Description
In this mod you'll play as Thanadelthur, the diplomatic Ex-Slave who forged peace between her people, the Cree and the Hudson's Bay Company! The Dene are a Musical people, with strong ties to Tundra, Faith and spirituality.

Please Rate this mod up!

Coming soon: Malaysia, Nigeria, Cuba and more!

Features voice acting by Charlatan Alley and Custom Leader Music!

Leader: Thanadelthur

Soul of the Tundra: Shrines and Temples contain slots for Great Works of Music, and if built in the Capital or in a city working Tundra will provide additional Faith when filled. Holy Sites built in Tundra provide +1 Tourism.

Sacred Drummer: Unlike the Great Prophet which it replaces, the Sacred Drummer ignores terrain penalties. When the Sacred Drummer is born, it triggers a Prophet Dance, causing every city connected to the Capital to gain +25% Great Person Growth and +3 Happiness for 8 turns. Multiple births reset the length of a Prophet Dance.

Yellowknife Encampment: A Unique Improvement that only the Dene can build. Requires Mining and gains bonuses based on the "Metals" line of the Tech Tree. Initially producing +1 Food and +1 Faith, after Iron Working, it gains an additional +1 Food and a source of Iron. After Metal Casting, it provides +1 Great Musician Points. Can only be built on Tundra and Metal Based Resources such as Iron, Aluminium, Gold, Silver and Copper. Cannot be built adjacent to each other.

Requires BNW

Hello! Is there a plan to remake this civ for Civ 6? It would be very cool.

Wanted to give a testimonial that this mod conditionally worked for me. I played this civ on the YnAEMP's huge map with true start locations, and it was a ton of fun. I DID have to go manually put the TSL map postition from DeneTSL.xml into YnAEMP's CivilizationsStartPos.xml file to start in the right place, though. That seems to be the case with several mods that claim compatibility though, so I think the issue may lie with YnAEMP or some base game change.

Watch out: If you play this mod wth Malaysia or Bhutan from colonialist legacies, the mod just won't work...

@myself They can't build the drummer, but it still cannot enter enemy territory

Don't know if anyone has addressed this, but the Sacred Drummer can be built by other Civs and cannot enter enemy territory.

Ehm in the setup screen the civ shows up as
Thanadelthur - The Dene ()
*Civ Specific Bonus 2
And in the rings on the right there's a picture of a shrine, a temple and their symbol
And when I selected them i just see the background of Civ, cant do anything except click escape to get out of the setup a game menu. No idea if u still answer questions, but just gonna write this here in the case u do (:, would love to get the mod to work

I'm using V4 of this mod, which was released on October the 6th of this year. I am also using all dlcs while using this mod. The art I am able to see is the same as the one on the second-to-last picture.

That's interesting and shouldn't be the case. We updated the Yellowknife graphics pretty much exactly one year ago.

why does the art in the actual mod look different from some of the art on display here? (For example the Yellowknife Encampment is just a recycled tipi in the downloaded version)
