Description
This mods changes the arcane conduit to an active ability, similar to how it works in TWW II. Now, it also regenerates winds of magic while active.

Here are the changed stats:

Old:
Arcane Conduit: permanently 40% increase in magic recharge rate

Greater Arcane Conduit: permanently 60% increase in magic recharge rate + 10% spell mastery


New:
Arcane Conduit:
- 160% increase in magic recharge rate while active
- 0.1 reserves per second while active (total: 3)
- 30 s duration
- 60 s cooldown

Greater Arcane Conduit:
- 80% increase in magic recharge rate
- 0.05 reserves per second
- 10% spell mastery

@BABBONGSHEA Sorry for the late answer. In order to make it only apply to the player, you probably would need to make a "new" ability instead of overriding the exisiting arcane conduit and then give it to you in a way, the ai cant get it, like via a skill in the skill tree. For the normal arcane conduit you could probably leave the AI usage field in the unit_special_abilities_tables empty, so the ai would have the ability but would not use it, but than it wouldn't have the vanilla ability either, so you would make them weaker. There could also be other ways that I dont know, im not very experienced with modding but I hope this helps

Except for ally and enemy ai, is it possible to make this change only apply to me? I know how to use the basic functionality of rpfm. Can you help me?

@Nox I think, that it is good as it is. The recharge rate is calculated in a way, that it would be slightly more than vanilla if you remember to always activate it in time. And I dont think that 6 reserves per cast (every 90 s) is too much.

I feel like the basic arcane conduit should almost be a copy and paste of the chromatic tome i.e 80% power recharge 0.10 reserves per second 30s duration 60s cooldown and 50% miscast chance

When i activated the arcane conduit ability on a modded char(Mixus lords) It did not give the reserve thing btw but i think it works fine with the normal mages
