Description
This mod will allow a faction to gradually adapt a region's unsuitable climate, and slowly reduce the debuff every turn until it is completely removed. However, if the region is captured or destroyed by another faction, you will need to start over. It is not compatible with mods that add new climate effect bundles. Works for a saved game.

Unpleasant Climate (yellow) takes 25 turns
Uninhabitable Climate (red) takes 50 turns

Some text won't show correctly if you don't use this English sub-mod.

This is also a faster adaptation version of this mod. Please don't use both mods at the same time.

Thanks to sudkks's help, the icon on the campaign map will show correct effects and icons now.

Do you think it would be possible to make a version where the faction can actually adapt to an 'Unpleasant Climate' within 50 turns, but can't adapt at all to an 'Uninhabitable Climate'? Wouldn't that be more lore-friendly? In theory, it makes sense that certain factions wouldn't be able to colonize certain parts of the world.

Alarielle in IEE was working on Nagarythe for me a couple of days ago, although adaptation happened very quickly.

This mod seems to still work for me. Which faction and region do you encounter bugs, and are you playing with a campaign mod or mod that changes climates?

Yes it does need update. Not working right now, something in the latest group of patches broke this one.

@Kälrøgh They won't be compatible, and the progression effect bundles will be like vanilla unless he made a built-in compatible support.

Got a little question, you said " It is not compatible with mods that add new climate effect bundles", does it means it is compatible with commissar jon f*klow's "Climate Rebalance" that just tweaks existing ones and not creating any new one, or not compatible with it neither ??
