter the cave and speak to the little kid to start the fight with Chiyou.


DEMON CHIYOU
HP: 30000
EXP: 5000
SILVER: 5000
WEXP: 20
DROPS: Five Stone Necklace.

You can steal a 'Saturn Peach' from Chiyou. He's weak against Light Element, heals from Dark Element and has high defence against Poison and Lightning. My suggestion here is to keep Nicole on Raise and healing duty, and use Kama for healing when needed. Use your best Ultimates that are Light based or any other that are not Lightning, Poison, or Dark based. At the start of the battle MAKE SURE you use Dream Doll for 30% Def buff, this doll will also heal all party members in 1 for about 4K-5K, and can be used over and over. Though i've suggested above tactics for defeating Chiyou, the easiest way is just to spam 'Bliss Doll' over and over on everyone, and use Dream Doll for healing instead, the boss'll fall within 2/3 rounds.

After the battle Demon Chiyou is sealed away for good. You'll get the 'Xuan-Yuan Youbgling', basically the kid will join your team as an extra unusable character.



2. Secret Boss - Demon Bull King!
We can now head to the 2nd hidden boss, Demon Bull King, here's how to get to it. Head to Luoyang and head to the 'Taoist Temple'. Speak to the guy on the steps just before entering to learn about the Demon Bull Boss first. In the temple, you need to head up floors to where you had previously drew fortunes from the pot and looked on the wall sign, doing this now will randomly call the last Secret Boss, Demon Bull King.


NOTE: The ground floor of this tower is a great place to level your weapons on Auto, due to the monsters having quite a lot of health and fight in groups, the EXP you get is quite sufficient for levelling Proficiency for weapons. I recommend you try and level ALL your weapons that are not 100% now. Do this and it'll serve as a nice way to build up your Ultimate Skill bar, ready for the Boss fight.



DEMON BULL KING
HP: 30000
EXP: 9999
SILVER: 9999
WEXP: 20
DROPS: DOMO Maneuver.

This boss is NO joke, even though it only has the same amount of health as Chiyou. Don't bother stealing, he doesn't have anything. He makes use of a Lightning AOE Skill that stops you using your skills, he can poison your party too, luckily he don't block Ultimate Skills, or use of Doll items. Protect your party from Dark and Lightning Elements and go all out using the same tactics as the Chiyou fight. See below for useful Equipment for this fight to make it a little more manageable but still a tough fight if you don't use the Dolls at all.


Useful Items For Demon Bull King
Most items wont protect against Lightning Element so your only option is to make some using the Fusion function. You will get 1x Lightning Gloves in Luoyang but you need 3 more as these gloves give 60% protection from Lightning and +48 DEF, so a must have for this fight.

So first you need to gather some 'Black Reaper' monster cards from Han Chang'an's first area, at least three, four if you didn't get the free 'Lightning Gloves' from Luoyang. Then it's time to fuse them. You HAVE to put the Black Reaper card in the Right side of menu, then on the left a different item.. here's a list of the left side items you can use for the gloves.

• Five Elements Shoes
  
• Fanghuang Feather Boots
  
• Lightstream Shoes
  
• Lotus Armlet
  
• Asura Armlet

MAKE SURE you switch the item to the correct one you want to make by pressing RB to light it up before crafting, so do this to make 3x more gloves then equip those on your party members.

Five Elements Shoes can offer +20% Lightning Defence also, but only Septem and Li Jing can equip them. I had two in my items and don't know where I got them.

Fur Beast Coat from the 'DOMO STUDIO' is also a great source of Elemental protection it offers +40% on ALL Elements but there's only 1, and I don't know if you can get more or not via Fusion, everyone can equip this item. Let me know if you can get more please.

NO Helmet in game has any Lightning protection, so choose Dark protection for this, the 'Millennium' helmet for Nicole and Kama works best here. The 'Sacred Beast Crown' for Li Jing works best for him also, it grants 20% to 4 main elements that don't matter for this fight.

THE DOMO MANEUVER!
This item is got once you defeat the Bull, if you use it in battle it will strike for 9999 no matter what. There IS an achievement for STEAM, do 9999 damage in 1 hit, so head into battle and use it on a monster to get that achievement easily. Did I mention THIS item can be used over and over too?

As you already know, the final boss is in 'Han Chang'an' at that final room where you have the SAVE point, and where you opened the chest to choose 1 of three weapons for Septem so head back there and SAVE your game.

From the SAVE point head into the cave just to the North and prepare for a scene and the Final Boss.

Sutra's (or Magic Weapons) are equip-able items that will get stronger once you level them up. Each Sutra item has it's own specific amount of experience that it will need before you get the item's full potential in added bonus stats. Any of the Sutras that give defensive stat bonuses gives their full potential at 0%. For the achievement, you need only raise 23 of the 25 to max as 3 are counted as 1, depending on which path you choose to take in the Shaolin Temple.

🔍 OTHER THINGS! 🔎

╚═ Monster Taming!

Monster Taming is a skill Septem will discover during the early stages of the European Chapter of his adventure. This appears as an extra skill in battles for you to attempt to tame the enemy that you fight. NOT all enemies are tamable and these ones will show a red X on them when you try to tame them in battle.


Some monsters are allowed to be tamed, these ones are easier to catch when you lower their health (HP) down, the lower the better. Unfortunately, the game is so easy and your character(s) are so overpowered that getting a monster's HP low is often hard to do because you regularly 1-hit them.


What can I do with captured monsters..? Well, you can use them in 'Spirit Fusion' to gain better Monster Cards that you can equip on your characters for bonus stats. I recommend you catch a few of the same cards so you can experiment with 'Spirit Fusion' to earn some nice cards for equipping on your team.


Also, during battle you can go into 'ITEMS' and choose the 'LIVING' tab to choose a captured monster and summon it into battle. It has a timer bar and once it hits max it will appear and attack the monsters in battle. The monster summoned will last until the end of battle then you will need to use another card in the next battle, and so forth, i'd suggest keeping them for Fusion and Bosses.

╚═ Spirit Fusion!

Spirit Fusion is basically item combining. Most items you collect in the game can be combined into something else. The tabs in your menu that makes use of 'Fusion' are: Items, Equip, and Living.

To access the 'Fusion' menu open you menu and then press SHIFT(Keyboard) or Y (Gamepad) and a new menu will open.


You basically choose one item to place on the left card and then one item on the right card then you can combine those into some thing else.


You can view what the results will be of the fusion which is a huge plus for a system like this before you decide to fuse the two chosen items.


Once you reach and finish the 'Tian Shan' portion of the game the 'Sprit Fusion' changes, it now gives you an option to choose a reward from the East or West Continents when you combine two items, cards, equipment piece, etc.

╚═ Theft (Steal) List!

Once you obtain the 'Burglar Mask' in 'Tadmur' and equip it you'll get the ability to steal items from enemies. I recommend you level the 'Burglar Mask' to it's max proficiency because some of the items you can get will benefit you, especially the items that give increased permanent stat bonuses.


Once the mask is equipped you'll get a new battle menu command (Theft) that you can use to steal from the enemy, it does however take '15 Vitality' to use it each time, so keep check of your Vitality meter. Note, not every monster will have something to steal so I wont list those monsters here.


The list below shows the items available to steal from the enemy. I'll put this list in alphabetical order of 'Item Name', I will also sort them into groups too. For the stat-boosting items they add specific functions to characters in battle when used on a character, here's what they add..

• Strength = Attack strength.
  
• Stamina = Defence strength.
  
• Intelligence = Magic damage dealt.
  
• Agility = How fast action bar fills.

⚠️UNKNOWN STUFF!⚠️

There's a couple of things that I can't figure out with this game, these I will list below and if anyone can give clear instructions on what to do, or how to get, etc.. that would be much appreciated.


1. The Royal Knight Spear for Li Jing.
Can we get this item anywhere in game other than crafting it in Fusion menu? I am aware that apparently you need to get the item before Li Jing joins your party but I can't confirm this as I have no idea of any low level items you get earlier than China where you can Fuse for the spear. I know Caltrop + Flame Spirit or Bamboo Witch will make the weapon but by then Li Jing has joined you. Caltrop is bought in Chang'an which is after you get Li Jing IF I remember correct.

2. Nicole's Missing Weapon.
I'm missing Nicole's missing bow, i've no idea what one it is or how to get it. I have a feeling though it's a Fusion gained weapon and not found anywhere else in game.

3. The Mud Worm Gown.
Can we gain this item any other way other than trading the 7 weapons to the Weapon Trader in Chang'an? It's clearly the best elemental defence armour and would be useful for the few end game bosses, it's just a shame you have to sacrifice weapons and risk potential Achievements to get them.

For people looking to get all steam achievements : some of the bestiary entries are only available through fusion. Most can be found on this site : https://www.rpgsoluce.com/soluces/pc/xuan-yuan-sword-3/bestiaire/deity.htm

There's a clockwork entry that only gets added if you hand over the magic ores to the Luoyang shop (the one that gives the mantis) BEFORE giving the blueprints.
There's also 2 missing entries in the devil category; they can be obtained by fusing the "twin flawless dagger" with a "black reaper" monster and a "synna" monster. Swap the order of items in the fusion menu if it doesn't show.

Okay, the royal knight spear is unequippable regardless of when it's obtained, so unless if it's used in a fusion there's little point in going for it

Also bestiary lists a "Water keeper" as an iceberg enemy. It's actually a "water leaper". There's also a way to get boss catalogue data up to 100% in a single run by utilising multiple save files: save before boss in save slot A, beat boss, save in save slot B, reload save slot A, beat boss, rinse and repeat (because for some reason saving the game updates the catalogue/bestiary in every save slot)

@Ekajaja okay, I added in a small notes section under the pictures just below that section informing people of your find just in case they get stuck. I'm still a little baffled as to why no one else ipcked up on that step though, LOL! I'm sure there's a lot of things i missed that's extra in this game, there's so many carious branches the game has, which is another reason this guide is NOT a perfect 100% complete achievement guide, but it DOES get most of the achievements.
