Description
New Page Text:

1. Skill = Adds an ability for the user for the rest of the act

2. Initiate = At the start of the scene if this page is in your hand, it's effect will take place

3. Retain = At the end of the scene if this page is in your hand, it's effect will take place

4. Countdown = The Page's cost is reduced by 1 at the end of a scene if its in your hand and then it will check if the cost of the page is 0, if it's 0, It will active its effect then it it will exhaust itself and add a copy of itself into the deck.

5. Ace = When you win a clash while the page is in your hand

6. Ace / Type of Dice = Same as Ace except It will activate its Effect if the Type of dice matches. Example: Ace / block will only activate it's effect when winning with block dice

7. Growth = Will activate its effect every time the owner uses another page while this page is in hand.

8. Starter = Will gain it's effect when the page is the first combat page used in a turn.

9. Mettle = When the page with this effect is used, If the owner of this page's HP is at 50% / 25% Hp or lower, Increase the power of all dice on the page by 1 / 2

10. Finisher = When this page is used, it will cancel all other pages that have yet to be played by the owner.

11. Inept = When you Lose a Clash While the page is in your hand

Focus = Focus is the Current Amount Of Light the Character has when the Effect Was Gained, When using Combat Pages, the cost of the page used will reduce the amount of Focus of the page / Passive affected by this effect. However, Gaining Light will not Increase the amount of Focus the Page / Passive has. At The End of a scene, All focus is Lost. Focus Can Also be Amplified, If using 2 or more of the Same Combat page with the Effect 'Focus', The Effect is doubled / Tripled / etc, For all copies.

13. Pursuit = The effects of Pursuit Activates if the target has already been damaged by an attack during the scene.

14. Reset = Reset the stats of this page.

15. Ambush = Activates if the attack is one sided, Does not activate if the attack is interrupted by any counter or remaining defensive dice.

Notes / Tips:

Despondent . The Passive ability says the character returns to normal after suffering immobilization, however, they will only return after suffering immobilization from the passive ability and not through other effects that also immobilize the character.

1. Initiate : This Effect Takes place at the exact same time that the character draws a page for the beginning of a scene, this means that if you draw a page with initiate, the initiate effect will miss timing and will not proc for the turn. For Example: Serum r will have moments where the cost of the page is not decreased, this is because the card did not gain any 'focus' from the initiate effect, and the retain effect will consider the focus of the page 0.

2. Serum R: Only combat pages effect Focus, Meaning if the character uses any [On Play] Pages, focus from this page will not be reduced by this, So using a 2 Cost [On Play] Page while at 5 Focus, Will Leave Focus for this page at 5 even if light is brought down to 3 or vice versa. This Page is not effected by 'Focus Amplification' because it is not a combat page.

3. Tri-serum Cocktail : Unlike Serum R, 'Focus' is only gained at the start of the Combat Phase, so if you use a 2 cost [On Play] page at 5 Light, and light is reduced to 3, At the start of the combat phase, 'Focus' will be 3 for this page, However, if you then gained light with a [On Play] Page such as 'Ominous Power', and restore 3 light, at the start of the combat phase, the page will gain 6 'Focus' because light was 6 at the start of the combat phase.

Extra:

1. Random status Effect Pool = (Feeble / Binding / Paralysis / Fragile / Disarm / Erosion / Bleeding / Burn). Smoke will not be chosen as it can be an unintended buff for some characters.

2. Random Buff Pool = (Protection / Stagger Protection / Strength / Endurance / Resilience / Recover 5 HP / Recover 5 Stagger Resist / Draw 1 Page / Restore 1 Light)

Changes:

Cards~

1. Trail = Cost Increased from 1 ---> 2 " was to strong for its own good at 1 cost. "

2. Metallic Ringing = Permanently Inflict 1 ~ 2 Bind at the start of every Scene when successfully hitting the target with this page.

3. Token of friendship = Increased Hp and Stagger Recovery from 1 ---> 2

Passives~

1. One for One = Decreased Cost of passive form 4 --> 2, Changed description, Increase first offensive dice by 1/4 of damage taken instead of 1/2. (this was already the given effect but the description was wrong)

2. Footwork = Removed description that said " All Dice transform into Evade Dice, As the passive "Hustle" does the same thing.

3. Survival = Decreased % of Damage taken from 12% --> 10%

4. Carnage = Decreased Damage needed to proc the ability from 20 ---> 15. Reduced light restore from 2 ---> 1

When selecting invitations, select workshop invitations, and then any single Star of the City book will let you fight the characters above, Since this is a collection, you will see several fights named Dots Rework 1 ~ 9 when you do so, 9 will be the fight that lists the characters above, while 1 ~ 8 will be previous characters from previous versions.

after you beat them, they will drop books and pages that you can equip, just like any other. If you were wondering, this mod doesn't change any of the regular characters passives and books, it just gives you alternate versions of them to unlock.

same problem that @Cian has, and the only mods i have are NoGrind and this mod, kinda sad bc i cant play half of those fights

@Cian All of those fights contain edited skins from the E.G.O Synchronization, my guess is that you might have another mod that alters the skins in some way, making them incompatible with each other and causing the bug to happen.

for some reason whenever i try the modded reception the game just breaks and the camera zooms into the middle of the screen with the game ui bugged

So initiate is an effect that activates before the draw phase of the start of a turn, And Serum R has a "gain focus" effect on Initiate, so as long as Serum R was in your hand at the start of the scene, it will record how much light your character had, it won't record how much light the character had tho if the page was drawn from the normal draw at the start of the turn because the game first checks the Initiate effects in hand, before drawing a page.

And then it just records how much light is spent afterwards, so if you had 4 light at the start of the turn, and you spent 2 light that turn, focus will be 2 for Serum R ( as long as the effect of initiate took place) and then effect that reduces the cost of the page by half the focus will kick in and reduce the cost by 1.

Because Serum R Gains focus through Initiate, it doesn't have it's effect multiplied with multiple copies, like how the other Focus cards do.

What exactly does the initiate effect do on Serum R? If focus is lost at end of scene, how does focus interact with the initiate?

Is focus just the amount of yellow lights going into combat multiplied by the number of focus carrying cards played?

So Ambush is an effect that will trigger if the page is used in a one sided attack where the enemy doesn't respond with anything, so even if the attack is one sided and not clashing with any pages, if the attack is interrupted by counter dice, or any leftover defensive dice, it will not trigger.
