Description
Modifies the sprites for engraved walls to make the engravings three times as obvious.

FAQ

I liked how in the ASCII versions you could see a symbol that represented each engraving. Can you bring that back?

At the moment, it's not possible to have more than one image for engraved walls. Once DFHack is updated to this version, something should be possible then. Someone else will have to make that mod, though. I don't really have the skills or the patience to draw all the engravings that would be necessary.

@J The only way to make this work with 2.5D Perspective Walls is to redraw the sprites in 2.5D.

I should note that the color difference is due to different types of stone on the different embarks I used to make the picture. This mod does not change any colors!

I've added a before/after picture. The difference isn't as extreme now that the base game's engravings have been improved, but I still like mine better ;D

Agree with below. I will never understand why some mod creators don't have a before and after pic to make the changes obvious.

Can you plz make the floor engravings not a face? I still would like a texture to differentiate between smoothed and engraved, but not a dwarf face. Would especially be nice for ppl who play with other races thanks to mods. I heard them complaining on like livestreams before they don't want to engrave floors cuz why are their humans or elves engraving dwarves into the floor?
