Extended Managers Library temporary fix

Description

WARNING: UNSTABLE. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEW GAMES.
This mod has a number of bugs and stability issues, and is not recommended for new games. It is provided here as an attempt to help players with existing cities using Extended Managers Library/Prop Anarchy continue their saves without having to redo their work.
Why remove Extended Managers Library?
The author of EML has left C:S modding and his mods (including Extended Managers Library, Prop Anarchy, and Tree Anarchy) are now abandoned.

These mods were useful prototype experiments in different ways of doing things. However, as prototypes, they all use a very non-standard codebase and have some fundamental issues that can't realistically be resolved by anything other than a full rewrite.

I've made "temporary fix" versions of these original mods to keep them working with game version 1.16 so that people's saves weren't lost. However, given the current state of these mods and the nature of their codebase, I'm not in a position to anything more. While I will attempt to keep them operational, I cannot guarantee success, and there's a chance that they will break completely in the future. There will also be no fixes for the bugs they contain.

Therefore it's highly recommended that people currently using Extended Mangers Library migrate away as soon as possible to protect their saves. I've created the Remove EML mod to help with this.

Stable modern replacement functionality for most of EML and Prop Anarchy is contained in the new mods Prop Control, Visibility Control, and Line Tool.

There is currently no direct replacement for EML's expanded prop limit; however, remember that props placed with BOB, Intersection Marking Tool, and Procedural Objects do NOT count towards the prop limit. Using these mods is the recommended (and more stable) alternative to expanding the prop limit.

INVISIBLE CITY ON LOAD?
Quitting the game and trying again may resolve the issue. If it doesn't, then there's nothing I can do; as noted above, this mod has bugs and instability.

This is not my mod; I've only taken it over to try to keep people's saves working after the next update (I may or may not succeed in that, but I'll at least try). I don't pretend to have any particular expertise with its use, or with any problems that might arise. If you have problems, I'll do my best to help, but I cannot guarantee anything.

Note that I cannot do ANYTHING without seeing your output log. Please don't post about any problems without including a link to your output log, and no, "me too" posts really are NOT helpful.

DO NOT PASTE ERROR TEXT INTO THE DISCUSSION. That is the exact opposite of helpful. Post a link to your uploaded output log instead.

@rhmgerards I am not sure I completely understand your issue, I essentially had the same thing except the map was empty once I loaded a save AFTER unsubbing to EML/PA. after testing for a while, I suspected the save was corrupted somehow. I loaded the last save I had from before Race Day release. That worked fine, so I did the migrate process and most of my props were saved, albeit often at 0 elevation.

@algernon , any chance this will be compatible with move it again?

Is there anyway to get this mod back for the latest patch? I trid to migrate but all my hand placed props and trees are missing :(

@rhngerards yeah I got the same thing, when I replace EML and PA with Prop Control, my city comes back but most of my props are missing. I don't know if I was over the prop limit, but its a real shame that we have a much lower prop limit now thanks to the new update. Also weirdly enough, when I un-pause my city garbage instantly piles up at every single building, I don't know what caused the issue but I'm loading my city with different mods disabled to see if I can find the issue.

@tegijohn With EML and Prop Anarchy the entire map is empty, without these mods I can load my saves properly with all buildings and networks and stuff in place, but obviously with a lot of props and trees missing. Since I was far beyond the vanilla prop/tree limits it's not worth it for me to migrate to Prop Control, I lost too much detailing.

@rhmgerards do you mean your save is permanently broken now? Like its not possible to fix anymore? Because I tried loading my save for the first time after the update and I'm able to get into my save, but literally everything in my city is gone (all buildings, roads, etc) and there's 0 population and 0 money for some reason. Even the water which came with the map is gone. I am trying to migrate to Prop Control now, but I've already tried it in the past and it always broke my save back then. I'll let you know how it goes, but I hope this doesn't mean my city (which I've been working on for almost 4 years) isn't gone forever.

Unfortunately it broke completely now and I can't load my save anymore with this (and prop anarchy) enabled. I know the advise was to migrate to other mods but in the city I had been working on for years I placed too many props and too much work in it for it all to migrate so I chose not to, hoping the game wouldn't get updated anymore :')

Are there any developments towards a successor yet? I have massive problems with my props and can no longer adjust their height, let alone place trees on other things. I tried the other mods like Prop Control but unfortunately it doesn't work
