Halo 2 Lost Sample Maps

Description
Halo 2 for PC originally came with fully built sample maps to test out mod tools. Halo 2 only had one example map but it turns out there were two more that were made but never included.
- Beach Battle
- Earthcity
- Example

Now with the release of Digsite content, this mod has no sense, if you want this maps and more fully working download this map pack instead:

so why is the example map i have, have no spawn points are weapons in the mod tools?

i still find it interesting with the release if the sample maps. it told new people back then for what the design choice of each aesthetic should be. the covenant one honestly did show off their asthmatic the best. The human one did a good job showing off the human aesthetic. Forunner feels like interpretation but i can see what they tried telling people for their style.

i used to play earth city on h2 Vista with friends, one of our favorite maps... never knew it was a template. thanks for bringing it to mcc :)

Example map is in the H2EK for H2V, is it in for mcc?

tags and maps like beach battle, earthcity can be extracted using The
H2PC_TagExtraction, by General_101 and Num0005. you will need to fix shaders (they'll be empty inside), and relight the maps afiak. maybe some other things.

Man, it's so fascinating to play these. Discovering new things about a game a we love and playing what would normally be impossible is awesome.
