This guide provides technical support for the installation of eSail.

CAPTCHA Issues

When installing Steam you may be asked to complete CAPTCHA questions. If these cause problems, please follow this process:

1) First, turn off any VPN you have running.

2 ) Next, try setting up your account using the button at the bottom of the software login:


3) You can also try changing your country (this can be reversed once an account has been created).

4) If that doesn't work, open your web browser and delete cache and cookies:

Microsoft Edge:

• Open up the Browser.
  
• Go to the Far-right and click on the 3 dots.
  
• Under it, click on Settings.
  
• This will open your Browser Settings, under it click on Privacy, search, and services.
  
• Now Scroll down till you find Clear browsing data.
  
• Click on Choose what to clear, checkmark all of the options, and then click on Clear now.

Google Chrome:

• Open up the Browser.
  
• Go to the Far-right and click on the 3 dots.
  
• Under it, click on Settings.
  
• This will open your Browser Settings.
  
• Under it on the right side, click on the Security and Privacy Tab.
  
• The very first option should be Clear browsing data.
  
• Click it, checkmark all of the options, and click on Clear data.

5) Turn off browser extensions (Edge & Chrome):

• In your browser, go to the Far-right and click on the 3 dots.
  
• Click on Extensions and turn off any extensions

6) Go to the join page in Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/join

7) If that fails, try an alternative web browser. Again clear cache and cookies first.

8) Sometimes the Steam Captcha error while creating a Steam account can be resolved by simply using a different internet connection or by using a different device. So open the Steam join page using your mobile phone or tablet and try signing up from there.

ADD A GAME Button missing

You should first login by clicking an icon (normally on your desktop). Then put your details into a screen like this:



Once in Steam you should see ADD A GAME at the bottom of the screen:
