This collection contains mods which are helpful for speedrunning but do not change how the game behaves within a run. Mods in this list and the Cosmetics collection are approved for speedruns.

Reasons for each mod:

Required for a valid speedrun with mods:
* KitchenLib - Adds the Mods menu to the options so you can display which mods are running during the run
* Harmony - required to run KitchenLib and some of the QOL mods
* Speedrun Mod Checker - Checks for active mods that are not approved for Speedrun.com runs

Speedrunning QOL (optional mods):
* Starting Meal Selector - Pre-run setup only, helps avoid exacerbating the memory leak issue
* Save System - Save time on seed entry and initial kitchen setup during day 1 prep (may be questionable because it's harder to tell if any items were brought in?)
* Extra Options - More layout/recipe options are available so you can spend less time re-rolling. (Be aware though, that it will make the memory leak worse.)
* Seed Explorer - reroll layouts without tutorial.
* Layout Generator - Similar to Seed Explorer, lets you reroll without tutorial. Can also choose which map sizes are generated, so it's helpful for targeting specific layouts for random seed runs.
* Preference System - Utility dependency that allows cosmetic mods.
