Description

[1.24 Ready] Updated version of the discontinued TACSAT Radio.

Now featuring a working proprietary version with TACSAT Radio + TACSAT Battery or a 9v model.

Go farther, talk longer.

The TACSAT Radio with its designated battery lasts 3x longer than a standard 9v radio (TACSAT or personal radio).

Enjoy a greater range, talk with others across the whole map! The radio has a radius of up to 50 km, enough for even most custom maps.

Seamless backwards compatibility

This mod uses the same item classnames as the original TACSAT radio mod for easy trouble free upgrading to this latest version. If you used the original mod, simply swap in this mod in place with no necessary changes to the loot table.

Note for server configuration: The TacSatRadio item is for the 9v version, whereas TacSatRadio_v2 uses a TACSATBattery_v2 item. Mod folder contains both a types.xml template and trader template for each item, change these values to meet your server needs. Currently set to spawn about half of vanilla version 1.18 personal radio rate.

Is there a way to turn up the volume on these? Because its insanely quiet even with VOIP volume maxed out. Thanks for sharing!

There seems to be a bug with the battery charger. I can attach it, but it wont charge the battery, and it seems to glitch new batteries if i try to drag it directly to my inventory
