Yes. In a normal situation, capital ships such as the mothership is USUALLY get launched with at least a finalized setup and check sequence. The mothership only launched the way they did because they literally used every trace of resource in the area of the construction. I mean, didn't karek have rings? Meaning they harvested the entire planetary rings or some local asteroid belt to construct the mothership into the state it was.
Anyway, tangent aside, I like the idea of having the mothership being a little more chonky. Listen... I rather like the idea of Thicc Karen.
