Description


Oilfield from Nuclear Dawn, now port to Insurgency

Night version: Oilfield Night

Map name: oilfield_pve

● Include 16 checkpoints to capture or destory (Maximum support of Insurgency)
● Full Navmesh

Important Notes: Oilfield Assets is NOT required to play this map. But you will missing some features that list below: color correction
soundscapes effects (Including: ambient sounds)

Warning: Even subscribe Oilfield Assets you will still missing the features that list below:
sound effects:
Those missing effects can be fix by precache the sound scripts through modifying theaters
You can add following lines into theaters to fix it:
"sounds" "scripts/game_sounds_oilfield_pve.txt"

Also the map is in beta stage, you may occur some visual and particle bugs that will manage to fix on next version Feel free to post comments below

This is a very nice map but after some months of test, I have to point out also that it is seems cause often mass lags during counters on several points

Nice big map with really a lot of objectives.. I like it but I agree with all the comments already done. It requires some adjustement but a nice work anyway :steamthumbsup:

It's unusual type of maps I've seen in Insurgency and we enjoyed it, but it has flaws making it unenjoyable to play with challenging bots. First of all, some rocks and covers has bad collision model, which leads to situation when you see bots but cannot hit with any weapon. Second problem is you might spawn far away from spawn zone alone surrounded by enemies, same applies to enemy bots spawn next to you after a counter attack ends. There are alot spots where a bot stuck on objects, to improve navigation routes you should manually edit navmesh. Some objective too hard to defend because there are too many ways to approach objective and too little covers to defend. On last point in centre of map occluders hide props that should be visible to players. Some broken window glass block player movement. I hope you revisit the map to fix these issues.

不实用,BOT多远都能看清你 打得你找不到北,,你却看不清远处的他们,这层雾蒙蒙的东西成了障碍,要么你就能让bot的视力也降低到玩家一样,要么就让天空正常,移植的不一定好用,我的服务器刷出345个BOT,几百米外到处都是,你看不到他们 他们无障碍打你

personally i think this map could work better as a skirmish or push map
