good news - this wallpaper is now can be run on Linux using Waywallen app
bad news - Waywallen is yet to support significant part of the Wallpaper Engine features, so:
- currently playing media is not displayed (you can hide it in user properties)
- properties that control shaders (background and audio visualizer) do not change anything
- you may need to change property twice for it to be applied (like Automatic Resolution or Aspect Ratio)
- if your screen aspect ratio is not 16:9, you may need to do some tinkering in app settings and wallpaper properties
but overall it works as intended, hope we get more features in Waywallen
P.S. to change resolution in which scene wallpapers are rendered you go to Status -> Components -> wescene-renderer -> gear icon on the right -> resolution
perhaps it's something with WE/Windows player
that's unlikely is something with the wallpaper itself, either Windows (Linux?) or Wallpaper Engine not doing the job right
we just use the media player feature built in the app
I'll check on my end in a few days

simple that.. i love this.
you now can set custom resolution for wallpaper to use (to calculate positions and scales) in properties
