Gas planets and their use
By lol
This guide will teach you everything you need about gas planets. (hopefully)

I pray that my 2 brain cells will make it easy to follow and bearable.

The basics of gas planets
Keep in mind that Gas Planets are useless before reaching Tier 4 residents.

To start off the guide, PLEASE, start with placing down the -->Oxygen extractor station<-- on your planet. YOU WILL NEED IT.

By now you should be familiar with *how* to colonise planets but just in case...

To colonise a gas planet you need to:
- Load your spaceship with 5x Bricks and 15x Steel (Cost of FLOATING spaceport). Then fly your ship over to the gas planet (duh).
- Once you are there, just press the Colonise button, you know, the little house button. And yes, it is that easy.
Planet development
After colonising a gas planet, you need to set a trade route to provide the planet with oxygen.

You will not develop your planet without oxygen. Don't even try to say I didn't tell you.

Step 1: We must put down the Methane extractor station and power plant. Methane extractor uses oxygen to gather Methane (surprise), and power plant uses Methane and Oxygen to power our Gas Planet.

Step 2: Now that you have extra power, you can place down the Hydrogen extractor station. With that, you are extracting all the resources Gas Planets have to offer. Feel free to place more buildings, although there isn't a huge demand for these resources.

Processing resources from a Gas Planet (Helium)
This is the only Gas Planet resource we need to process, to do that, simply transfer Hydrogen onto another planet, that has, you know, ground. Then place the Nuclear fusion reactor and it will turn 2 Hydrogen into Helium!

Uranium & Plutonium
While both aren't a part of gas planets, they are used for construction together with Methane and Hydrogen. On top of that, the process is pretty simple, so why not.

Step 1: Mine Uranium, it is on every Desert type planet.
Steps 2 & 3: Plutonium. Place the Fuel rod factory, which will turn Uranium into Fuel Rods. Then put down a Nuclear power plant on the coast, preferably next to your workers, because nothing can go wrong. Surely.
The nuclear power plant will then produce Plutonium, for each 3 Fuel Rods used.

Use of Gas Planets
Resources from Gas Planets are used in military and energy production.

Interplanetary Rockets
Methane and Hydrogen are used to make boom boom! On top of that, you will need Uranium, Plutonium, and Steel.

Interplanetary Laser
Helium is used to power the Interplanetary Laser. All you need is 5 Helium. Yep, just 5.

Energy production
A nuclear fusion reactor provides 500 Energy while turning Hydrogen into Helium.
That's it.
If you made it this far, congrats, I wouldn't.
