Upgrade achievements
These are among the easier achievements to get, although probably a bit time consuming. The only thing really stopping you from unlocking these is the time restraint and the lack of income. Once a day ends you will eventually start getting e-mails about possible food upgrades. Simply upgrade them at your leisure
Note- Specialty foods are unlocked after you get your two star restaurant which are:
Coffee, Hashbrowns, Breakfast Sandwhich, Pancakes, Sushi, Friend Rice, Lobster, Banana Fosters, Kabob and Enchiladas.
Note2- In NG+ all foods are ready to be bought in the beginning ( as long as you have the appropriate equipment)

  • Two Star foods achievement
For this specific achievement you have to fully upgrade these foods:
    - Coffee
    - Hashbrowns
    - Beer
    - Fried Chicken
    - Soda Fountain
  • Three Star foods achievement
Foods that need to be upgraded:
    - Pancakes
    - Stacked Enchiladas
    - French Fries
    - Salad
    - Ice Cream
    - Breakfast Sandwhich

  • Four Star Food Achievements
    • Four Star Chicken
    • Four Star Fish
    • Four Star Lasagna
    • Four Star Nachos
    • Four Star Pasta
    • Four Star Baked Potato
    • Four Star Foster
    • Four Star Fried Rice
  • Five Star Food Achievements
    • Five Star Burger
    • Five Star Kabob
    • Five Star Lobster
    • Five Star Soup
    • Five Star Steak
    • Five Star Sushi
    • Five Star Wine

1,000-15,000 Served and Pin Achievements
These are probably the most time consuming achievements in the game. Considering that when you start out you are probably getting maybe a tops of up to 50 customers... it is going to take you quite a while to get to that 15k mark. Since all of these achievements have to do with how many certain customers you serve and in what category there doesn't need to be too much of an explanation. There is already another short guide on steam that explains what categories certain foods are in and it should prove useful for that purpose. I will however provide you with some tips that may help things go along faster.

You can check both your total customers served and how many foods you've served in each category by clicking the stars on the left bottom corner of your main menu. It will display the checklist for your next star, but most importantly (for this section), clicking on the trophy at the top right corner will lead you to your stats.

It is important to note that having different save files will NOT make your total counter go up
Different files do not add up. The only exception is after you beat the game by getting a platinum star restaurant and get NG+ for the rest of your empty file slots. The new file you start will take on the previous stats from the platinum star restaurant but not from other files. After you make a NG+ file however, your stats won't add up to the one where you made the platinum star.

I would recommend finishing the majority of the food pin achievements in the file you will make your platinum restaurant in. You especially want to finish the exotic/ breakfast foods pin achievement in normal mode because in extreme mode it is pretty hectic( due to the difficulty of the foods). When done with the foods pin achievements you can start a NG+ and carry your stats over to possibly finish those 15k customers ( if you haven't already)
1 Star- 3 Star Restaurants
Most of these are pretty easy. All the star achievements require a 20 day service period and a certain amount of special events or other things done. You can check your list by clicking on the stars on the left bottom corner of your main menu or after you finish a day. It will look like this:

All you have to do is simply complete the checklist to move onto the next level. It is not all too difficult. The only exception to these might be the higher level star restaurants.

  • 1 Star Restaurant
As seen in the screenshot above, this is of course the easiest level restaurant considering its the first checklist. Buy a tipjar, buy some foods, complete twenty days, pass a safety inspection and gain the appropriate buzz. The only thing that might take you a bit is the 100$ in tips. To make this go along faster read the food descriptions to see which of these foods are 'big tippers'

  • 2 Star Restaurant
Similar checklist. 20 days of service, pass 2 safety inspections, upgrade some foods and buy some stations. The one different thing you must do is participate in 2 catering services which are unlocked once you hit the one star level. You will start unlocking various events as time goes on.

The full list for the catering services looks like this:

Its better to knock off the easier events first like the Drinks a plenty and Fried Foods Fun to gain your two star restaurant. Those simply consist of serving beers and sodas, or a variety of fried foods which are all relatively easy to make.

  • 3 Star Restaurant and the full Catering Services.
Similar checklist to the last two star checklists. Get the right amount of combos a certain amount of days, the positive buzz, buy and upgrade more foods. The hardest thing about this achievement is probably completing the Catering Services.

Like shown in the previous screenshot, there are a total of 7 catering services available by the time you're almost done with your 3 star checklist. I mentioned the easier ones to do with your two star restaurant but now you have to suck it up and go for all of them. Here is a detailed explanation of each event and its requirements ( all of them have a limit of three bad orders)
    • Burger/ Pizza Party ( 2 minutes on the clock, must serve 15 people)
Now, this one might be a bit tough for beginners if they have yet to try out either the pizza or the burger. Foods like the burger require extra prep time after cooking so they can be difficult if you don't keep your eye on them. The last thing you want to do is burn your orders before you actually get to prepare them. Make sure you at least keep a few seconds seperate from cooking each burger. If you see three burgers down the line do NOT cook them all in order right away. That is the quickest way to possibly not get to your last burger in time to prepare it before it burns.
    • Fried Foods Fun ( 2 minutes on the clock, must serve 18 people)
      Foods: French Fries, Sopapillas.
One of the easiest ones. These fried foods are generally very easy to make. You really shouldn't have any problem with these. Just watch the bad orders.
    • Drink-A-Plenty (1.5 minutes on the clock, must serve 20 people)
      Foods: Beer, soda
The easiest among all the catering events, you really should have no problem with this one. The only thing that might hurt you a bit is the time constraint but they are relatively simple orders to make.
    • Smorgasbord ( 2 minutes on the clock, must serve 16 people, those orders must be perfect)
      Foods: Pretzel, Corndog, Lasagna
The thing that might be difficult about this catering event is the Lasagna. If you get even one layer wrong on it, it is automatically a bad order. The pretzel and corndog should be pretty easy but make sure to accurately place down the layers each go.
    • Eats and Treats ( 2 minutes on the clock, must serve 22 people)
      Foods: Nachos, Ice Cream
The Ice Cream is relatively easy, the Nachos however can vary. Some of its recipes just have maybe two or three ingredients but some require you to first cook ground meat. Like the burger, try not to immediately do nacho orders consecutively as they may require cooking. Wait at least 2-3 seconds before clicking on consecutive nacho orders. Or maybe you'll get lucky and get some relatively easy orders. Its up to you how you want to handle it.
    • Layered Goodness ( 2 minutes on the clock, must serve 18 people)
      Foods: Lasagna, Burger
Now, this one can get tricky as you try to balance out your burgers. Make sure not to let any burger orders burn before you have a chance to actually prepare them. It might take a few tries if you're not good with doing burger orders yet.
    • Smorgasbord Deluxe ( 2 minutes on the clock, must serve 26 people, orders must be perfect)
Foods: Pretzel, Sopapillas, Corndog, Ice Cream
These are among the easiest foods to make in the game, the hardest part about this would just be the amount of orders you have to make and the fact that all those orders have to be perfect. You still shouldn't have too much of a problem with it as long as you're fast enough
The Miscellaneous
  • Ryan Davis Burger Achievement
Relatively easy, you can get it right away. All you have to do is buy the burger and wait for the order "Ryan Davis" Simple as following the recipe card.
  • Robbery
Another simple achievement. Just don't buy the security upgrade in the equipment menu and wait for a robber ( Most likely to happen sometime after you earn your 1 star restaurant. Buying the security upgrade can delay your first robbery to the 3 star level). Accurately pick the traits in the description box and voila! Your awesome drawing skills now have the ability to stop crime. Just be sure to buy your security upgarde afterwards, it's a hassle dealing with robberies after all.
  • The VIP Treatment
Superstars, they won't bat an eyelash at your restaurant unless you've been deemed worthy of the 4 stars. All you really need to do for this achievement is wait until you get en e-mail that asks for reservations. Simply accept it and cater to whatever foods they want on your menu. When it comes time to serve them, prioritize them and try not to get their orders wrong. You should get the achievement after you successfully make it throughout the day without upsetting them with bad orders.
  • Perfect Day
A somewhat challenging achievement if you're just starting out. The best thing to primarily do is to find foods that you're comfortable with and then buy all the upgrades that make customers more patient, like the table bread and air conditioner. You should also take priority in buying equipment that halves your chores. If you're still having trouble with this achievement you could always leave items on your menu and let them achieve 'menu rot' to detract buzz from your next day. You could always just put three simple items on your list to easily get this achievement. I would recommend the beer, pretzel and corndog as the easiest option. ( That is if you're still able to use them at this point)
  • Rare Perfect Day
Possibly one of the more difficult challenges in normal mode. It can be rather easy however if you put three items on your menu. Since you have to do this perfect day with a 4 star restaurant you won't be able to use 1 star food items like the pretzel and corn dog anymore. Recommended items are foods like the Beer, fish, chicken breast, steak and maybe some of the fried foods items. If you still have difficulty you can also wait for menu rot and buy all possible upgrades if you haven't already (like mentioned in the Perfect Day section). Most customer patience items and chore equipment upgrades can be bought before the 20 day period.
4-5 Star Restaurant and Iron Cook
  • 4 Star-5 Restaurant
So now you are after the much sought after 4 star restaurant and you'll probably follow it up with the 5 star right?. Well this time you will have to pass even more safety inspections, gain more buzz, upgrade more items and serve your usual twenty days of service. Should be common procedure by now. What makes this achievement stand out is that you have to start on your way towards being the next Iron Chef. You will need to beat several of the iron chef challenges to earn your four star level but to get to your 5 Star level Restaurant you will need to become the next Iron Chef and beat all the challenges it has to offer as well as the Semi-Finals and Finals.

The Iron Cook Challenges are probably one of the harder challenges you will face on your way to becoming the ultimate chef. With another 7 events that you have to finish in order to claim the title, it should prove to be one of your most difficult challenges yet. This time around you will have to face 5 waves of foods in each challenge, make every order perfect and only have a maximum of up to two orders gone wrong in order to beat the challenge.

Note: it is best to knock out the easier challenges first if you're going for the four star rating. You can't unlock (play) the Semi-Finals and Finals without beating the main 5 challenges. Every time you beat a challenge you will also be awarded a large sum of money and a few mysterious tickets.

Here is the full list of the Iron Cook Challenges and what you should expect:

  • Diner Challenge (difficulty: easy)
    Foods: Ice Cream and Soda
    • 1st Wave- 8 ice cream dishes
The first wave of foods consist of a full row of 8 ice cream dishes. This wave should be simple and the only strategy you need is to finish these ASAP
    • 2nd Wave- 6 ice cream dishes and 2 soda servings
This second wave consists of 3 ice cream dishes and a soda as a small 4 grouping mini wave, followed by another identical one. Like the previous wave this one should prove very easy.
    • 3rd Wave- 8 soda servings
This wave will send out one soda order at you at a time.
    • 4th Wave- 4 ice cream dishes/ 4 sodas
You'll need to take care of the orders in 2 this time around
    • 5th Wave- 8 ice cream dishes
Unlike the first wave, this particular wave will be much faster.
  • American Challenge ( difficulty: moderate)
    Foods: Burger, Pizza, Beer
    • 1st Wave- Mix of all three foods
This first wave isn't all too difficult. Watch out for the burgers as they have a tendency to burn if you don't attend them fast enough
    • 2nd Wave- 8 beers
The easiest wave on this challenge. Just pour your life away.
    • 3rd Wave- 4 pizzas/ 4 beers
You'll have to deal with a wave of 4 pizzas in the beginning, soon followed by 4 beers. Just make sure not to let the orders recede before you can make them.
    • 4th Wave- 6 burgers/ 2 beers
NOW it gets difficult. This is the hardest wave in the bunch and the whole reason why I classify this challenge as a moderate challenge is because of the string of burgers. On their own burgers aren't always too challenging but when prepared in a large string of orders like that, you can easily mess up and find yourself burning or missing multiple orders. Since the orders are always different you're going to have to decide if you want to wait a while before cooking some or taking your chances and seeing if the order doesn't need 'cooking' Your best bet is to take some orders right away and wait a few seconds for others
    • 5th wave- 4 beers/ 2 pizzas/ 2 burgers
This challenge definitely isn't as difficult as the last wave but be attent and don't rest yet until you have it done.
  • Italian Challenge (difficulty: high! recommended doing last before the semi-finals)
    Foods: Wine, Pasta, Lasagna
    • 1st Wave- 2 pasta/ lasagna/ wine
The first wave is not too terribly difficult, just make sure you don't let the pastas burn before you have a chance to prepare them
    • 2nd Wave- 8 pasta
This is half the reason why I placed this challenge on high difficulty. Doing just this section might take you a few tries. Pastas are very troublesome to make in strings, much more when there is a max of 8 of them! Expect to be annoyed a bit. The same as the burger, if you decide to cook all the pastas in order right away you are definitely going to have some problems. They are going to burn. Leave a small time frame in between boiling pastas and try to prepare them ASAP.
    • 3rd Wave- 6 lasagna
This one definitely is not as annoying and you shouldn't fail this one (unless you're just horrible at making lasagna.) Make sure you know all the recipes as it could potentially mess you up if you get a layer wrong.
    • 4th Wave- mix of wine/ pasta/ lasagna
Also not as difficult, but it can become troublesome if you let the pastas burn or don't know your lasagna recipes.
    • 5th Wave- 8 pastas
OH GOD NOT AGAIN. Yes... again. You're going to have to deal with this bull again. You might even need to go back to your main menu, practice your pastas and remember the recipes in order to do this full challenge. You can do it however, this is still not the hardest challenge this game has to offer.
  • Fried Challenge ( difficulty: easy)
Foods: Sopapillas, French Fries, Fried Chicken
    • 1st Wave- 4 sopapillas/ 4 french fries
You'll get the sopapillas first then the french fries. Really easy, no explanation needed.
    • 2nd Wave- 2 fried chicken/ 4 sopapillas
The fried chicken is still a very easy food to prepare, you should have no problems with this either.
    • 3rd Wave- 5 french fries/ 3 sopapillas
Also extremely easy, but you should note that at this point they have upgraded the french fries and have slightly different orders than in the first wave.
    • 4th Wave- 6 french fries
By this point they have upgraded the fries to the maximum, calling for three different types of condiments but it should still be easy.
    • 5th Wave- 4 sopapillas/ 2 french fries/ 2 sopapillas
Just a mix of the previous foods. All in all this iron cook challenge was one of the easiest. Possibly the easiest.
  • Carnival Challenge (difficulty: easy)
    Foods: corn dogs/ pretzels
    • 1st Wave- 8 corn dogs
Way too easy! just squirt at those weenies.
    • 2nd Wave- 8 pretzels
Another easy challenge, just do everything fast because these 1 star foods are the most simple in all the game
    • 3rd Wave- 4 corn dogs/ 4 pretzels
Just dash through these, they won't stand in your way.
    • 4th Wave- mixed order of both
      Another easy challenge to decimate
    • 5th Wave- 8 pretzels (again?)
There is absolutely nothing hard about this challenge. As long as you can do all of these waves fast they should not slow you down in the attempt to become the next Iron Cook!
Iron Cook (continued)
  • The Semi-Finals ( difficulty: moderate-high? possibly the hardest for some)
    Foods: Soup
I am a bit biased with this challenge. Everyone considers the soup to possibly be one of the hardest foods in the game to prepare. They are probably correct, however I started out with the soup without really knowing of its difficulty. Throughout trial and error I perfected my soup abilities and soon I never ever took it out of my menu, not even in the hardest day. I would highly recommend trying to use the soup regularly as you're really going to need it here and later on. Most guides will tell you to stay away from the soup, but we're not beginners now are we? Also, check out the soup guide here on steam. It will really help you with your soup building.

Now about the semi-final challenge... Since every wave consists of just soup, I see no point in listing individual waves for this challenge. The only thing to note different about them is that each wave brings a new upgrade to the soup. In that logic:
    1st wave- Level 1 soups
2nd wave- Level 2 and below soups
3rd wave- Level 3 and below soups
    etc...

Soups are generally difficult to prepare and have some very diverse recipes. That's the hardest thing about them. However, the good thing about soups is they have quite a bit of time on them before they burn after your prepare them. Use that to your advantage as much as possible. Take some time to look at the guide and at least memorize where the ingredients are. If needed, arrange your keys to how you feel most comfortable with them.

  • The Finals (difficulty: moderate-high)
Finally, you've made it this far. There's no going back now. You can probably already taste the impending victory of being close to not only achieving a five star restaurant, but also gaining the Iron Cook achievement.
Foods: beer, baked potato, steak, chicken breast, fish
    • 1st Wave- 8 beer
Okay, starting out its really a very easy first wave. It should give you no problems whatsoever.
    • 2nd Wave- 8 baked potatos
Oh great... another extra prep food item. You're probably not going to like this one. Like the burger and pasta, you'll need to first cook this item before adding anything to it. You start cooking these by simply picking up the order. They can be rapidly cooked in succession but it is also a bad idea to do that. If you get stuck in an order you might accidentally have some of them burn or miss some of the incoming orders. Its best to also wait at least a few seconds before 'cooking' each one. Take the time to memorize where the ingredients are and which keys/ buttons you've put each ingredient on. It might take you a few tries at first but it CAN be done. This is probably the hardest wave in this challenge.
    • 3rd Wave- 4 steak/ 4 chicken breast
The most complicated part about this wave is probably the steak. The steak however, is not too hard a food to master. The chicken breast is also quite easy as it is prepared the same way every time/ regardless of order or even level upgrades. Just make sure to properly read the steak order recipes so you won't make mistakes.
    • 4th Wave- 8 chicken breast
Easy! just pound away at those sweet tender succulent breasts, but don't forget to season them.
    • 5th Wave - 8 fish
Moderately easy. The fish is one of the easier foods to make in the game as well. The first few fish will be level 1 and 2 fish and you will only need to cut and season them to cook them properly. Watch the last few fish however as they may require you to add some extra lemon. You don't want to be so close to victory only to be stopped by a few un-lemoned fish.

Once you finish these THAT IS IT. You are now the new Iron Cook
Click N' Start
This achievement is also fairly easy, as long as you read the e-mails and properly invest your money when the time comes, you should have this achievement sometime during your 4-5 star restaurant

  • Click N' Start Investments
During the course of your chef career at Cook Serve Delicious! you will eventually come across your first e-mail asking you to invest money in projects that will make your restaurant more efficient. Something like this:

The person will ask you for a certain amount of funds to start the project. You have 2 days to choose to invest in the project or not. It will also give you the option to either fully fund the project or only partially fund it. While partially funding the project is of course cheaper it only yields you a certain percentage probability of it being successful. Those probability chances usually are from 30-70%. It is better recommended to fully invest in the projects, which can be around $2000-$3000, but will always get you the completed result. You can still choose to partially fund these but it might take you longer to get the achievement. If you don't have any money to fund them you could always wait a day and try to get income first.

    Some Notes:
    - There are around five or so of these during the course of your game.
    - Each one you complete will make some chores/ customer patience better.
    - The results of your investments are shown two days later.
    - Even if you fail an investment you get a refund.
    - These projects will rotate throughout your game so don't worry if you miss or fail one.
    - Some items you get will be visible during your game ( like chrome toilets and better sponges).

The Love Chef
  • The Love Chef
As if working through an extremely busy day worrying about getting your orders perfect, what investments you need to make and what foods you should serve wasn't difficult enough, now you have to date people WHILE you are working. However, you actually shouldn't be worried. These dates can be a bit annoying but they're not too difficult to complete.

Right around the time you hit your second star you will get an e-mail asking you about making a profile on a dating site and it will give you the option of choosing what gender you want to date.
After some more time (around 3rd star) you will eventually start getting e-mails from love interests. They will give you a short description of what they like and what food they prefer eating. Once you accept the date make sure you have the food they like on your active menu. This can be a bit annoying if you don't particularly like preparing the food they want but its okay, you only have to do it that day they visit.

Your love interest will stop by sometime after the first rush hour (12 AM) but right before the second one (6 PM) They will ask for an order of their favorite food with a little heart by their order, signifying its them. Make sure to prioritize their meal and get it right for best results. Not only will they want food but they'll decide to text you after the 6 PM rush hour and you'll have to reply or risk being rejected and not getting a successful date. They will start a short conversation with you and you'll have to wait for a prompt and text back something nice.

Always make sure to read them properly or you might get the wrong answer and they'll break up with you on the spot. You will probably wind up missing many of the foods while you're attending your lover but thats okay. What they give you is worth more than a few missed meals and you really will want it.

So what do they give you exactly?
After you successfully date them three times they will always break up with you to pursue a big dream of theirs or due to some life change. But since you left such a positive mark in their lives you will be awarded with a certain amount of mysterious tickets. You will really need these later on to compete in the hunger festivities ( more on that later) and each one is worth about $2000 if you need to buy them invidividually later on in the game. There are also only about 5-6 total dates, so make sure you tackle these in the right way as they start appearing. Even if you miss some or accidentally get your date to break up with you, these will rotate around as the game progresses so don't worry too much.

Note: Best to complete all dates in the same file.
Note2: In order to get the achievement you need to SUCCESSFULLY date everyone. That means 3 times without a breakup.
Hungry Festivities
Ohhhh yessss this is it. You've taken all the catering opportunities, and have even become the next Iron Cook. So what's next on your list? Being supreme ninja chef of course ( that isn't really the title but it would be awesome if it was.)

Now we're ready to talk about the dojo and all the challenges that await you inside. These are in fact the hardest challenges in the normal game, so be prepared. Luckily I can help you prepare by informing you of what's to come.

This is your full challenges menu. You will first start unlocking challenges around the time of your 4 star restaurant. However, you won't have all of them until after well into the 5 star restaurant. Even if you've revealed the events, you will need a good amount of mystery tickets to unlock each challenge. Each challenge requires you to use 8 golden mystery tickets, making that a total of 56 total mystery tickets! That can be quite an amount to have if you haven't been taking every dating opportunity to take your love interests' golden fortunes. If you've already gotten all the golden tickets there are to get from dating and the Iron Cook challenges then the only option left is to either randomly receive them in e-mails or buy them personally from the equipments menu. They are $2000 each so you're going to have to cough up a bit of cash if you're missing too many of them.

  • Hungry Festivities Rules and Methods
Remember how back in the catering services and Iron Cook challenges you had a set number of strikes that saved your butt just in case you messed up? Well... you can forget about those here. Aspiring Chef Ninjas don't make mistakes and there is no such thing as an average or bad order in this tournament. One mistake and that's it, you're going to have to start over.

Foods come to you one by one after a certain amount of time and you're going to have to prepare them as fast as possible without making mistakes

At the top right corner of your screen during the challenge it displays the number of orders you need to serve in order to finish that specific challenge.

The good thing about these challanges is that THERE ARE NO RANDOMIZED ORDERS. By that I mean that it doesn't matter how many times you retry the challenges because the orders will be the same the next time around and not randomized like in the Iron Cook Challenges. There you could maybe get a different pasta recipe every time you retry but in here they script what they want you to make. You can use this to your advantage by remembering what order made you mess up last time and be prepared when you know it's approaching.

Now for each individual challenge:
  • Pasta of Chaos
    Foods: Pasta
    Dishes Needed: 26
This one might be a bit troublesome. If you had trouble with the pasta earlier on then you might have issues here too. They give you each order one by one but at least give you a small time frame between orders so you won't carelessly burn them by boiling each one of them at once. The recipes get more complicated as the orders get to you. Definitely try to memorize where each of the ingredients are so you can fast prep these orders before you burn them. If you find yourself having various pasta dishes down the line do not try to boil them all at once unless they are about to all recede fully and make you lose the challenge. Try finishing one, then boiling another then repeat the process. Don't just prep one then move onto another that's ready to be prepped. Don't forget about the ones you still have to boil. Keeping a pattern is best recommended. If all else fails, try to remember the specific recipes in order to move things along faster.
  • Doomed Pizza
    Foods: Pizza
    Dishes needed: 36
The pizza challenge might be one of the easier challenges from this list but can get pretty difficult if you're not all too familiar or experienced with making it. Thankfully this isn't a cook then prep food so it might be easy for you. As with the pasta, the orders will come to you one by one and will get more difficult as each order passes. The orders will primarily ask for low leveled recipes but will quickly change pace. Don't let them overwhelm you
  • Nachos of Hell
    Foods: Nachos
    Dishes needed: 32
Nachos can get quite frustrating as not only do you have to first cook for certain recipes, but you have to cook certain types of meat for that recipe. You have to make sure you cook the right meats, make sure you get to foods to prep them in time then prepare them again with the proper condiments. This one might also take you a few tries. Thankfully, not all recipes have such complicated ingredients. Some of them don't even require prep or cooking, you just need to hand over the dry nachos on a plate. While the difficulty of the proceeding orders does increase, the game will throw some simple recipes your way at certain points. Tip: If you want to make the initial cooking faster you could cook all four types of meats from the beginning and simply not use them in the actual prepping.
  • Burger of Fates
    Foods: Burger
    Dishes needed: 40
Another cook then prep dish? The game really is starting to get a bit sadistic now, as it seems most dishes on these challenges require cooking then prepping. The difficult part about this particular challenge might be the number of burgers you have to make. Personally, burgers are one of my most hated foods because its so easy to get confused at times with what foods are about to burn and what you have to prep next. As with the previous foods, I would recommend leaving at least a few seconds between dishes to begin 'cooking' them if that's what the recipe calls for. After that its all on you to remember where the ingredients are and accurately prep the burgers after cooking fast enough.
  • Potato of Shame
    Foods: Potato
    Dishes needed: 24
Oh god, not another one of these. Yes... now you must face the potato and properly stuff it with creamy goodness or else walk away with shame. The two good things about the challenge is that you only need to prepare 24 of these and the only think you need to do to primarily cook the potato is simply click on the order. Like I mentioned before in the Iron Cook section; try not to cook too many of these at once. At least leave two-three seconds in between them or risk burning them all at once.
  • Foods of Madness
    Foods: Soup, Steak
Dishes needed: 9 dishes of soups and 12 orders of steak.
Ok here come the orders of soups again. I really hope you have practiced your soup making because you are going to need it. The soups are the hardest orders here but if you've practiced enough you should be able to get the measly 9 soups that you need to make. After that you will need to dish out 12 steaks quite rapidly. Some people find the steak to be pretty easy and it can be. You will most likely not have too much of a problem dealing with the steak at this point (especially if you've been using it alot during your regular game)
  • Buffet of Sorrow
    Foods: Salad, Ice Cream
Dishes needed: 23 salads, 18 ice cream dishes
This one is really all about endurance. There is not much to say here except for the fact that recipes get more complicated as time goes on. The dishes aren't too horrible to prepare and you might even make this challenge one of your first completed ( assuming you get this one and do it before you try the orders) If you have trouble with these just try and retry until you've conquered the certain dishes that messed you up in the first place.
Platinum Star and Extreme Difficulty Achievements
  • Platinum Star Restaurant

As you can see these are some standard things that just require a certain amount of days, food upgrades etc. The only hard thing about this is competing in the Hungry Festivities.
Note: You will get both achievements simultaneously if you've already completed your checklist, but its best to wait one day and only do 19 days so you don't have to do an extra day as that might happen before they give you your platinum star.
  • (Extreme Difficulty) Super Rush Hour
Even though you need to do this achievement in extreme diffuclty mode, this actually is a rather easy achievement which you can get on your first day of extreme difficulty. All you really need to do is go through a day and live through a super rush hour. You don't actually have to fill any quota of orders or anything.
Note: You can change your difficulty in the beginning of the game. You just have to choose a difficulty level when prompted at the beginning of a new file. It is recommended you wait first until you're ready before you decide to do extreme mode.
Note 2: All 'extreme difficulty' achievements are accessible at the beginning of a game without NG+, and you CAN choose to do them early IF you have the skill to pull it off.
  • ( Extreme difficulty) When it's Ready
The second easy achievement in this mode. This one is actually not hard either. You just need to get to about the 15-17th day of service in extreme mode to get your peculiar e-mail. ( Make sure to always be reading your e-mails so you don't accidentally miss it.
  • ( Extreme difficulty) Impossible Perfect Day
Now we get to arguably the most difficult challenge in the entire game. The reason I recommend doing this challenge last is because you're going to need the experience of completing the game once.
The rules of the challenge are to not only achieve a perfect day, but to achieve it with six foods on your active menu. Doing this challenge means that you're going to have to survive and perfectly execute TWO SUPER RUSH HOURS throughout that day. One super rush hour is enough to not only make you feel inadequate, but perhaps to make you lose some hairs out of stress in the process. Luckily, I'm here to help you to the best of my ability so here are some tips to make you not suck at it so hard:
    • You get your 6th menu slot at around day 18-19
    • Do the challenge before the 20th day, do not under any circumstance go to a new star before you manage this achievement. The reason behind it is because the game gives you an extra order slot at the beginning of the 1st star restaurant so that might make it potentially harder.
    • Use foods you know are easy and you have plenty of experience with. You definitely want to use the 1 star foods like pretzel and the corn dog. I also recommend using the beer for a - 5% buzz. The next three foods to use are up to you but DO NOT under any circumstance use multiple prep foods like the burger and nachos or foods that may seem easy but require a certain amount of time to complete anyways ( like wine). Those will become Hell in Super Rush Hour. That being said, here are some foods that might help you along your journey:
      -Fish
      -Chicken breast
      -Salad
      -Lobster
      -Hashbrowns
    • Buy all upgrades for chores etc. Once again, many of these are available before the 20th day so make good use of them. You will very much need to cut your chores in half and improve customer patience with the air conditioner and table snacks.
    • Let your foods achieve maximum menu rot. You should not worry about a bad buzz in hard mode anyways. What you really need to focus is on is being able to handle a perfect day with two super rush hours. You definitely are going to want that little time in between where orders are slightly slower. Putting fatty foods and the beer on your menu will also help with lowering your buzz a bit.
    • Most of all, you're going to need some patience and perseverence. If you fail, try and try again. But you're not going to fail are you? You've come this far and nothing has stood in your way, this definitely won't stand in your way either. After all is said and done, you shall become the ultimate cook. ( and possibly finish some customers served achievements if you haven't already)

To answer my own question Cook4Luv stats don't seem to carry over to New game+ according to a dev comment on the forums a couple of years back.

Does Cook4Luv stats carry over to New game + . I missed one date in normal mode probably and was wondering if i could finish it in impossible mode.

Is it quicker to get the Love Chef achievement on the original game or NG++?

Great guide! One thing though. You forgot to add Pizza to the list of five star foods to upgrade for the achievements. :3

I spent the day before going for Impossible Perfect Day just skipping everything, 100% bad orders, which reduced buzz to like 40% for my actual attempt

I have to agree with Garry. Having items on your menu with cook time are WAY better for Impossible Perfect Day than simple no-cook items like corn dogs and pretzels since they take up a slot while cooking. I'd also strongly advise against beer since it is so easy to under- or over-pour when you have to move as fast as you do in extreme difficulty. My extreme mode menu: Steak, Fish, Lobster, Lasagne, Breakfast Sandwich, with the last item being a tossup. I've found myself making mistakes preparing Chicken when I never once did prior to extreme difficulty so I'm leaning towards another item like Pizza.
