Greenlit! Release date is the 1st of may!
Beta Demo #3 is out! Will you take the time challenge?
Release date: 2015

quadrant is a difficult rhythm game with animations that get more and more intense the better you play

Every beat of the song, you have to state the position of the middle sized square - the faster the song is, the faster you have to play!

Each level is animated differently and is supposed to be a visual interpretation of the song, providing a synesthetic experience.
Due to that, every stage feels unique and there is a motivation to reach higher scores to unlock more animations.
It also increases the difficulty, because you will first have to get used to the different visual effects you encounter.

The game will start "relatively easy" in the first few stages and then get punishingly difficult later in the game...

With your help, quadrant could be on steam this year!
Please share this page with all your friends anyone who has a steam account and we can make this happen!
Thank you very much!

  • Challenging gameplay
  • Very steep learning curve
  • Low system requirements
  • Fully moddable
  • NO digital restrictions management (DRM)

  • Super Hexagon
  • Bit.Trip Runner
  • Simian Interface...

I'm planning to release quadrant in may.
There's still a lot of work that remains to be done, like a menu for detailed stats about how you play and where your weaknesses are.
Depending on how much sleep I need, some features might have to be added after release... ;)

game is awesome, you should make a "shuffle" mode where it randomly uses different animations for each beat. a level with no preset pattern, the box might rotate one beat and jump or slide the next. still though great game, my new favorite =)

I would go to 5 to 8 dollars and maybe add a demo for people that are still thinking of buying.

Good job on the trailer. The game look fun and the music is just perfect.

Voted Yes.

PS : IMO it would be fun to play that on a phone or a tablet, just saying...

I'm not entirely sure yet about the price, but given that I am developing this game on my own and that I can not create the same amount of content as quickly as a game studio, the price should be fairly low (just enough for me to survive and make another game^^).
For exact pricing I will probably listen to what Steam recommends as soon as this game is greenlit.

What do you guys think?
What would be a fair price?
