Castrop-Rauxel Map - Beta 0.7.3

IMPORTANT! To use this map you must activate the beta version of The Bus!

This map will (when it is finished) be a true-to-scale replica of Castrop's old town (Altstadt) and all the lines running there at the Castrop-Rauxel Münsterplatz bus station, so it will also contain lines far to Dortmund, Bochum, Herne and Recklinghausen.

Because there are some very hilly routes in the area, we decided to use a "real" 3D map (with elevation information), even if that significantly increases the effort involved in creating the map.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to build every/many buildings true to the original, but we still try to make the map as beautiful as possible so that you can have fun with it and get a feel for the original locations.

Attention: This map is still incomplete and beta. For now, only one lap of the old town (Altstadt) is open with the fictitious line E and a section of line 341 (up to the "Althes Rathaus") to test the old town and give a first impression.

In addition to improvements to the Altstadt of Castrop, we are currently working on line 341, which will also run through very narrow, winding and steep streets in residential areas. Internally we call the line “Only something for bus drivers with nerves of steel” :-)
