This is a comprehensive guide detailing a way of getting for all achievements in the game. If you have never played this game or are just hunting for achievements, this guide will show you how to get them all.

Work in progress: work on this guide is still ongoing. Maybe now it looks like just a list of achievements, but it will not be so for long. Very soon, I will update each achievement with a detailed description and a screenshot or video explaining how to unlock it.

Achievement Info
Spice is the most valuable resource in the universe. The spice extends life, expands consciousness, and makes interstellar travel possible. Found only on Arrakis, it is sought by the most influential forces in the universe. Crush your opponents in combat, best them through political intrigue, undermine them with your network of illusive spies and unlock all achievements here in Steam.

Rule. Conquer. Play.
The Dune universe has always been about temporary alliances, lies, deceptions, betrayals and other political intrigues. And it’s very fortunate that the game developers understood and felt the spirit and atmosphere of the original books and films: it would be sad to see a thoughtless and one-sided strategy about a toy war with pew-pew, boom-boom and zap-zap.

Huge part of achievements are related to winning the match under certain conditions, so make your way to success and this will be the key to unlocking most other achievements in the game.


Use All Mechanics The Game Offers
The game gives you a huge variety of mechanics and ways of interacting with allies and opponents, and the world that witnesses your battles lives and develops in parallel with you.

Very often the game rewards you with achievements for choosing one or another path of development, achieving a certain result in the economy, military or political craft. Awake your imagination and use all the tools that the game offers you in order to unlock more and more achievements.


Play As Different Factions
There are several large factions in the game that act as the ruling force. They are all very different both in visual design and in playing style. Some find it easier to achieve political success, some are born conquerors, while others are better at finding allies or developing technologies.

In any case, in order to unlock 100% of the achievements, you will have to play for different factions and face opponents in different game modes. Don't be afraid to learn new gameplay tactics and success will be granted by you.


Spoiler Free Zone.
I usually write a separate paragraph in my guides that the game has story achievements, the description of which may contain spoilers, but apparently not for this game.

Currently, all game modes are designed for pure gameplay, there is no story campaign or missions that could contain spoilers, so you can safely play and earn achievements without fear of ruining the experience of the game.


New Achievements To Come
When I created this guide, there were only 35 achievements in the game, but their number gradually increased and currently reaches 85. Considering the developers' plans for the development of multiplayer, the possibilities of future DLCs, the story campaign and other content, do not hesitate to enter this guide and check its updates, because we will definitely be waiting for more and more new achievements.

Easy Win/Desert Fighter/Strategist/Master of Arrakis








These achievements require from you to reach victory with any possible way on curtain dufficulty. You can set AI difficulty in Settings tab after selecting a specific fraction.



As you can see from the description, winning on higher difficulty levels unlocks achievements with previous difficulties. Thus, to get all the achievements at once, it is enough to win on the insane difficulty. However, I recommend getting to grips with the basic mechanics of the game on easy and normal difficulties before playing on insane.
Honorable Duke


There are currently 7 playable factions in the game: House Atreides, House Harkonnen, House Corrino, House Ecaz and House Vernius as main factions that can be played in any mode. Smugglers and Fremen are additional sub-factions that playable in Skirmish Mode, Kandy Duels and MP with the exception of Conquest Mode.

Reach victory while playing for the House of Atreides in any possible way, condition, difficulty or game mode to unlock this achievement.

The stellar reputation of House Atreides owes a lot to its leader’s commanding style: firm yet honorable and fair. By imperial decree, the Atreides have just inherited the stewardship of Arrakis and have a lot of work to do to take over from the Harkonnens.

Faction bonuses:
✔️ Can use the Peaceful Annexation on neutral Villages.
✔️ Other factions lose no Authority from treaties with House Atreides.
✔️ +100% more Landsraad Standing spend when other factions break a Truce with House Atreides.
❌ Cannot pillage neutral Villages

At 5k Hegemony
✔️ Gains +10% Solari production while under the effect of a positive targeted Resolution.
✔️ Gains +10% Military Unit Power while under the effect of a negative targeted Resolution.

At 10k Hegemony
✔️ Ignores all Charters prerequisites except for the necessary Landsraad Standing.
✔️ Permanently gains +2% resource production upon being elected for a positive Resolution (x20 max).
Lady Jessica

🔳 Can impose any Treaty upon other factions at the cost of Influence

The Lady Jessica is Duke Leto’s concubine. Although she is a Bene Gesserit, her loyalty always goes to house Atreides before the Sisterhood.
Duncan Idaho

One of Leto’s must trusted men and House Atreides’ Swordmaster. Duncan was tasked with being Leto’s ambassador to the Fremen upon their arrival on Arrakis.
Thufir Hawat

🔳 Agents have 1 additional trait
🔳 Can Hasten mission progress and construction of Village Buildings at the cost of Solari

Thufir is an elderly Mentat - a human computer - and House Atreides’ Master of Assassins. Renowned in the Landsraad for being both outstandingly cunning and honorable, Thufir is also a mentor in the art of war and political instruction.
Gurney Halleck

🔳 After reaching the max level, Military units gain +1% Power every 50 Experience accrued (x20 max)
🔳 Each experience level grants +1 armor on units

Warmaster and poet, Gurney’s indefectible loyalty and long service to House Atreides earned him the status of valued friend and confident. While not exactly a handsome man, his combined abilities to sing and fight without missing a note make him both a charismatic and fearsome figure.
Dreaded Baron

Smugglers and Fremen are additional sub-factions that playable in Skirmish Mode, Kandy Duels and MP with the exception of Conquest Mode.

Reach victory while playing for the House of Harkonnen in any possible way, condition, difficulty or game mode to unlock this achievement.

House Harkonnen shares its chilling reputation with its leader, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. They have been called despotic, merciless, scheming and devious. And those are only their finer qualities.

Faction bonuses:
✔️ Can use Oppression on Harkonnen Villages.
✔️ Can sacrifice an Agent to reduce a mission's cost and preparation time.
✔️ Villages gain +5% resource production per active militia.
❌ Villages suffer -10% resource production.

At 5k Hegemony
✔️ Gain 50 Intel by pillaging a Village.
✔️ Killing an enemy non-mechanical unit gives 5% chance to receive a Brainwashed Agent.

At 10k Hegemony
✔️ Sacrificed Agents give a chance to not consume an operation on use.
✔️ Grants +1 additional Agent slot in each non-faction field.
Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen

🔳 Can use Corruption on Landsraad resolutions, causing a loss of Landsraad Standing for the elected enemy faction

Glossu’s younger brother and the Baron’s favored nephew, Feyd-Rautha has all it takes to uphold his family’s sadistic culture. An unmatched duelist and charismatic leader, he is the chosen na-Baron of House Harkonnen, destined to take over his uncle’s legacy.
Piter De Vries

Piter is a twisted Mentat; that is a human computer, but bred on planet Tleilax with much less ethical constraints in mind that their regular counterparts.
Rabban Harkonnen

🔳 Villages have +1 Militia slot

Nicknamed “the Beast” after murdering his own father, the Count of Lankiveil is every bit bit as evil and corrupt as his uncle, the Baron Harkonnen. Rabban only rules through violence and terror, making him a dreaded and despised leader.
Iakin Nefud

🔳 Level 1 military units undergo: Cannot regenerate Health and 50% of cost refunded upon death
🔳 Units take -30% time to train

Iakin is the Captain of the House Harkonnen guard. While regarded as decently reliable while on duty, he is a known Semuta addict, which, to some, is enough to cast doubt on all of his abilities.
Ruthless Emperor

Reach victory while playing for the House Corrino in any possible way, condition, difficulty or game mode to unlock this achievement.

Imperial House Corrino has ruled the galaxy for ten millennia, and Shaddam IV intends to keep it that way. The situation on Arrakis calls for the direct intervention of the Padishah Emperor, who will use all His wit and the might of His administration to turn the war to His benefit.

Faction bonuses:
✔️ Villages have +1 Building slot.
✔️ Can use Imperial Edict on Landsraad Resolutions to switch their scope.
✔️ Other factions have to spend +100% influence to cancel a Non-aggression Pact with House Corrino
❌ Authority cost to Annex a Village is increased 200% more by distance from Imperial Base.

At 5k Hegemony
✔️ Can use Main Base Deployment on Corrino and neutral Villages once.
✔️ Can offer Imperial Mandate, giving Sardaukar to another faction, as part of a trade.

At 10k Hegemony
✔️ Military Unites gain +5% Power per faction with less CHOAM Shares.
✔️ Gain +1 Guild Favor production per faction with less CHOAM Shares.
Princess Irulan

🔳 Every Corrino vote placed on a resolution affected by an Imperial Edict counts as 50% more
🔳 Can form alliances with Sietches in neutral territories

Irulan is the eldest daughter of Shaddam IV. Her lack of brother makes her the prime candidate to become Empress at the death of her father. She received a Bene Gesserit education from her mother, but still keeps a strong ambition that often put her at odds with the Emperor.
Wensicia Corrino

🔳 Can build 1 more of every Village Building
🔳 Buildings that have only one copy in a Village have +100% Solari Upkeep

Wensicia is the third daughter of Shaddam IV. She is trained in stewardship and takes care of much of the day to day logistic of the imperial palace. Her impulsiveness often causes troubles, but brings her to rapid success even more often.
Captain Aramsham

🔳 Sardaukar are available from the start
🔳 Sardaukar gain +10% execution threshold against Traitor factions
🔳 Military Units have +10% Power per faction in Truce

Captain Aramsham is a proud Sardaukar officer, used to wielding authority over his subordinates, conscripts of the Landsraad and Sardaukar alike. Pragmatic and experienced, he is often put in charge of dangerous operations, which he always returns victorious from.
Hasimir Fenrig

🔳 Can investigate Discoveries everywhere, even without Agents
🔳 Can use Development Investment on Villages of factions in Truce

Hasimir Fenrig was once part of the Bene Gesserit breeding program, candidate for the role of Kwisatz Haderach. He was abandoned by the Bene Gesserit because of a genetic defect. Serving as a mentat and assassin for Shaddam IV, he is also His closest friend.
Refined Archduchess


There are currently 7 playable factions in the game: House Atreides, House Harkonnen, House Corrino, House Ecaz and House Vernius as main factions that can be played in any mode. Smugglers and Fremen are additional sub-factions that playable in Skirmish Mode, Kandy Duels and MP with the exception of Conquest Mode.

Reach victory while playing for the House Ecaz in any possible way, condition, difficulty or game mode to unlock this achievement.

House Ecaz is known for its touristic resorts, its recreational drugs, and its patronage for the Art. But behind this enticing exterior, the refined house and its no less refined ruler, Archduchess Armanda, are ruthless and efficient defenders of their interests.

Faction bonuses:
✔️ Surrounded neutral villages become Sanctuary, that cannot be attacked by other factions.
✔️ Gain 1 Authority production per Sanctuary
✔️ Villages adjacent to a Sanctuary gain +1 instance of the Village's traits.
❌ Cannot betray a faction in Truce.

At 5k Hegemony
✔️ A single Ecazi Village can be turned into a Garden Resort.
✔️ A single Ecazi non-mechanical unit can be named Champion, who raises Hegemony by killing other faction's units.

At 10k Hegemony
✔️ Turn 0.2% of your Hegemony into Solari production.
✔️ The first 50 votes placed on each resolution are free.
Sanya Ecaz

🔳 For each Sanctuary on the map, gain: +10 solari production and -20% Masterpiece construction costs
🔳 Each Masterpiece produces 2 solari

Sanya Ecaz is the eldest daughter of Armanda, and current heir to the Ecaz dynasty. Her charming personality and eclectic tastes allow her to thrive among the artistic community of the house.
Whitmore Bludd

🔳 Can name a second Champion of a different type
🔳 Military Units start with 1 more Experience level

Whitmore Bludd was a renowned instructor at the Ginaz swordmaster school. After the fall of Ginaz, he entered the service of House Ecaz, first as Ilesa's bodyguard, and then as warmaster.
Ilesa Ecaz

🔳 Can Use Landsraad Immunity on a resolution to become uneligible
🔳 Gan 3 Landsraad Standing upon building a Masterpiece

Ilesa Ecaz is the second daughter of Armanda. Having barely survived an assassination attempt at the onset of adulthood, Ilesa has grown into a bitter and serious woman, with no qualms about using her infirmity to guilt people into doing her bidding.
Mesa Ecaz

🔳 Abandoning a Village refunds 100% of the Authority capture cost
🔳 Every masterpiece in a neutral Village gives +3% Authority production to House Ecaz

Mesa Ecaz is the youngest daughter of Armanda. She is driven and smart, always trying to encourage the use of house resources toward supporting and benefiting the people.
Clever Earl

Reach victory while playing for the House Vernius in any possible way, condition, difficulty or game mode to unlock this achievement.

House Vernius of the Ixian confederacy is the main provider of spacefolding ships in the galaxy. Their obsession with technological progress clashes with the prohibition on thinking machines imposed by the Butlerian Jihad. They've mostly managed to stay within the letter of the law until now, but a monopoly on spice could free them of these petty restrictions.

Faction bonuses:
✔️ Spice Fields in neutral and controlled regions can be harvested by Tethered Combine Harvester Drones.
✔️ Factions in truce get the effects of unresearched development that have been researched by Vernius.
✔️ Mixed S-Vault districts are split to give district bonuses.
❌ Villages not connected to the Nodal Network through Neural Nodes suffer -50% ressource productions.

At 5k Hegemony
✔️ Can File Patent on researched developments that no other faction has researched.
✔️ Can research 1 development without having researched its requirement.

At 10k Hegemony
✔️ Can Obfuscate a single researched development.
✔️ Each Knowledge point increases the production of all other resources by 0.2%.
Bolig Avati

🔳 Can build multiple Main Base buildings at the same time in the same district of S-Vault
🔳 Removed Main Base buildings in S-Vault are reimbursed fully
🔳 Gain 1 Knowledge per district bonus

Bolid Avati is the de facto leader of the Ixian Technocrat Council, the rising counterpower to the autocratic ruling of the House Vernius. While Bolig and Rhombur do not always see eye to eye, they are both loyal to the interests of Ix.
Bronso Vernius

🔳 Villages neighboring a single Vernius region cost -20% Authority to Annex
🔳 The furthest connected Neural Node generates an Airfield

Bronso is the son of Rhombur and Tessia Vernius. He is a shy young man, but his sharp intellect already manifests itself in his interests for historical science and sociology.
Cammar Pilru

🔳 Maximum Influence increases by 5 per Knowledge
🔳 Immediately gain 200 Influence when entering Conflict with another faction

Cammar Pilru has served as ambassador of House Vernius for many years. While his job is often hindered by the unfounded technophobia of the Imperium, he has learned to promote Ixian machines as both harmless and necessary to the Great Houses.
Tessia Vernius

🔳 Infiltration levels required for spying missions are lowered by 1
🔳 While no development is in progress, 50% of Knowledge is turned into Intel

Tessia is the wife of Rhombur. While she is a sister of the Bene Gesserit, it is clear that her loyalty and love goes to Rhombur. All of her considerable skills are used for his benefits only, which often irritates the Sisterhood.
Cunning Criminal

Smugglers and Fremen are additional sub-factions that playable in Skirmish Mode, Kandy Duels and MP with the exception of Conquest Mode.

Reach victory while playing for the Smugglers in any possible way, condition, difficulty or game mode to unlock this achievement.

There’s a fine line between smugglers and full-fledged bandits, and Esmar Tuek is adept at walking that line. Smugglers can provide anything to anyone, provided they put the price… and do not look at the specifics too closely.

Faction bonuses:
✔️ Can install Underworld Headquarters in opponents' Villages.
✔️ Units +10% Speed outside combat
✔️ Authority cost to Annex a Village suffers no penalty from distance to Sietch Tuek.
❌ Authority cost to Annex a Village is increased 50% more by owned Villages.

At 5k Hegemony
✔️ Can place Bounty on Landsraad resolutions.
✔️ Join the Landsraad Council with 50 Votes.

At 10k Hegemony
✔️ Installs a Major Underworld Headquarters in every enemy Main Base.
✔️ Gain +50% resources from pillaging a Village.
Staban Tuek

🔳 Underworld Headquarters with no empty Extension slots produce 5 Solari per neighboring Underworld Headquarters
🔳 Underworld Headquarters have +1 Extensions slots

Staban is Esmar Tuek’s son and, just like his father, a renowned smuggler of various good on Arrakis, most notably Spice Melange. Like many of his people, he thrives in a harsh environment while routinely defying the highest authorities. He is a proud man who doesn’t abide by anybody’s rules but his own.
Linger Bewt

🔳 Produces 15 Water
🔳 Unlocks the Water Network and Water Seller Extensions in Underworld Headquarters

Lingar’s business revolves around a single commodity, but one which is so rare on Arrakis, only Spice tops it in importance: water. While his extraction operations are not technically illegal, they, by nature, risky enough that Lingar had to forge an alliance with smugglers, and most notably Esmar Tuek.
Drisq

🔳 All Ornithopters gain: Only visible from close range, +50% Speed and +50% Recon speed of Points of Interest
🔳 Information levels cannot be lower than 1

Drisq is Esmar Tuek’s loyal quartermaster, managing supplies and commodities for the whole Sietch. She is also regularly involved in the logistics of her master’s smuggling operations.
Bannerjee

🔳 Military Units gain Stealth while a Smugglers operation is ongoing in the Region
🔳 Unlocks the local Gang and Back-Alley Doctor Extensions in Underworld Headquarters

Bannerjee serves as the head of security at Tuek’s Sietch. A stout, intimidating hulk of a man with a jaded outlook on life, he is a reliable ally when it comes to protecting Esmar’s best interests.
Visionary Rebel


There are currently 7 playable factions in the game: House Atreides, House Harkonnen, House Corrino, House Ecaz and House Vernius as main factions that can be played in any mode. Smugglers and Fremen are additional sub-factions that playable in Skirmish Mode, Kandy Duels and MP with the exception of Conquest Mode.

Reach victory while playing for the Fremen in any possible way, condition, difficulty or game mode to unlock this achievement.

Fremen are the only people native to Arrakis and will do anything to protect their way against the offworlders. While their leader, Liet-Kynes, doesn’t originally come from Dune, she is every bit as determined and attached to the planet as the next Fremen.

Faction bonuses:
✔️ Spice Field in neutral and controlled region can be harvested by Harvesting Teams, a mobile unit.
✔️ Can form alliances with Sietches outside of territory.
✔️ Can use Thumpers to perform Wormriding.
❌ Villages have -1 maximum Building slot.

At 5k Hegemony
✔️ Surrounding a Deep Desert grants control over it.
✔️ Thumpers are generated passively and attract larger Sandworms that can travel farther.

At 10k Hegemony
✔️ Grants knowledge of enemy alliances with Sietches.
✔️ Allied Sietch have a Settlement, capable of hosting a specialized Industry.
Chani Kynes

Can use Incite Rebellion on Landstraad resolutions, generating rebellions in ther factions if the targeted resolution passes.

🔳 Gain +1 Intel production per neutral neighboring region

Chani is a young Fremen mothered by the famous imperial planetologist Liet Kynes. A bold and charismatic woman and an adept fighter, she is loyal to her native people and is determined to do whatever it takes to remove any lingering Harkonnen presence from her planet.
Stilgar Ben Fifrawl

🔳 Gain +1 Authority production per controlled region with Spice Field
🔳 Controlled regions with Spice Field give -20% Upkeep to neighboring controlled regions and to themselves

Stilgar is the Naib - the leader - of Sietch Tabr, one of the most prominent Fremen communities on Arrakis. A wise and honorable leader, he has a soft spot for Chani Kynes, whom he regards as his niece.
Mother Ramallo

🔳 Allows the construction of the Shai-hulud Temple in a Village
🔳 Harvesting Teams gain Stealth and can receive 1 more Crew

Ramallo is an elderly Sayyadina, a rogue Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother who successfully changed the Water of Life. She therefore possesses a vast knowledge inherited from her foremothers, and her immense wisdom makes her a reverend mother figure among the Fremen.
Otheym

🔳 Military Units gain +10% Speed
🔳 Military Units gain Sand Killers when no allies are nearby: +25% Power and -25% damage received

Otheym is a renowned and fearsome Fremen fighter who left Sietch Gara Kulon for Sietch Tabr led by Stilgar. A wise and loyal if a bit gruff man, he likes to be in the first lines, be it in combat or through experimenting with new kinds of strategies.
Governor


This is a political way to win the match. After the start of the game, exactly 20 days later the first Landsraad meeting will begin.

This is what it looks like. Here you can see Resolutions that are being put to a vote by the factions. Factions use Votes to adopt Resolutions that are beneficial to them and prevent those that harm the faction from coming into force. Resolutions appear randomly at each meeting.



Above in this menu you can see 5 different Charters. Each of them has its own requirements, and once a Faction is eligible for a charter it will appear on the next council session for voting. If one or more factions become eligible for two or more different charters at the same time the game will pick one charter at random to propose. There will be only one Charter up for voting in each Council Session.

If the Charter gets voted in, the victor of the vote will hold that charter until either the Loss of Rights Resolution passes or until the Charter comes up for voting again and another faction wins the vote.

As you can see, The Dune Governorship is a special charter which is used for the Political Victory Condition. The first Faction to get elected will be granted 10 000 Solari instead of the usual 2000 Solari and 20 Landsraad Standing. On top of that when a Faction gets elected to this charter the next Landsraad council will be guaranteed to have the loss of rights Resolution as 1 of the 3 options to vote on.

Once you elected as The Dune Governorship hold this Charter for 30 days to win the game and unlock the achievement.
Hegemon


Winning by way of the Hegemony victory condition is likely the way many matches will end. Hegemony is essentially a rating of your overall control on Arrakis. Hegemony is accrued through many different actions, and accruing 30,000 points will make you the victor.



The main ways of gaining Hegemony include:
  • Annexing and taking over villages.
  • Getting Charters passed in your favor.
  • Using espionage operations.
  • Paying the Spice Tax in time.
  • Developing researches and constructing buildings that grant you Hegemony points.
  • Contrilling unique regions usually grant you 1 000 Hegemony points.
  • A bunch of smaller actions can contribute to your Hegemony as well.
Basically, you'll want to expand and control as much of Arrakis as possible in order to win through this method. Do not go to extremes and develop your rule evenly in all directions. In this case, you will provide yourself with an abundance of Hegemony points, which will allow you to get ahead of your opponent and accumulate the required number of points.

Conqueror


You can also achieve Domination victory by building up massive army and destroying enemy Main Base. However, these bases has massive HP and defense level, so you'll need a really huge army to bring them down.

The description of the achievement seems to hint a little that you need to destroy the base of the last remaining enemy on the map, but this achievement works even if you are playing 1 on 1.
Kanly Duel mode is perfect for this achievement.

Assassin


Assassination of your opponent is another way to win the match. In this case, to achieve this you need to kill the only or last opponent in the match. Let's take a closer look at how to do this.

In the Espionage menu you can see your Agents, enemy factions, a list of various operations that harm opponents and help you.

Agents are recruited over time and you need to distribute them among the free slots in this menu. You can increase the number of cells and the rate of emergence of Agents through Political Development.



The assassination is available from the very beginning, but it requires preparation. In order to start preparing for the murder you will need:
  • 500 Intel Points
  • 1000 Solari
  • Infiltration Level 3 on Enemy Faction
  • Infiltration Level 1 on Arrakis, Spacing GUild, CHOAM and Landsraad
Intel points accumulate over time on their own, just as Infiltration Level depending on how many of your agents are into it. In order to increase the amount of agent slots for the enemy faction, you need to place Infiltration Cells on their territory.

This is what your espionage menu should look like when you're ready to start preparing your assassination.



When you start the operation, the assassination icon will appear at the top right with complete information about the progress of the operation. Here it is important for you to see the countdown to successful completion, the speed of the operation, how many of your agents are involved and how many enemy agents are counteracting this.

As long as the enemy does not know about the assassination, he will not undertake any counteraction. However, as soon as this happens, the speed of the operation will gradually decrease, extending the completion date.

At this point, your opponent will be scouring their territories for your Infiltration Cells. If he finds and destroys them, this could significantly affect the course of the operation and you may even have to cancel it. That is why it is important to place them at different ends of enemy territory so that their search takes as long as possible.


If, nevertheless, the progress of the operation has stopped and does not move further, then it can be started with the help of your assassins. Train one and send him to enemy territory where your Infiltration Cell is, and then attack the village with it.


After this, the operation speed will again become 100%, which will help to complete the operation successfully. But remember that for this the enemy must not discover your Cells, you cannot create new ones while Assassination is active, so if you are left without them, the operation will have to start over.


Once the operation is successfully completed, the enemy faction will be eliminated.

Magnate


Let's look at the economic conditions for victory. Since 20-30 days after the start of the game, the CHOAM market will become available. At this market, special shares are sold for Solari, which can be bought and sold.



The price of these shares is constantly changing and this market can be a source of both profit and loss. Shares can only be bought/sold in quantities of 5 and 20 at a time.

The more shares you have, the more bonuses your faction will receive when reaching a certain percentage of ownership. If you become share holder with more than 50% of the total number of shares, you will win the match and unlock the achievement.


The amount of Solari you will have to spend for this type of victory is in the thousands, so I advise you to focus on accumulating this currency in large quantities.

Insanity


I was sure that this achievement would be much more difficult, but if you know what you are doing, then everything can turn out much easier.

Your task is to win the game with settings like in the screenshot in Skirmish Mode.
I will advise you to choose the faction that you know how to play best, in my case it is House Harkonnen. Choose Сouncelors at your discretion, but I chose Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen and Rabban Harkonnen.

Set game difficulty to Insane, turn on all win conditions and set Sandworms, Storm Strenght, Local Strenght, Spice Contract to High level. These conditions are strongly required; if they differ, you will not unlock the achievement.

I highly recommend setting the map size as large as possible - your opponents will be terriable neighbors, let them be as far away as possible. You can also set enemy factions random or you can choose like me.

In my case, I chose the House of Ekaz, Smugglers and Freemans. House Ekaz cannot violate any Truce, which will prevent him from suddenly attacking you, and the last two factions cannot participate in Landsraad meetings, this will allow you to impose your will on them in the early stages of the game.



So you started the match, gradually develop, provide yourself with all the necessary resources for a long game. You have to find out where is the edge of the map is from you and capture territories, first those that have important resources. Look carefully at the perks of your Villages and use them. Be sure to scout out where your opponents are.

As you can see, the Freemans were close to me, the other two factions were much further away.


Our plan for victory is the simplest possible method of victory — assassinations with possible transition to political victory. That's why I play the Harkonnens, they are the best in this matter.

From the beginning of the match I chose one main Development from each branch, but after that I started researching the political developments in order to quickly get a lot of Agents and have an advantage in the Landsraad Consulate.



Getting ready for our first assassination. Of all three factions, it was the Freemen who took the lead with Hegemony points and were the first candidate for victory, in addition, they were neighbors with me, so they would be my first victim.

REMEMBER: Place Infiltration Cells on enemy territory carefully, never place them in neighboring regions, it is better that they are as far apart as possible, because the enemy will quickly find and destroy them, which can slow down or interrupt our assassination.

Always sacrifice your agent to the Assassination Operation. This will reduce the cost of the operation and prepare it instantly, also it allows to remain undetected until it is 50% complete.


One way or another, after 50% your assassination attempt will be noticed in any case. Even if the Faction did not have Counterintelligence Agents, they will appear and the enemy will intensify their resources to search for your Infiltration Cells.

I advise you to place only 2 out of 3 possible ones before starting the operation. Prepare the third, but not place it, leave it until these two are found and destroyed, and your operation is at risk of failure.

Train assassins, without them not a single operation can be completed on Insane difficulty, so constantly check the status of the operation and the speed of its execution. If the speed drops below 50%, then immediately send an assassin to Infiltration Cell in order to return the speed back to 100%.

As a result, you will be rewarded by the fact that your first opponent defeated. Your first real step towards victory has been taken.


While I was dealing with the Freemen, I didn’t waste time and sent extra agents to spy on other factions and raise the Infiltration level to save time. Unfortunately, House Ekaz also didn’t waste his time and bought more than 30% of the CHOAM tickets, which meant that they could quickly turn out to be the winner too, so we destroy them next.


I repeat with House Ecaz everything I did with the Freemans. At the Landsraad Standing, I tried in every possible way to prevent the House Ekaz from buying CHOAM tickets. To do this, special voting options may appear, which prohibit purchasing them until the next meeting or increase the purchase price by 100%.

In any case, they die at my hands too.



You can deal with the last opponent whatever you like, but the Smugglers also decided to finish me off with an assassin, so I didn’t change my tactics.


Some tips for the future:

Remember I said that you need to choose a large map?
So, you will still have to send assassins to the borders of the enemy faction, so help yourself and reduce this distance as much as possible.

They might try to assassinate you too. Fight back! Look for their Cells, interfere with their assassins and do everything so that.

Not a difficult one, but rather unpleasant achievement, which is also best unlocked in Kanly Duel mode. You need to win a match in any way and not research any improvements from the Developments menu. Just leave it alone and ignore all notifications to research something there.


Pariah


Pariah Standing is a powerful debuff for your faction. It cannot be stopped until the very end of the match, so before attempting this achievement you must be 100% sure that you know what you are doing.

It is extremely hard to get rid of, and its presence practically deprives you of the opportunity to win the match in any way other than killing the enemy leader and destroying the main base, so before you begin this achievement you must be 100% sure that you know what you are doing.

So what's the Landsraad Pariah and what does it means to you?

  • You will no longer be able to vote and make political decisions in Landsraad Council
  • Your level of Influence Points accumulation will be reduced
  • COAM Share buying price is raising on 300%
  • Every 20 days you got assaulted by army of Landsraad Guards
As a result, political and economic victories will be closed to you, and the amount of political influence when trying to accumulate Hegemony Points may slow down greatly, which will also deprive you of this type of victory in the match.

Now let's talk about how to get this debuff on purpose in order to unlock the achievement. Look at the top of the screen.See that blue and white resource? This is your Landsraad Standing points which affects your political power and relations with Landsraad.



How to get Landsraad Pariah intentionally?
  • Reduce Landsraad Standing points below 100 anyhow
  • Treacherously attack another player breaking treaty
  • Capture several territories of another faction in a short time
  • Use a high-level operation that directly harms the enemy faction
  • Use nuclear weapon

Usually the game will notify you in advance that you are doing something very serious and that there will set serious punishment for you, so you will definitely not miss this notification.



In order to unlock this achievement you will need to win the match after you have been under Landsraad Pariah status for more than 30 days, so you must wait a while before ending the match with your victory. It looks like black and red status right after your leader avatar.

Prudent


It is enough to win any win condition by fulfilling these two things:
  • You cannot lose a single unit of your army (militia from villages does not count here)
  • You cannot allow your village to be captured at least once

I guess it is best to do this also in Kalny Duel Mode on an easy difficulty, winning through non-violent ways.
Duelist


Kanly Duel is 1x1 Game Mode with simplified game rules, designed for fast matches.
All other game modes are slow, measured and meditative, but not this time.

In this mode, you have already explored several territories around your base, and all players receive a large supply of initial resources. Units train much faster, and the map is significantly smaller than even the smallest map compared to other modes.

Go to the main menu in the Single Player section and select Kanly Duel. Select a faction, game settings and win match in order to unlock the achievement.

By the way, this mode is suitable for getting other victory achievements, so if you don’t want to take part in long matches and unlock achievements as quickly as possible, then play this mode much more often.

Some players may unlock this achievement automatically when logging into the game. But if this did not happen to you or the bug was fixed, then here is how you can get this achievement.
No Offense


The description of this achievement may sound rather unpleasant, but this achievement is quite easy to obtain and should not cause any problems.

Start a regular Skirmish match for House Atreides, AI difficulty can be set to “Easy”, other settings like storms, sandworms, etc. can be left as they are. The number of opponents does not matter, but it is obvious that if there is only 1 AI against you, then it will be easier for you to achieve victory in any way. I recommend turning off the Political and Assassinations victory conditions if you`re a new player, so that enemy actions do not come as a surprise to you.



The key to your victory is the House of Atreides ability called “Peaceful Annexation”. Spend 50 Influence and some Authority points to peacefully capture the village and annex it to your territory.



In the early stages of the game, you will lose at the pace of capturing villages, because you are prohibited from attacking both neutral villages and those that have already been captured by other Houses. Influence points at the beginning of the game will accumulate slowly, so rapid expansion at the beginning is not an option. However, with the advance from Development menu, you will quickly catch up with your opponents.

For example, the “Cultural Assimilation” from the Expansion Development branch will reduce the cost for Peaceful Annexation, which will speed up your expansion. Also "Atreides Sympathizers" from Statecraft Development branch can increase influence points productions and etc.

Your troops will only be needed to protect your borders and villages from attacks by other Houses, raiders and other ill-wishers.

The achievement will unlock as soon as you reach the match victory screen, regardless of how you won.

The House Corrino has an ability that allows you to create a second Main Base on any explored region on the map, even if it is not captured by you. You can perform this after reaching 5 000 Hegemony points and this costs 3 000 Solari and 100 Authority points. The Main Base only has 6 district slots, just like the second one.


Thus, in order to unlock the achievement, you need to completely build up your Main Base, which was placed at the beginning of the match, then place a second base and also completely build it up.

Empire Strikes Back


To achieve this achievement, you must play against an opponent on a higher difficulty than normal. Place House Corrino's second Main Base as close to the enemy lines as possible to make it a desirable target for his army.

It is especially good to set up a base in a strategic region that has important resources. Your base must be destroyed and after that you need to win the match in any way possible.

World Museum


Masterpiece is a unique village sctructure for the Ekaz house. These are small monuments or pillars of which there are three types, one for each category of buildings.

They are cheap and do not bring specific bonuses, but their destruction gives certain penalties to the aggressor. Your task is to build 50 masterpieces in one game match .

This means that you need to capture enough territory to ensure that you can build that many masterpieces. If we assume 3 masterpieces in one territory, then in a normal case you will need to take annex of at least 17 territories.

Fortunately, there is again an opportunity to simplify your task. You need Native Artists Development from the Exploration branch. It will open access to the construction of the Museum of Unboud Arts at your Main Base.


This building removes the limit of Masterpieces in one territory, so now all slots in villages can be filled with Masterpieces only. You can even destroy some unnecessary buildings and replace them with Masterpieces, at least until you unlock the achievement.


Heroic Champion


Another relatively long-term achievement. Let's figure it out. Playing for the Ekaz house, when you reach 5000 Hegemony points, you can choose one of our non-mechanized unit and appoint it as Champion. To do this, you will have a special button when selecting a unit.



From now on until the moment of death, the champion destroying an enemy unit in battle brings you 100 Hegemony points. Do you see what I'm getting at? Yep, now you need to destroy 50 enemy units with your champion.

Here are a few nuances you need to know for this achievement.
  • The champion does not have to lasthit an enemy unit, but he must participate in combat and attack the enemy unit at least once before it gets destroyed.
  • If the Champion stood next to the dead enemy unit, but did not take part in the battle, then you will not receive hegemony points.
  • It is best to appoint a strong unit, such as a Knight, as the Champion and surround him with an army of other units.
  • Killing Military Villagers, Raiders and Renegades DOES NOT BRING you Hegemony points. Only units that belong to other factions count.
  • Force the enemy to fight more often, take the enemy with a numerical advantage, try to make sure that the champion fights, but does not become the target of the enemy’s attack.
  • Save often. The achievement does not say that 5,000 points must be scored by the same Champion, but I didn’t want to find out separately, so for the entire game I had one single champion.
You can track the number of points your Champion has earned you through kills. Just point at your Hegemony Points and there will be a special section. The achievement will unlock once you get 50 kills.

Send your spy to the enemy faction and then choose any operation from the list in agents menu.

A special region usually has some natural wonder that distinguishes it from other territories.

The main base always has a very high level of protection and HP points, and also has the ability to shoot back when attacked. Therefore, to destroy the enemy base, you need to build a large and strong army.

Reach 2 500 Hegemony points to unlock disctricts in your main base. Then fill all slots with buildings.

Killer


To assassinate an enemy leader, you need to prepare an operation in the espionage menu. Initially, it is at the very bottom of the list and requires at least level 2 for each of the sectors, including the enemy faction.

Keep in mind that there can be only 3 attempts to kill the leader and there is always a chance that it can fail.

Legal Bond


Click on the enemy leader's avatar in the upper right corner to open the trade menu. Make him a treaty offer and balance this decision or simple agree when enemy leader offers you a treaty himself

Aggressor


When attacking territory already occupied by another faction and destroying resistance, you have 3 options to choose from:
  • Pillage
  • Take control (requires a lot of resources)
  • Removal of occupation, return to neutral status (then you can capture, it takes less resources, but more time)

Way of the Air


Most of your units move very slowly, using the shuttle allows you to quickly redistribute units between key points exactly where they are needed most. Select any unit and press Shuttle button.

Water Bond


Sietches periodically appear on the map, usually you get a notification about this. You can start trading with them to raise relationship level. When it reaches 100 points and If the Sietch is on your territory, then you can send an Agent there to form an alliance and gain certain bonuses.

Honor of Duty


Go to Landsraad menu to see 5 locked charters. One of them leads to a political victory in the match, the rest give advantages under certain conditions



Pick any of that four charters and complete their requirements at least for one to let fractions to choose charter leader



Get elected as charter leader to unlock the achievement.

First Step


Click on your opponent's faction avatar to open the trade and agreements menu. In order to get this achievement, you just need to offer your ally not resources, but treaties (they are located under the resources). If the opposing faction agrees with you, the achievement will unlock.

🌕 Spy Master


Place your agents in special zones so that they can begin their work in the chosen direction. There are 6 such directions in total, but only 5 are important for achievement.

At first, in each direction you will have only one slot for an Agent, but slot amount will increase due to Developments, successful operations and by achieving infiltration level.

Place agents and wait until the level of infiltration in their direction reaches level 3 on its own, then you will receive the achievement.

Each faction has its own ultimate unit - the frigate. It has abilities and effects that match its faction, but in order to build it you will need to finish some Developments, accumulate 100 Space Guild Favor Points and 10 mechanical parts.

The second achievement is granted after you destroy this colossus. It has 4 000 HP and a lot of armor, and very often this frigate accompanies the enemy army, so perhaps this achievement would be difficult if not for one important condition.

A frigate can always be bombed with nuclear weapons. Yeah, that's right. A strike with a nuclear warhead deals 5,000 damage, which more than covers the Frigate's HP. So build Nuclear Silo and get yourself a nuclear warhead. Bomb this bastard and show the true mighty of your faction.

Lawful Aggression
🌕 Disobeying The Form


Construct Nuclear Silo building in your village. This will let you to produce nuclear warheads for 5000 Solari. It will take 10 days to create a nuclear warhead, after that time you will be able to use it.


As soon as the warhead is in your hands, simply use it anywhere on the map, preferably away from your territories. The achievement should unlock immediately after the explosion.

Remember that using nuke weaponry put a Landsraad Pariah debuff on your faction till the end of the match so I strictly recommend using nuclear weapons if you intend to finish match through Domination or Assassinations win condition. I talked more about this in the Pariah achievement section.

🌕 Interstellar Transit


Spacing Guild Branch is a unique major building that can be counstructed in one of your villages.
You can found it in Statecraft Buildings section and it is limited only one globally.

Once you build this one the achievement should unlock. By the way this building will need tou to unlock Guild Lackey achievement, read more about it in specific section.

🌕 Shiny New Gear/Ready to Rumble




For this achievement you need to finish 3 researches from Military Developments tab.
They called Survival Training (this one unlocks gear menu for your Military Troops), Army Logistics (unlocks second slot for every non-mechanical troops) and Mechanization (this one requires to set gear for mechanical units).



Go to Armory Menu in the right side of the screen, next to your troops icons. Here you can see all your troops that can be equipped with gear. Pick any of them and buy first gear ever with 500 Solari points to unlock Shiny New Gear


When you`ve done researching developments I mentioned from the start, you will have the opportunity to fill all 10 slots with gear. Remember that each one of them costs 500 Solari, so gain enough of this resource in order to buy full gear for your army.

🌕 Pest Control


At some point in the match, a shuttle with Renegades lands on a random part of the map. The shuttle contains a large army of troops, so attacking their base and destroying it may require a significant investment in your army.


However, if you delay in destroying the base, their raids can become a serious problem for the players adjacent to them. In any case, destroying the Renegades will grant you this achievement and will also give you additional Guild Favor points, which you will need to unlock the Guild Lackey achievement.



Favoritism


After reaching 10k Hegemony, each faction can choose between 2 heroes to recruit as an unit that will influence their whole military strategy:
  • House Atreides: Duncan Idaho or Gurney Halleck
  • House Harkonnen: Glossu Rabban or Iakin Nefud
  • The Fremen: Chani Kynes or Otheym
  • House Corrino: Wensicia Corrino or Captain Aramsham

🌕 Greatest House


Reaching max Landsraad Standing points is possible when performing a number of actions that are significant for the faction: resource extraction, seizure of territories, construction, trade and political actions.



Over time, you will have different effects that increase the growth of your points. For example, they can be increased through espionage operations.

🌕 Water Seller


100 water resourse is enough. Remember that you will need a lot of buildings that produce water or reduce its cost, as well as research related to water. Capture Polar Sink special region, cause it let you to make a building that give you +50 water.

🌕 Spice Addict


The achievement is not as easy as it may seem: every 25 days the Empire takes a large enough amount of your spice supply and each payout gets bigger, time after time.

Try use different ways to gain Spice:
  • Capture several territories with spice deposits
  • Upgrade Harvesters and add crew to it (4 crewmates max)
  • Find spice crates with Ornithopter on the map
  • Don`t sell Spice to the CHOAM for Solaris
  • Trade Spice from other factions

🌕 Logistician


Open Developments Menu at the top right of the screen. You will see 4 research branches, each of them gives bonuses and profitable improvements in each of the four true ruler arts: Economy, Military, Statecraft and Expansion.

In order to unlock this achievement, you need to study all the developments from the top right technology tree — Military Developments.


🌕 Economist

🌕 Sociologist

🌕 Half a World


Even if you play on a small map against one player, the number of regions is quite enough to capture 30 of them. Considering that the more of them you control, the higher the consumption of Authority points, so try to increase your receipt of this resource throughout the match.

🌕 Guild Lackey


One of the most annoying achievements in the game. The problem is that there are no effective passive sources to gain in in the game; almost always you will have to collect it literally bit by bit.

This resource is used to build combat mechanical units and the faction’s ultimate weapon, the Frigate. Therefore, even a small amount of this resource is already very good and there is never an excess of it.

Fortunately, even after you have already won the match, you can continue the match, set the game speed to x2 and just wait until the resource accumulates by itself. Let's look at how you can receive Space Guild Favor.

Build the Spacing Guild Branch. This is a unique building that can only be one in the entire faction. It allows you to trade Spice or Influence with the Space Guild. The Space Guild itself can also provide you with a large amount of Water or Mechanical parts.

If you provide resources to the Guild, this gives you +1 to the accumulation of Favor Points. But if you also ask them for a resource, then this gives -1, so it is worth periodically canceling trade with them in order to continue to slowly accumulate the resource.
Find and capter Space Cruiser Wreck special region. From time to time Scrap Piles can be found on this territory, so you can send an Agent or a squad of soldiers to collect it. In any case, you will receive 10 Favor points for each collected Scrap, which is already very good.

If you come across this region on the map, this can significantly speed up obtaining the achievement. Thanks to it, I was able to accumulate 500 points in single 2-hour match.


If you are unlucky with special region, then another way to get Favor Points is to destroy the Renegades. I already wrote about this above in the Pest Control achievement. For destroying each renegade unit you will receive 2 Favor Points, and for destroying their base you will grant 30 Points at a time.

In this way, sooner or later you should accumulate 500 points and unlock the achievement.

🌕 Playing With Others/Thrill of Victory




Go to Multiplayer Section from main menu. Here you can create your own lobby and choose game settings, add bots or invite other players.


Or you can also join to already existed game lobby. In any case you have to finish one MP match without forfeiting and win one with at least 1 human player. It will be very nice to unlock both achievements in one match.

About Distraction and how i do it
Pick largest skirmish map
You play as Smugglers
Easy AI as Atreides
Capture all spice titles and if enemy also whant some, decline piece with him (but first try capture ALL of it)
In process grade all yellow busts on mane base or whatever, you will need large amount of cash
So what to do
Try to evolve your pet to high lanclard position
by woting or peace or just waitng (bot eventually get to 450 point)
By that time u should give him some charter (water or spy related)
When u get close to all points (1 charter and high politics on enemy) start to buy some stock

Thank you for the "Insanity" ahievement method! Followed it to the letter, and everything played out just like you've described! Fremen got the knife first, then Ecaz got uppity with their hegemony, but they too had a knife accident, and the last were the inhabitants of Sietch Tuek, who survived this long only because they were lagging far behind other factions.
They did try to assasinate my Baron, but were stupid enough to take the bribe and back off the attempt. So they got the knife instead!

Hello everyone! I've got trouble with getting "No mercy for traitor" achievement. As far as I'm concerned you must be attacked by AI while you're in truce with it, but they always break the truce legally even when I surround the enemy main base and put my units nearby to attack me. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you.

Yes, it is working with AI players. Here you have to reach the same goal as for the Governor victory achievement, but now you have to make votes for you ally faction and still win the match in any way, such as Hegemony or CHOAM victory.

While I'm not interested in knowing how to achieve Steam achievements I did find this to be an extremely informative guide for me as a beginner. I'm playing a kanly game against House Vernius and they slapped a patent on a military tech that requires me to pay 500 solaris to House Vernius in order to research it. I searched for patent in discussions and then guides and this was the only place that gave me a good quick answer. I'm impressed that Xealeen has maintained this excellent guide by including new info from the latest DLC and major update. I liked and gave this a favorite rating, perhaps the best game guide I've ever seen for any game.
