Complete list of DLC, Add-ons, Extra Items etc. and how to get them !
By Prentice
This is the complete list of all the content you can possibly get for Dragon Age: Origins with information, explanation and instructions on how to acquire them !
What is this guide and how to use it ?
I created this guide because for a lot of people it was not clear which content they can have for the game Dragon Age: Origins and how they could get them.

My ultimate goal was that once you finish reading this guide you should be able to get all the content you can have for DA:O.

I hope this clears some of the confusion and helps some people.
The descripton on the store page says:
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition includes Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening and all nine content packs.

Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition includes:

Dragon Age: Origins------------------------(base game)

Dragone Age: Origins Awakening--------(expansion pack / DLC)

The Stone Prisoner-------------------------(Add-On) / sidequest in the main campaign
Warden's Keep------------------------------(Add-On) / sidequest in the main campaign
Return to Ostagar---------------------------(Add-On) / sidequest in the main campaign

The Golems of Amgarrak------------------(Other Campaign) / a new short campaign
The Darkspawn Chronicles----------------(Other Campaign) / a new short campaign
Leliana's Song-------------------------------(Other Campaign) / a new short campaign
Witch Hunt------------------------------------(Other Campaign) / a new short campaign

Feastday Gifts and Pranks----------------(Items)
Blood Dragon Armor------------------------(Items)

Add-On contents are like extra side-quests you can complete during your main campaign,
Other Campaigns are additional campaigns seperated from the main campaign and
Items are self explanatory.

Note: There is also another (Other Campaign) DLC called " A Tale of Orzammar[dragonage.wikia.com] " which was originally distributed through an issue of PC Gamer magazine.
Unfortunately it is not possible to acquire it officially in another way.

You will have all of these content above if you buy Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition on Steam.

If you are having problems with one or more of them, please go to the guide below and jump to No DLCs title.

If you have the normal edition of Dragon Age: Origins but still want to buy the nine content packs seperately, you can do it here:

However it is not posssible to buy them seperately on Steam.

You can still buy them from Bioware's website and register them to your Bioware/Origin account which also has your current game registered and you will have to download and install them from the website manually.

I still suggest buying the Ultimate Edition as it will be cheaper if you want to buy all the content that is available.

Promotional and Exclusive Items
If you want to get these items you first need to register your game on your Bioware/Origin account.

To do that;

  • Go to your Steam Library
  • Right click on Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition
  • Click on View CD Key
  • Now you can see both of your keys there.

  • You can register the main game key here[social.bioware.com]
(scroll down until you see Ultimate Edition for PC)

  • and the DLC key here[social.bioware.com] .

Create an account if necessary or you can use your Origin account if you have one.

Note: Make sure to register the main game key and the DLC key on the same account because keys are used only once. If you register it to a wrong account, you cannot use the same key again.

For those who are still looking for the DLCs, you can download them for free, even if you don't own the Ultimate Edition, on EA website : https://help.ea.com/en-ca/help/origin/origin/download-dlc-for-classic-origin-games/#dragonage

are you fucking kidding me bioware????????
logicsniper Mar 13, 2018 @ 5:19am
Anyone who dosen't have the ultimate edition of the game and wants any of these DLCs can get from Origin. Even if you bought your game on Steam, just use the game code to register on it on Origin, and then it will be added to your Origin library. Then all the DLC will be availble to you to buy.

actually the files are in the steam files and you go into and you simple click them i havnt played for ahile but thats what i did no drm included

@F0l2saken what the hell are you talking about?! All DLC's are installed WITH the game on steam and i have no origin instaled.
F0l2saken Feb 21, 2018 @ 3:42pm
This guide no longer works, biowares activation is down, meaning Steam has breached the contract made when purchasing this game. I did not sign any agreement when buying this game that I'd have to install extra DRM like Origin, which I will now be forced to do if I want to use the DLC I paid money for.

No thanks, time for a refund. I don't care how good the game is, if I purchase it on steam, I am NOT downloading any extra DRM like origins to play it. I purchased here, and it will work here, or It'll be refunded immediately.
