Rebalanced Industries Revisited 1.0.2

Description

Overview
Rebalances Industries DLC, reduce traffic flow, increase cargo loading and more.

New in version 1.0.2
  • Added more custom settings for fishing buildings.
  • Fixed an issue where the configuration was incorrect when selecting different configuration types.

Functions
  • Using new algorithm to increase the load of vehicle in industrial zone and further reduce the traffic flow.
  • Rebalance extracting facility, processing facilities to make the transfer of materials more rational. It is strongly recommended to use the nearest warehouse for transshipment, which is the most efficient.
  • Rebalance the distribution of workers.
  • Rebalance the cost of construction and maintenance.
  • Adjust the output rate of industrial buildings to regulate traffic.
  • Warehouses: Warehouse construction costs and maintenance cost for storing grain were cut in half, crops warehouse workers are one-fourth of vanilla, logs, ore, and oil warehouse workers are one-half of vanilla. The premise of balance is that the number of vanilla workers exceeds 10.
  • Processing Facility: Animal Pasture and Cattle Shed cut construction costs and maintenance cost in half, also workers were reduced to 35 percent of vanilla.
  • Extracting Facility: Farming construction and maintenance cost is 25% of vanilla, rebalance the proportion and number of workers
  • Custom properties for industrial buildings, including construction cost, maintenance cost, truck count, output rate, work place, and storage capacity.
  • Toggle between mod, game, and custom settings to adjust industrial building properties.

I suddenly cannot access the individual settings for buildings (to change the truck count for example - Game Default / Mod Value / Customize) but I can access the overall settings. This part worked yesterday but not today and it's the same save with nothing changed at all

Just tried using this mod, and it bricks another loading screen mod and the build menu in game entirely. Has anyone else had this issue? I really want to use the mod, but its between the loading mod and this, I'll tolerate stupid amounts of traffic.

Hey! This is a great mod, however, I seem to encounter an issue whenever evacuating citizens. It evacuates some buildings while it doesn't evacuate others. It happens with random buildings, and it is a very strange issue. (I know that service buildings do not evacuate , it happens with every type of building.)

Nice, only took 8 days.

@yongzhun [λ] Fixed in version 1.0.2, and you have to save the game to save the modifications, which is a necessity.

@Mbyron26 Hi, after a few tests, I found that this issue might be related to the save method.

If I enable “auto close game after save”, then the next time I launch the game, the values revert back to the mod values.

However, if I save the game and then manually close it, the issue mentioned earlier does not occur.

@CitiesSkyliner

Thanks, and I hope there’s no misunderstanding.

By the way, are you experiencing the same issue as I am? Every building resets to the mod values each time I launch the game. I don’t run the game 24/7—I shut down my PC when I sleep—and when I open the game again, all values switch back to the mod defaults.

I can manually change them back to the game defaults, but that means I have to redo it every time I start the game. I need this mod only to increase the cargo car capacity; I don’t want it to modify output car or production rates.

Like a native! Not bad at all with your wording yongzhun!

Hi @Mbyron26,
(My English isn’t very good, so I’m not sure if I’m using the right wording.)

This mod is amazing. However, I’ve noticed an issue when selecting the mode (Game Default / Mod Value / Customize) for Unique Factories (and also for forestry, oil, farming, and ore industries).

Every time I reload the map, the setting is forced back to Mod Value (or Customize if the mod value and game default are the same).

For example, I set Unique Factories to Game Default because they work well that way, but every time I reopen the save, it switches back to Mod Value.

There is no error message or pop-up.
