Hot Coffee

Description
Percolated piping-hot steaming elixir of the morning.

This has been superseded by my mod Dwarven Tea Party.

This mod allows your dwarves to brew the delicious black drink, coffee, to give them a little more hop in their step. Coffee beans are recovered from coffee cherries, either via eating them or brewing them into coffee cherry wine. The beans can then be ground at a millstone or quern, and the resulting grounds brewed in the kitchen or still into the precious java.

Okay, barrels of coffee is a bit weird. But that's dwarves.

Non-Steam users can find it on DFFD as "[50.xx] Hot Coffee"!

-- Important Notes --

Due to a DF bug, items stored in bags, with those bags then stored in barrels, become inaccessible for things like grinding or brewing: make sure the stockpiles for your coffee beans and coffee grounds do NOT allow barrels!

-- Compatibility --

This mod hides the original coffee tree and replaces it with two new ones, coffea arabica and coffea robusta, and adds new coffee-making reactions to the main entities. No other significant changes to vanilla.

This mod is NOT compatible with Dwarven Tea Party.

hey, um, when i install this mod my dwarves turn into strippers. and their job type changes to "fuckin' ", intentional?

I can't seem to replicate this one (other than the barrel/workshop weirdness, or someone holding the bag in use). Try unsubscribing, deleting the mod from mods and installed_mods, and resubscribe and see if it persists. If it keeps happening, maybe upload your save someplace (and the list of mods in use) and I'll take a peek!

I could get rid of the "bag of beans" requirement but it'd be a bit weird to run back and forth grinding single beans... XD

Nope, I thought that might be the case also, & forced all my bags still out in the open. Still no go. Perhaps it's because there were other seeds also in the bag?

Is there any chance to make the reaction take bags and beans, instead of a bean-holding bag?

Looks like it's a weird DF bug, where some reactions can't see bags of things if they're sitting in workshops, or inside barrels. I'll see if there's a work-around, otherwise just wait for dwarves to haul the bags out into a seed stockpile that doesn't allow barrels.
