⚠️Workshop Beta must be enabled in the game's properties!
⚠️The game must be launched via Workshop launcher only!
thanks

"2.6 fix sp 1.8" means that Union is not active. Version should be shown as "Union 1.0m".
To enable - carefully read the description above.
i can check the correct version is being executed (version 2.6 fix sp 1.8), for example the inventory is the same old one, not the new one, in short i do not know how to enter the menus for your plugins
Are you sure that Union works? Do you have Workshop Beta enabled? Game is running from Workshop launcher?

Deleting the gothic.ini file [or removing the [VIDEO] section] allows the game to launch and lets me edit settings, but upon trying to start the game (during the loading bar progress), the game crashes and displays the same error.
Version: 2.6 fix sp 1.8
OS: Windows 11 PRO 25H2
Workshop: Union only
Game version & betas: workshop
A few months ago Gothic was working fine for me. Since then, the only changes have been a clean system format and switching to a 4K monitor (I've already tested changing the resolution to Full HD and lowering the refresh rate to 60Hz).
