Also,I think I found an uninteded solution as I didn't exactly need to use the death-laser cube-button:

Nice puzzle! Once I figured out the "trick", it was super fun! As a bonus, if you really wanted, you could add an extra step to it by making the player have to use the funnel to get to the exit, but this is pretty fun already!
