Manik's a Decade Later Retexture

2025: Hey everyone, a quick note from me. I had nearly completed an updated and pretty interesting version of this mod some time ago but stopped my efforts at the time because there was a lot of teasing that B42 was about to drop--which as it turns out wasn't the case. However, its finally here and I feel like I owe it to everyone to push out some improved content. I'm resuming work on modding and have been going through the new B42 files. I believe that I can do some cool stuff now but my current mods will need restructuring and re-evaluation before I can update them to B42. If you feel the need to use my current mods with B42, you'll need to make an adjustment to the file structure manually. I won't explain the steps here, but there are numerous posts online explaining the steps.

Manik’s "a Decade Later" aims to supplement the 10 Years Later mod by applying grittier textures to most world objects. There are two variations of this mod, please only use one at a time. The vanilla + grime version uses all the default tiles but applies a weathered texture to them. Manik’s Tiles + grime has a number of tiles which have been retextured with 90’s American styled ads or designs to keep in theme with the setting of the game. Again, please only choose one at a time. They are both save file safe and can be disabled or interchanged at anytime without issues. Currently, there is no vehicle retexturing but I do intend on branching into that in the future. Lastly, I want to thank everyone for the support, this mod was originally just a fun project I started for a friend's server but its blown up and I appreciate all of you for it!

Additional Info: For those who are new to modding with texture files, please make sure that you have enabled both “texture compression” AND “double-sized textures” in your game options. If you find that the scale is incorrect in your game, this is likely why and will be a quick fix. It is pretty standard for retextures and most users won’t need to make any adjustments.

I also recommend using the “Clean Dirt” Mod as this will allow you to clean the grime from walls. This is very useful for those of you who want to re-paint or just have tidy walls.
