I'm more of a OOTP guy (although I don't get OOTP through steam), but I also have fond memories of BM, so it'd be great if it came to Steam.

One of the screens shows the Tigers hitting .245 as a team, and with an 8-4 record. This always was the problem with this franchise. It generaged bullsh!t statistics, and couldn't be taken seriously as a game.

I've been playing this franchise for a while now. The game is generally very good. It's not much to look at but running a franchise, trading for players, building stadiums, drafting, setting beer prices, pursuing television deals, etc. becomes an addictive experience. If you are a fan of baseball you will most likely enjoy this game.

That said, he has it for sale already for around $40 on the sportmogul website. As I said above, I really enjoy this franchise but I have trouble justifying paying $40 for what is largely a text based simulator. If I, who knows the game and is already a fan, have trouble with the purchase price, I imagine what the uninitiated will do is balk at the price and the game will flop.

If this get the greenlight it probably has to sell for $10 for it to have a chance.

The demo on their site shows great improvements since I was obsessed with this game 10 years ago.
