Anyway , this is a server addon that will censor/filter out unwanted words. In most cases , racism and other annoying stuff most players find clever and funny nowdays. If you want to filter out more stuff , just decompile the .gma (although I hate people that decompile my stuff) and follow the instructions inside the Lua file.

it's amazing what you can do by rewriting a function composited of 100 newsplits into just five lines of code:

function Filter(pl, text, team, death)
for k,v in pairs(FilterTable) do text=string.gsub(text, k, v) end
return text
end
hook.Add("PlayerSay", "FilterHook", Filter);

o wait, you said double letters don't seem to work...that explains why i couldn't get it to work on a certain slur containing "gg" (hint: it's not an abbreviation for "good game")

I don't know how to code, but i looked into the lua and edited a ton of words in. For the most part it worked afterward, however some words with double letters such as ones containing nn and tt seem like they may not work for some reason? Besides that it seemed to work pretty well. Thank you for creating this mod though, really helps with gmod's slur problem :)
