Description
Yes... you read that correctly!... Displays detailed item info in benches prior to crafting

Features:
  • Tries to keep the look and feel of the vanilla UI, just with more stats shown in benches.
  • Shows special armor bonuses like health, stamina, agility / str damage etc.
  • Displays numerical temperature resistance on armor pieces
  • Considers any bonuses granted by the current workstation thrall
  • Shows armor penetration of weapon / harvest power of tool / concussive damage on truncheon recipes
  • Shows effect of potions etc in alchemy bench or food buffs in stove
  • To enable it for stations that don't have it by default, rename your crafting station to have the "-aws" tag anywhere in its name (without quotations ofc)

Workshop ID
2875171748

Compatibility:
Compatible with everything, it doesn't change any basegame assets

@Mod Authors: If your custom bench can make armors / weapons and you want this feature in them by default, follow this cheap paint guide on how to do that![i.imgur.com]

@Mod users: This mod needs to be above the other mod that adds the custom stations in your load order.
For example if you use Beyond Stations, this mod (AWS) needs to be above that mod in the modlist to get the functionality in the custom stations added by that mod

Some of my other mods:
  • Twin-Bar (Doubles the capacity of your shortcut bar by allowing you to place 2 items in each and individually swap between them with hotkeys)
  • Simple Minimap (Helps you see where you're going.. it's a minimap that works with controllers too)
  • Reliable Meteor Showers (tiny super-lightweight mod that makes meteors rain if there are less than 5 nodes on the map, solving the issue of scarce star metal)
  • The Damage Meter (measure yours and your followers damage done / taken and dps)
  • Inventory compactor (button that gets rid of empty slots in custom view inventory and benches)
  • Follower Remote (Tiny interface to switch Aggressive / Passive states of your thralls on the fly)

Update policy
  • All my mods are made to be future-compatible with the latest version of the game and in the vast majority of the cases do NOT require updates when the game has an update.
You can safely ignore any "outdated" warnings you might get from gportal or other services as those simply check the version number of the devkit used to create the mod (stored in a text file inside the mod) against that of the game, which is completely irrelevant in the case of mods that do not contain altered basegame files.

  • I will update my mods on my terms and my terms alone. If you don't like my update schedule, don't use the mods.

  • Mismatch errors are not the fault of mod creators. If you need help understanding this concept, visit the discord.

That happens if you are using a non-vanilla station that didn't add support to the mod.
Beyond however does have support, but in this specific case you need to put AWS before Beyond in the modlist for it to pick up on these.

ADDENDUM: So I re-read the mod description and found the "-aws" tag on bench name bit. Worked like a charm.

Sorry, Xevyr, but I came her to say the same thing lrg162 said. For me, when selecting an armor or weapon recipe, all I get are the armor/damage values. It does not display any extended stats like bonus encumbrance or Bleed. But perhaps that's because I'm using Beyond Stations. Before AoH, it worked perfectly fine on those benches as long as I put AWS below Beyond Stations in my modlist. But maybe the reworking for that mod for this update did something to break functionality with AWS. But I really don't want to test that by pulling Beyond out of the list. So much pulling of mats and things and making vanilla benches... makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

@lrg162 No, that is not correct, unless you didn't update the mod to the latest version.

In the current version it shows you the stats with any crafter bonuses included depending on which crafter you selected in your bench.

@Xevyr, not sure if you've noticed this, but after the AoH update, the crafting stations no longer show the values WITH the selected thrall. It only shows the default values for the item.

You have to either craft the item to see the bonuses OR you can click the little + sign to the left of the thrall icons to see a detailed list of the bonuses that particular thrall will give, and then do the math yourself.
Why is this not default into the base game still beats me

No, since this is for crafting stations and the Pippi mod has its own custom interface for merchants, but maybe that one already shows them, idk

Hello. If we configure a Mechant on pippi mod, does this mod allow us to see the stats on the items that the merchant is selling ?
