Civ Crucible - Deep Dwarves

Civ Crucible is a personal mod I've been slowly tweaking and adding to for several years as a spiritual successor of the defunct Civilisation Forge[www.bay12forums.com]mod of yore. It is now finally being polished up and released on the Steam Workshop over the course of several modules.

Some say they were once regular folk, seperated eons ago by a cave-in. Others say they are the progenitors who live the old nomadic life, looking on at the effete ways of "surfacer" dwarves with disgust. Either way, they're not happy with you barging your way back into their lives and messing the place up again.

This little module adds a new dwarf entity that lives alongside the animal people in the caverns. Unlike them however, they are far more advanced - They wear clothes, mine minerals and use crossbows. While rare, they pose a much higher threat, seeing as their envenomed weaponry can actually cut through cloth.
