This is a great mod - thanks so much. And good on you for releasing it cc0 creative commons.

This mod is a good example for other aspiring modders. It is 8 lines of code, plus another data file of 50 lines that simply lists the sprites. A two layer psd file is included.

An interesting example of how Dwarf Fortress supports user generated content and modding. Some types of custom content can be added to the game with almost no code.

I would be wary updating if your save is using the old version scheme, it was perhaps a lapse in judgement changing this but it would do more harm to change back now. Adding this mod to a new save should be completely fine going forwards, however.

I'm pretty sure the 50.07 update broke my 50.05 save file due to this mod (fatal error - no reaction found). Also, for some bizarre reason I've got both v0.2.1 installed and v50.5 installed, and adding either mod to a world also adds the other, which is probably the cause for duplicate icon sets. (I genuinely don't understand the change to DF version number instead of mod version number. Nobody does this.)

No offense but I'd recommend avoiding this mod at the moment, at least until the creator can troubleshoot those issues.

@Sea Jr. you may have two different versions of the mod installed at the same time. Not sure how you managed this unless you installed to vanilla, and additionally enabled the mod. I'm not sure if you can unplug a mod from a save. Also, the most recent version should have that error with the crutch icon fixed.

Two sets of identical icons when selecting squad icons. Looking at the image files there's something messy about the crutches icon in the More_ version, like two images got overlaid but i cant quite parse it. Not sure if I can just delete one set to remove the dupes bc im unclear on which files are calling which image and so on :P

Must-have mod

Saves made while 50.04 was in seem to be bricked still in 50.05.
Loading pre-50.04 saves with 50.05 in works fine.

Did delete mods folder etc

I guess it's fine
