RUST I Best & Most Important Commands

The most important & necessary commands you'll need while playing Rust.

Perf Commands

Sets performance data to show at the bottom left of your screen

• perf 0 - Removes stats
  
• perf 1 - FPS
  
• perf 2 - Frame Latency
  
• perf 3 - RAM Usage
  
• perf 4 - Ping
  
• perf 5 - Invokes
  
• perf 6 - Tasks

Auto-run

On key press automatically runs forward for you

bind key forward;sprint

Auto-swim

Automatically swims forward for you without you needing to hold any buttons.

bind key forward;sprint;jump

Auto-duck

Automatically holds crouch button for you without you holding any buttons

bind key duck

Auto-attack (Soft Siding)

Automatically crouches and attacks for you, very useful while soft siding.

bind key +attack;+ duck

Auto-craft Bandage

Useful while fighting if you need bandages.

bind key craft.add -2072273936

Auto-crouch

You will crouch automatically when trying to jump on jump-ups. Useful if you can't jump well./h1]
input.autocrouch true

Upgrading Unreachable Walls

If you can't select a wall that you can see for example in triangle TC room just use this command.
Default is value is "20"

client.lookatradius 0.01

Audio Levels

Did you know that you can get audio levels higher than 1?
Write whatever value you want, although I wouldn't recommend going over 3.
While shooting on volume 5 everything is really loud and distorted.

audio.game 2
audio.master 2

Combatlog

Binds & Info

• combatlog - Shows a log of the previous damage events up to 30.
  
• combatlog 100 -Shows a log of the previous damage events up to 100.

You can also bind for it to show combatlog when you open console with this command:
bind f1 consoletoggle;clear;combatlog

Water Bind

This command partially works as there is a blue layer under the water.

bind key meta.if_true "water.quality 2";+meta.if_false "water.quality -2"

Before using this keybind make sure your water quality is set to 2 in your graphics settings.

Kill Bind

Whenever you press this keybind you will suicide.

Slight FPS Boost

Using this keybind you will get a slight FPS boost and a few advantages.

Effects.maxgibs -1 removes all debris from broken objects (walls, doors etc.)
Headlerp_inertia removes the smooth animation after you stop holding ALT
graphics.vm_fov_scale false - makes your gun skinnier

Auto-ADS Flashlight/Laser

While holding right click your laser/flashlight will turn on.

bind mouse1 +lighttoggle;+attack2

Unbind:
bind mouse1 +toggle;+attack2

Auto-mute Voices

Mutes players voices on key press

input.bind key audio.voices 0

Unbind:
input.bind key audio.voices 1

You can also bind a key once pressed it mutes, if you press it again it unmutes:
bind key "+audio.voices 0;audio.voices 1"

FOV Adjuster

On key press your fov will change between 90 and 70 FOV.

bind key "+fov 90;fov 70"

Remove Fish

This command will remove every fish in the ocean.

environmentfishmanager.maxfishdistance 0
environmentfishmanager.maxfishpertype 0

Auto-craft TC

This command will craft 10 TCs. It's used to stack wood.

Auto-craft Sheet Metal Doors

This keybind auto crafts Sheet Metal Double Doors. Useful for stacking metal fragments.

Hitmarker Sound

You will only hear the hitmarker sound if the hit wasn't a invalid.

hitnotify.notification_level 2

Remove Waves

Removes waves in the water.

graphics.waves "0"

Clear Console & Chat

Clear Console/h1]

Most of them save, waves don't save and the graphic settings so just use the FPS boost bind.
